How many acupuncture treatments does it take to relieve stress? Is this something that needs continual treatment?
There is no proof that acupuncture can relieve stress.STRESS CONTROL There are many ways to tame your stress and keep it at bay. Here are 20 tips to tame your stress today, and keep the stress monsters at bay. 1. Perform diaphragmatic or “deep breathing” exercises. 2. Lie face down on the floor and begin breathing deeply and slowly, with your hands resting under your face. Do this for five minutes. 3. Sit in a reclining chair. Put a hand on your abdomen and a hand on your chest. As you breathe, make sure the hand on your abdomen is moving up and down rather than one on your chest. If the hand on your abdomen is moving you are breathing deeply and slowly. 4. Try progressive muscle relaxation or “deep muscle” relaxation. Progressively tense and relax each muscle group in your body. Learn the difference between muscle tension and relaxation. 5. Meditate. Use visualization or guided imagery to help you learn to be one with your thoughts. Sit quietly with your eyes closed, imagining the sights, sounds and smells of your favorite place, such as a beach or mountain retreat. 6. Exercise regularly or take up yoga. Consult a psychologist about the use of biofeedback

I am a 19 years old, I have a hair loss problem while doing bath. What  should I do.
Humans loose 100-200 hairs a day, we shed them just like other mammals. When shedding occurs the hair's bulb is detached from the follicle and falls out. But often the weight and pressure from the surrounding hairs actually keep the shed hairs in place until you pull on them. This is why people notice the most hair loss in the shower nd combing , when the pressure is removed and those hairs are allowed to fall. You do not have a problem unless you start seeing actual bald spots or massive general thinning. Hairs fall and regrow at regular intervals and this process goes on .But if your problem is something major then please consult me.Being a homoeopath I will surely guide you.

I had sex on 2nd nov 2016 but my periods came normal on 10th nov and continued till 15 th nov. Since then I did not had any sexual activity. But this I am late by 2 days. And I am little worried as my periods are regular nd never late. Can I be pregnant?

Hi, When your previous menses was normal with 5-6 days of bleeding and there is no sexual activity after that till today, there are no chances of pregnancy. Hence there is no need to worry. The delay may be due to harmonal imbalance.

My mother suffering from high blood pressure. I.e. Nearly 200. What she should change in her diet. And she have also joint pain. Hardly walking.

HI, She should restrict her salt intake and avoid taking oil fried food, chats, namkeens, pickles, pappads, etc, salty food. She can take lot of fresh raw vegetables and fruits. For arthritis, take tab. Shallaki 400 mg 1-2 tabs 3 times a day depending on the severity of the pain. Take Balarista 2tsf 3 times a day, mixed with equal quantity of water and Maharasnadi Khadha 2 tsf 3 times a day, mixed with equal quantity of water. Apply Rumalaya liniment to the affected joints and massage in circular motion for 10-15 mins and then take hot water fomentation. Avoid potatoes, sweet potatoes, sweet pumpkin, peas, channa, recently harvested rice, jackfruit, etc. Which aggrevate the pain. You can even undergo physio- therapy for 10-15 days.

Use Oil control face wash. Eat healthy nutritious food. Avoid oily food cheese chocolates and caffeinated drinks Avoid direct sun exposure. Please get an evaluation done from a dermatologist. Peels and lasers available at Dermatologist clinic will help. You may need internal medication as well.

Dengue/Break bone fever

Dengue/Break bone fever
Due to increase in the incidence of dengue in the recent past, it is important to get screened for the disease at the earliest before complications occur. This can save many lives.
Symptoms and signs of dengue:
1. Fever
2. Severe headache
3. Muscle and joint pains (break bone fever)
4. Appearance off small red bump like rashes similar to measles.

Kindly contact your doctor at the earliest if these symptoms occur.
Drink lots of fluids to maintain hydration (most important requirement in dengue)
Get tested for IGM and IGG dengue virus.
Get a complete blood count.
If there are any signs of bleeding (fall in platelet count) get admitted immediately.

Papaya leaf juice has shown a lot of beneficial effects in bringing up the platelet count which falls below normal in dengue patients.

Hello, I am giving you general health advises for proper digestion: 1.Take small frequent meal kindly take 5-6 small meal in whole day 2.Take 6-8 glass of water in a day 3. Moderate physical activity regularly 4.avoid excessive tea, coffee 5. Do Not postpone Breakfast 6.Avoid food from outside, junk, fried, spicy fatty food 7.Take home made light food like moong dal, Dalia, chapatti also tell me associated symptoms like vomiting sensation, loose motion/ burning sensation in chest or any other symptoms are present or not? so that we can reach diagnosis. Kindly consult physician for further management

Hi, BOil 1 spoon fennel (saunf) seeds in a cup of water for 3-4 minutes at low flame. Let it cool and consume lukewarm (early morning / before 1/2 hour to breakfast, about 11 am ).
