This type of problem is common in this age. The reason may be due to partial obstruction in naso lacrimal duct. Massage is very effective that is from medial side of eyes to lower part of nose. It will help drainage of tears. Massage is to done 2, 3 times w day. You should also consultant an eye specialist. Thanks.

It will not come again if you lose weight and have a healthy lifestyle and diet and exercise. Yes you can conceived naturally too. First periods after delivery can come as late as 9 month. But please rule out pregnancy if in doubt. Also if it does not come by 12 months c your gynecologist.

Dear sir, I am 25 years old mother. I am having 2 years old daughter, she is not ready to eat food like dal-bhat and chapati. She eats with her mood. For health we are normally soaking 2 almonds at hall night and in the morning we are pealing almonds with milk and boiling the same until almonds get mixed very well. Twice in a week we are doing this. But is this ohk in this summer weather? Because of hot weather should we need to stop or having no problem. Please let me know doctor.

Diploma in Child Health (DCH), MBBS
Pediatrician, Ponda
Follow few tips don't run after kid for food let them run after you. Give whatever food prepare at home. Get them involved in cooking process, like washing, peeling, sorting of vegetables. Not to entertain whole gas is on. Don't give them choice. Reward them for eating the food quickly. Switch off tv mobile while eating.

My relative son age is 5 yrs. Boy is suffering from hyperactivity. He won't listen what we says, he is completely out of our world. He won't sit at one place. Simply he shouts. While making sound he il close his eyes & ears with hand. Everything he got late from childhood like walking, talking. Etc. And he don't know how to eat with his hands some one should make him to eat daily. How to reduce it. How to recover him as a normal child. Please suggest me.

M.D.Pediatrics, MBBS
Pediatrician, Mumbai
Dear Lynbrate user Before labelling him hyper active . What is the atmosphere at home does the parents too shout or any other family member do it. Has he been pampered during his learning stage it means he was fed by family members or maid.how is at school. Many things depend on the environment in the family. What is the status of his health may be he is anaemic and is irritable. Get his CBC done. Hope this helps.

Are there any long term effects associated with taking ADAH (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) medications? If so what are they and what medications are implicated?

MBBS
General Physician, Mumbai
Use of stimulant decreases the symptoms to a much good effect and if we don't give stimulant medication there will be more of conduct disorder and progress in disease and for side effects we have to monitor the person and advice them accordingly.

After six months of age, babies need complementary foods apart from breastmilk. Ideally, complementary foods must be fresh, home cooked foods with a thick, soft consistency.

Hi My daughter is 6 months old. Need suggestion on what all skin products are good to use like cream, oil, bath wash etc. As I see her skin colour is getting darker day by day. Thanks a lot in advance.

Color is based on family history. It s better not to use any creams. Just applying coconut or olive oil is enough.
