I have black Labrador female dog she is of 6 months she is not gaining weight what I should feed him and how much?

Veterinarian, Darjeeling
Well, go for deworming first with suitable dewormer and liver tonic. Give oral calcium, phosphorus, vit d supplientation (like ostopet syrup etc.) and multivitamin with minerals tonic (syrup a to z) and a digestion booster containing essential enzymes. Give balanced diet of proper quantity. Give it plenty of water to drink. Grow a habit of little exercise daily. You will surely notice the difference.

If your dog has vomited it is fine, no botheration, our domestic lizards are harmless,& cats eat them & even some human beings also do eat that I have noted it does not matter any thing to your dog, be tension free, of course there are poisonous lizards also, even after eating the contents should go to blood to see the symptoms, if your dog has lose motion, give antimalarial medicines, do not worry,

Hi lybrate-user, stop feeding your pug with cerelac. Give cold milk or butter milk what ever it likes, provide more water. Give rest for 2-3 days. Do not force him to eat for 2-3 days. Problem will solve.

Hey please any doctor help me my dog has eaten a frog and he is vomiting. please suggests me any fast treatment.

MVSc (Ph.D)
Veterinarian,
Dog is carnivores, it eats many kinds of animals, if given to it, but generally, it kills & does not eat. Vomition is an act of getting out the frog from stomach, it is good thing, I have not encountered such situations as like you, in my opinion, it may digest the frog, by its digestive juices, or more prompt, the frog should be removed by laparotomy means by surgical operation, it is done well. Frogs have obnoxious glands on its skin, due to which there will be vomiting,

Pus coming from ear is Otitis. You need to clean the ears thoroughly with hydrogen peroxide and ear cleaners. If it's severe, you need to take a course of antibiotics for a week or so. Ear drops need to be instilled three to four times daily.

My dog which is 1 year 7 months spitz drinks very less water. Its water intake is very less. We tried like adding bit of sugar in water and so. Can't understand the reason behind it. It's urine is always yellow and strong smell. Please suggest with some remedies.

Normally some dog drink less water and get water form other sources like dahi, buttermilk etc. If his urine is yellow and his appetite is reduce in last few days then you should get him check with vet.
