My daughter, a female pug, 5 years old who has recently developed some grey rough patches near nail roots in left paw and a slightly bigger similar patch above with hair loss. Initially, her nails bled and we started applying ay fungal topicals. The patches are still there and occasionally she limps. Any suggestion is deeply appreciated.

My dog a german shepherd of 2.5 months licks very little and nip bites a lot. Also, during barking foaming at mouth starts. Kindly advice whether it is normal.

Psychologically its bored that's why he is doing these sorts of signs of licking and nibbling. Also the frothy while barking is due to continuous barking. So please try to spend time with your dog.

My dog was diagnosed with mammary tumor. Presently the size of tumor is very small. Is there any medicine by which this tumor can be cured.

There is no medicine available for mammsry tumor. You can try homeopathy, but it better if you get this operated.

You have probably heard that you want to feed your GSD a low-fat, high-protein diet. And this is correct, when your dog is at their ideal weight. A high-protein, low-fat diet is perfect for helping your dog maintain his weight, giving him the nutrient he needs to be energized and build muscle. When your German shepherd is underweight, however, adding more fat to his diet is a good idea. This will provide his body with the calories it needs to start to put on weight. This does not mean that you should just be feeding him the fattiest kibble that you can find. You still want plenty of protein in that diet, but you do not want to be feeding him just protein. If you do not want to change kibbles, you might try adding some animal fat to the food that he is already eatng. His will do two things: first, it will up the calorie count of that food, giving him the ability to gain weight; second, it will probably make the food you are feeding him a little more enticing. If your dog is underweight because he simply is not interested in eating, putting some animal fat on his kibble could help to rectify this problem.

Betadine will not help in your dog's case. Please take to a good veterinary doctor who knows how to do skin test.

I want urgent answer that if a dog is taken in a car with AC on and is not used to it as she stays outside only during summers without fan only in shade so will it harm her from moving across car to hot weather outside. please let me know very soon.

BVSc.& AH
Veterinarian, Jalandhar
Dogs don't possess sweat glands. So they don't sweat. They loose their body heat by panting .you May take your dog in car with AC on but when you reach your destination make sure that You give some time to your dog to adapt to surrounding temperature. Don't let her move to high temperature area immediately coming out of AC.

Hello Doctors. My vet prescribed neurobion forte injection for my rabbit for 3 days who suffered from anorexia. After completing this treatment my bunny can feed small. How much days need to recover from this eating disorder?

MD - Homeopathy, BHMS
Homeopath, Vadodara
It may not recover if the treatment is not right... I don't think that it is because of the vitamin deficiency... better consult for homoeopathic treatment..
