Hello sir according to your height your weight should be around 70 kg. Recduce your weight by have normal diet try to have small ande frequent meals, include more of fruits and vegetables in your diet, have salt free dinner thrice a week, try to avoid dinner after 7: 00pm.

Hi. I am addicted to smoking, I have picked it up since last 3 years and till now continuing. I know its not good for heart as well as lungs. Please give your opinion about how do I quit this habit?

Yes, it is very harmful for more than the damage to heart and lungs. You must quit your smoking completely and you must do it now, seriously. The tobacco tar in cigarette smoke lines your lung with huge patches that make that portion dysfunctional. Your oxygen carrying capacity is jeopardized, and breathing is impinged. But don’t be discouraged because it is not too late even now to reverse all the ill-effects of smoking. I don’t know what other organs could be damaged but do go for a thorough medical check up to assess the effects of your abuse. Regarding improving your lungs, do a lot of aerobic exercise breathing through your nostrils only. Then there are a lot of deep breathing exercises in Yoga which you can learn too. Deep breathing cleanses your system and lungs and restores it to good health. Deep breathing uses the 80% of the lungs which are not normally used in normal breathing and even when exerting yourself. The greatest effect is in the lungs because this substance is processed through the respiratory system directly through the lung surface. You should start vigorous exercises, gradually increasing it over a period of time. Do deep breathing exercises every time you feel like smoking (try Yoga), and replace the oral urge with some healthy food substitute to satiate the need. You may also take hard candy or chewing gum. If the urge is too strong, then use nicotine gums and nicotine patches, for a little while until the smoking drive reduces, substantially. You may also join Smokers Anonymous in your city where the support is really extraordinary for like-minded people who are also in the same situation. Keep yourself occupied or engaged with interesting activities during the times when it is most tempting. Keep the company of non-smokers for some time i.e. at least for the first 21 days. Above all announce it to everyone that you have quit smoking. Here’s a piece of very good advice: even if you accidentally/willfully take a cigarette, it is not the end of the world – you can start the cessation all over again. You must persevere with the best support until you defeat this addiction. Counseling is very useful in the initial stages and when temptations are at their highest. But don’t fool yourself any smoking is harmful, and you need to seriously get on with quitting it completely and immediately.

To get rid of 5 kg in a month is very easy. You don't need to starve or be dependent on diet charts and gymnasium. Go for simple walks if gymnasium facilities are out of reach. Reduce salt and sugars to bare minimum. Eat only good fats like a spoon of desi ghee or butter and a katori of assorted nuts everyday. Drink fresh lemon juice and honey added to water every day on empty stomach. Don't eat or drink for next hour. Eat plenty of seasonal vegetables and fruits, never mind the calories, they are healthy calories plus vitamins and minerals. Empty calories are sugar and lipids. Avoid cold drinks and fruits juices also. Eat whole fruits to get fiber, eat one full meal of daal roti chawal etc. Do write back after a month, don't weigh yourself everyday.

Night blindness is due to a disorder of the cells in the retina that are responsible for vision in dim light. It has many causes, including: • Short-sightedness • Glaucoma medications that work by constricting the pupil • Cataracts • Retinitis pigmentosa • Vitamin A deficiency How is night blindness treated? Treatment for night blindness will depend upon its cause. Treatment may be as simple as a new prescription for your glasses or switching glaucoma medications, or it may require surgery in cases of cataracts Dietary Management For Night Blindness Vitamins A, C and E are potent antioxidants which slow down age related macular degeneration and help maintain healthy tissues and cells in the eyes. Vitamins C and E may also inhibit the development or progression of cataracts. Aim to eat at least 2 to 4 servings or more of these foods every day to ensure that you are getting enough of these 5 powerful nutrients.

Pre-term risk is for all till one reaches full term. Proluton depot usually has not much effect but also usually given repeatedly

I'm 20 years old. I had an intercourse with my boyfriend on may 29 using his condom. After that first time I got my periods correctly. Next month it was 7 days late after 7 days I got my periods but now it is 10 days late for me. I'm so afraid of that. I ate many pineapples and some papaya.
