Hello lybrate user, leg pain after running is common due to spasm in the leg muscles known as tibialis anterior which functions to pull the foot towards your body during walking, running. When a person runs or exerts an unaccustomed stress there occurs production of lactic acid in the muscle which is quite painful. Relief by: rest ice application stretching exercises will help a lot god bless you.

Hello, Eating only fatty or fried food is not the right way of increasing weight! The eating should be sensible balanced with exercises. Gaining weight is a slow process which requires patience and dedication! The food what and how you eat, makes the difference! For increasing your weight, concentrate on the below points ( if you don’t have any medical condition) which helps in gaining weight in a right way without harming your body. - Consume more healthy fats. Foods containing healthy fats are full of nutrients and also high in calories, making them a great option for weight gain. Foods containing plant fats should be your first option - this includes items such as nuts, seeds, peanut butter, avocados and olive oil. Foods containing healthy animals fats include lean meats and full fat dairy products - although if you have high cholesterol, you should probably stick to low-fat options. -Eat more protein. Good sources of protein include lean meat, fish and poultry, in addition to eggs, whole grains, dairy products and legumes. -Drink more calories. Try drinking a large glass of orange juice in the mornings (along with your normal breakfast). Drink a glass or two of full-cream milk throughout the day.Protein shakes will help you to gain muscle mass, particularly if you're working out. -Have 6 small and frequent meals in a day. -Gain muscle mass. It's a good idea to continue to exercise while you attempt to gain weight the healthy way. Strength training includes working with weights and performing exercises such as squats, deadlifts, bench presses, bicep curls, crunches, chin-ups and leg curls. Just keep in mind that the more you exercise, the more calories you will need to consume to replace those you lost while working out. This is where protein shakes and bars really come in handy. -Quit smoking. As it suppresses the appetite. -Stay healthy. The most important thing through the entire weight gain process is to stay healthy - eating a balanced diet and continuing to exercise throughout. -Take enough of rest and sleep for rejuvenation of the cells and tissues. -Think Positive which will help you in achieving your target of gaining weight. -Avoid taking unnecessary stress/ tension. Medication: Take Schwabe’s Alfaalfa Tonic and Five Phos., both thrice daily ½ an hour before meals for 1month.

I have to concentrate on my studies I have distraction's I am thinking about my friends (2) all the time. Their behaviour is not good they avoid me sometimes. I have to forget them completely and one of those is my roommate I feel depressed sometimes thinking too much of them. I have to concentrate and get a job I'm n my final year btech please help me out.

You have to try not to think about other's matters and focus on your studies. Because after the final year of college you will get a job individually and not with your friends. I m suffering from hyper acidity sometime acid reflux too. I use to take medicine for this I. E Zinetac 150 in morning, whenever I forgot the medicine I use to suffer from this stupid acidity.

1. Drink 100-500 ml of tender coconut water twice a day for relief from hyperacidity Mix equal parts of powdered fennel, licorice root, basil leaves and coriander seeds. Have ½ teaspoon of this mixture with ½ teaspoon of powdered rock candy (or unrefined sugar) 15 minutes before lunch and dinner. 2.Make a powdered mixture of equal parts of rock candy (or unrefined sugar), fennel, and green cardamom. Whenever you feel heartburn, mix 1 teaspoon of the mixture in a glass of cold milk and drink. 3.Avoid tea, coffee, and carbonated or alcoholic beverages.Especially stop drinking bed tea. 4.Avoid using garlic, ginger, onions, tomatoes, and vinegar in cooking. 5.Curd should be strictly avoided at night. 6. Practice Yoga and Pranayama such as Vajrasana, Bhujangasana, Salabhasana, Bhastrika Pranayama,Shitali Pranayama and Shitkari Pranayama. 7.Drink plenty of fluids and water. 8. Avoid constipation. 9. Revert back after 10 days. Take Care.

I didn't got my periods for past two months. I went for a check-up and the doctor gave me tablets for periods arrival. Doctor said that after eating that tablets I will get my periods in 4th day. But its 6th day I haven't get it. My weight is increased 3 kgs and sometimes I have a feeling of periods arrival but it was not coming. What shall I do next for periods arrival?

Please tell are you married? First check for pregnancy if you are married. What should be reduced its very imp for good health. May be you will get periods in a day or two if not consult doctor again and get a sonography done to rule out PCOD.

You already taken medical treatment. Now you feel there is no use. For depression psychotherapy, psychological counselling, relaxation therapy, hypnotherapy. Behaviour therapy is most beneficial. But you never consult psychologist for therapies. You need therapies. Now better to consult a good psychologist for therapy. You better explore each and everything before him. Trust him. Then you will get the real benefit. As per psychologist better to change to behaviour. Strictly follow his suggestions. Then you will overcome from this status. Ok best of luck. Dear lybrate-user, How are you? You are in pain of fatherhood, I understood. Your son is having Congenital anomaly and Surgery is the only option. Go to fully equipped hospital with full ICU support & well qualified Urologist, Nephrologist & neonetologist. Any type of surgery you can choose either open or Lap. Acoordind to my experience, Open surgery will be better for this condition. But, if expert lap. Urologist is available, you can have that choice. Both have its ifs & buts.
