Have confidence in yourself. Every person has some or the other good points and strengths. Focus on your strengths. Do things that satisfy you. Involve in an hour of physical activity or group outdoor games. Also, you will surely feel good by confiding your fears in your near and dear ones. If not take councelling sessions to get guidance.

Yes you can start GFCF diet for your child. Many kids show lot of improvement in attention and communication after starting the diet. No, you do not need any blood test. No side effects. Only you need to be prepared with menu for your child because after removing wheat and milk you will need to think and plan for lot of replacements in diet to keep his tummy full. Now you get GFCF atta and soya milk as easy replacements. For details you can get in touch with me, if you have more queries.

Sir/Madam, My son is 3 years 3months old. Issue - speeching delayed. Last week we visited a paediatrician for the first time for this case. She has advised me to get autism screening by a psychologist and BERA test from ENT. Psychologist has given "no autism category" result. Our ENT deptt doesn't have BERA testing facility. But they have told the child has no signs of hear loss. He can pronounce around 12 words now. Is there anything to concern seriously? Thanks.

Being 3.3,the child should be talking easily in sentences but sometimes due to environmental reasons like lack of good social environment or exposure many kids do take time in speaking. Try taking consultation with a speech therapist as they can guide you how to encourage child to talk better. Till then talk more and more to the child, encourage every word spoken by him. Provide prompts to make word finding easy for the child.

If child has been diagnosed for autism, they must have surely recommended ZERO screen time. If you stop screen time then only she will start repeating your dialogues. Echolalia is curable. And they surely can be mainstreamed. Just continue with Occupational Therapy.

By 2.5, child is expected to talk in sentences but some exceptions are possible. You need to get the developmental assessment done in detail if he has issue with concentration OR is he always on the run OR do you feel he doesn't respond to name call OR if he doesn't maintain eye contact while interacting with you all. If you can share a small video of his I might be able to guide.

You can always get your vitamin levels (B12, D) checked through blood test for confirmation. Besides deficiencies, this pain can also be due to muscular cramps that might happen due to lack of proper muscle strength. You will need to do strengthening excercises to help that. Thirdly, you will need to follow joint protection techniques like avoid long standing, avoid jerky movements like jumping on hard surface, avoid stair climbing etc till you redevelop the strength in the muscles around knee. You can consult to understand the excercises needed at this stage.

Visit a local physiotherapist and take regular treatment. They will use physical modalities to relieve pain and will also guide her about the muscle strengthening excercises. Strengthening is must in this case. Without that medicines can only suppress pain but not the root cause.
