Hi, your problem is stiffness of back and whole leg muscles so do stretching of those muscles and strengthing exercise with the help of physiotherapist and learn all exercise, hopefully you will be fine take care.

You should go to some physiotherapist for proper diagnosis. May be your lower back muscles are tight or weak then you should do strengthening exercises but that too should be taught by a physiotherapist. Thanks.

Hello lybrate-user Sitting with your legs crossed can create the unintended consequence of compressing several blood vessels and nerves which travel through the area of the thigh, knee, and calf.  Nerve compression and restricted blood flow may cause localized pain and numbness.  The pain should quickly subside once your legs are uncrossed. Try pigeon pose yoga, gently massage the area with your hands, you can use hot packs to subsides pain. Take care.

Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily.

Hi = relax and stay positive. = increase fluid intake. = eat seasonal fruits for natural vitamins = do streching of hamstring, quadriceps, and calf muscles. = if you are overweight, reduce weight by cycling or swimming as it gives low impact on joints. = do check your calcium and vit. D = apply moist heat pad to affected joint and muscles. If still you dont get relief consult physiotherapist as there are various causes for leg/ joint pain and some test may be required for further investigation. Best wishes.

First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket . And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back . you may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * Gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * Surya Namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * In diet vegetable protein of cereal , B complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief. These are Symptoms of flu : • Fever with shivering • bodyache • dry cough • lack of desire to eat • nausea • feeling of uneasiness or discomfort

I am having sciatica. The most pain is in the buttocks hips thighs and calf region of leg. Burning sensation ks also there. I am doing yoga exercises and taking hot water bath with eucalyptus oil. What other things I should be doing? I have taken physiotherapy treatments also. Pain still persists and its a constant pain. Please help.

Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Avoid elevation of shoulder it might be of peri arthritis or of pathological reason apply hot and cold compression of 15 min duration daily for 12 days followed by shoulder strenghening exercise from neuro physiotherapist.

I am 46 years old. I have sciatica pain. It is nagging pain on my buttock area. Back of the thigh and back of knee and also radiates to the bottom side of my right foot. All these pains only on the right side. Kindly advise if nivirin tablets would be helpful for such pain. What is the best solution in your opinion.

All this pain killers only give you temporary pain relief and not advisable more than stipulated period because of their adverse reactions my opinion is to consult neuro physiotherapist and can take ift & vacuum therapy physiotherapy treatment for 12 days of 15 minutes duration each followed by spinal extension exercise once pain subsides usr only firm hard and even mattress for sleep

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Post injury knee pain is mostly because of meniscus tear or ligament injury. Get MRI of knee at best centre with 3 tesla machine. That will be helpful to have diagnosis Then treatment can be advised
