- use a soft toothbrush -- and brush properly! brush your teeth for at least two minutes twice a day and after meals. Hard brushing can further damage the soft tissues of your mouth. - floss at least once a day and be sure to floss beyond the gum line to remove more plaque. - control bleeding by applying pressure to the area with a cold compress. - rinse with salt water or hydrogen peroxide to keep the area clean. Avoid mouthwashes that contain alcohol, which can dry out your mouth. - stay away from smoking and other tobacco products, which can aggravate bleeding gums. - eat a balanced diet and limit snacking between meals. Carbohydrates and sugars feed dental plaque. - try an oral irrigation device, commonly known as a" water pick, to clear debris from around the gum line. - you may need deep cleaning along with surgical curettage or gum strengthening procedure. Use pepsodent tooth paste & gum paint for 2 to 3 weeks. Advance procedures can be done with laser.

Hi, you should go for 45 minutes brisk walk in the morning. Do regular exercise atleast 15 minutes. Take lukewarm water with lemon in the morning. Include more fruits, sprouts and vegetables, eat salad before meals. Don't take rice at night. Take small and frequent meals.

First of all you should follow some basic thing 1. Avoid=hot and cold at time 2. Less the sugar as much as possible if you want to eat sweet take juggery which is black 3. Learn About Posture and Back Pain

Poor posture while sitting, standing, lying down or moving around is a major cause for back pain. Sitting and standing for long time put considerable pressure on the lower back in fact, standing exerts up to five times more pressure than lying down, and sitting is even more strenuous.

Learn about the importance of good posture

Good posture can help prevent back pain, neck pain, muscle and ligament strains, compressed nerves and other injuries. It also has a number of other positive health effects and can be beneficial physically, mentally and emotionally. Good posture improves your appearance and helps you project self-confidence.

Recognize the symptoms of bad posture

Signs and symptoms of poor posture include slumped or rounded shoulders, protruding abdomen, excessive curve in the lower back (swayback) as well as back and neck pain and headaches. Problems in the neck is one of the major cause of headaches.

Maintain a healthy weight

Carrying excess weight can put extra strain on your back and abdominal muscles and lead to bad posture. Walking is one of the best ways to improve posture and lose weight.

Choose a firm mattress to support your spine

Try to avoid sleeping on your stomach the best sleeping position for your back is on your side with your knees bent. Make sure your pillow supports your neck in a straight position to prevent neck pain and sore muscles. Your mattress should not be too soft and too hard. Best is 40 density foam mattress.

Avoid wearing high heels and platform shoes

Make sure your shoes fit properly and offer good support especially when you're on your feet a lot during the day and when you're exercising. High heels throw your back out of line and adversely affect posture. They should be worn only for short periods of time, if at all.

Minimize stress on your lower back

Don't stand too long in one position. Rest one foot on a low stool or another stable object and frequently shift your weight from one leg to another. To relax, bend from your waist and let your head, neck, shoulders and arms hang down briefly.

Learn about sitting, posture and back pain

Extra pressure exerted on the back when sitting comes from the upper body shifting forward, forcing the back muscles to strain to hold you upright. Slouching increases pressure on your lower back 10 to 15 times more than lying down.

Choose a chair that firmly supports your lower back

For long periods of sitting, choose a straight chair without heavy padding. The chair should fit under your desk or table so that you maintain your upright posture. Armrests are helpful to support some of your weight, especially when shifting position.

Sit firmly back in your chair

Keep your shoulders against the chair back, your chest lifted, and your upper back straight. A rolled up towel or small lumbar pillow can provide extra support. When working at a desk, bring your chair close enough that you needn't lean over. Your feet should touch the floor comfortably.

Make adjustments while you work

If you're typing or working at a computer, make sure that all of your work is at a comfortable level. Looking up or down for long periods of time can put stress on your neck, shoulders and upper back muscles. If possible, get up, stretch and move around often.

Use proper techniques when lifting

Good posture is important—not only when sitting, standing or lying down, but also when moving and lifting whether at home or on the job. It's important to maintain good posture and lift with your legs and arms to reduce your risk for back pain.

Learn how to maintain good posture while driving

When driving, position your seat so that you can easily reach the steering wheel, brake and accelerator. If possible, try to adjust your knees slightly higher than your hips. On long drives, change your seat position occasionally and stop every couple of hours to stretch and walk around. Avoid slumping or sitting in a twisted position for example, with your elbow resting heavily on the windowsill. If your seat doesn't provide enough support, try a seat pad, rolled up towel or lumbar roll. Reposition your hands on the wheel frequently to reduce upper back and neck strain.

Know when to contact spine and pain specialist

If your back or neck pain worsens or becomes chronic in spite of home remedies to improve your posture, seek medical attention. Your doctor, on examination and depending on severity, may recommend diagnostic tests like x ray or mri. Physiotherapy and exercises should only be performed on advise of your doctor. You may ask your physiotherapist to discuss with your doctor.

Do you have ear discharge also? it may be due to some infection in the ear. You can start tab. Advent 625 mg three times a day, tab. Rantac 150 mg twice a day and tab. Ibugesic plus twice a day for 1 week.

I will suggest you to wash your hair daily with lux shampoo and apply hair oil daily and follow up with finding after two weeks and stop minoxidil for now.

Start taking black til (seasam) with a glass of lukewarm milk early morning. Avoid pickles, spices, oily, greesy food items, too much of salt in food shud be avoided. Start avle ka murabba daily. Also have a high protien rich diet e. G. Pulses, dry fruits, black gram, ground nut etc, white of egg (if you eat egg). Also oil your hair with good herbal oil and wash with herbal shamppoo - avoid shampoos with high acid contents. As far as ayurveda's therapy is concerned - start with shirodhara with herbal oil and nasyam therapy for atleast 15 days. This will greatly help. Do gentle massage with herbal hair oil daily night for 15 minutes.

U should change your diet mangement. 1- firstly you should take luke-warm water with lemon in early morning. 2- breakfast is heavy but avoid (puri, paratha, cheese, butter) take brown bread, with one glass of skimmed milk. 3- take snacks 2hr after taking breakfast (u should take one cup of green tea with one fruit). 4- take light lunch (but you should take 2roti, with one bowl green vegitable and pluses). 5- take fruite in snacks. 6- after some time take one cup of green tea. 7- take dinner more lighter than lunch, you should take 1roti, with vegitable (green) with salad. 8- after 10 min of dinner take green tea. 9- take dinner before 9 pm. Walk slowly atleast 15 min after dinner. 10- you will see changes in 6-10 days. If any query let me know.

Mrs Soumya, To give any suggestions, I need to know some details like : Fasting and PP sugar levels (present), HbA1c%, current treatment, dietary pattern and extent of daily physical activity. It is better if you come in a private conversation with these details,, where I will be able to give specific suggestions. In this communication we are supposed to give only general guidelines like - Avoid sweets, deep fried foods, junk foods, pastries, red meat and egg yolk. Consume more of green leafy vegetables, salads and permitted fruits (100 g a day). Exercise at least for 1 h a day. Basically diabetes mellitus treatment needs drugs plus following a modified life style.

Dear, You must be able to understand Concentration, attention span, recollection and distraction. If you are able to watch a movie for two hours continuously, if you are able to play a game for an hour, then you do not have any concentration problems. You can't be attentive towards your studies because you are not interested in it. You are able to watch movie and play game because you are interested in it. Human cannot be attentive towards anything for more than 10 minutes. Then you should study in such a way that your attention is continued and make the subjects are interesting to you. Effective learning techniques should help you. Recollection depends on anxiety, stress and other physical and circumstantial factors. Distractions while studying are plentiful. You should be able to overcome distractions or avoid distractions. Please understand the above. Change your study style and attitude accordingly. Please post a private question to me and I will help you with "effective learning" techniques. Avocados, Beetroots, Blueberries, Broccoli. Celery, Coconut Oil, Dark Chocolate etc are good for improving concentration. Take care.

My father is 57 he is still very much interested in sex but my mom is not she is 48 aged. He follows my mom every moment .so we consulted to psychologist he told that he is suspicious on my mom and blaming my mom's character. My mom is good one. Doctor asked to use tablets but also he dint change after using tablets .he is still crying unnecessarily and unsleepy .and we are in dilemma and depressed with him.

Hi there ~ please have your mother consult a gynecologist. Usually the use of a vaginal lubricant cream is all that is necessary to have painless enjoyable sex at that age. Mr Dojan, First thing is you have to achieve excellent sugar control, (fasting closer to 100 mg and PP areound 150 to 160 mg and HbA1c%<7). Then get an examination done to see any enlargement of prostate, because that can affect passing urine and cause difficulty.
