Hi lybrate-user, please consult a doctor and dietician before you start taking any such supplements. The best treatment for pcod is a high fiber low fat diet and believe me thyroid and pcod both can be treated best with a diet only as there is no permanent cure for the same. These supplements would just give you temporary effects or would have no effect at all. Have a diet which has good amounts of fiber which you shall get from foods like fruits, veggies, brown rice, quinoa, daliya. Consume nuts like almonds or walnuts because they contain good fats (only 4 in a day. To add protein you can have dal, pulses, chicken, eggs, yoghurt, milk, cottage cheese etc. Stay hydrated and drink at least 12-15glasses of water per day.

You should have 83 kg.Eat food extra more frequently.Take lots of dense fruits,vegetables.More protein will help in both cases.Add extra oil in cooking.No smoking,alcohol.No water during meals.Use nutritional supplement.These common things will help you to get healthy hair and to gain weight. To boost energy level use honey and tulsi on an empty stomach in the morning and evening.Do exercise like yoga. Do push ups,weight lifting and other muscle building exercise to gain weight.

Pimples are natural in the teens. They start after puberty (11-14yrs) and can continue till 25-30 years of age. However, not everybody is going to have them for all these yrs. The precautions that may help in decreasing their intensity include: - washing face regularly especially when back from outside (to wash away the dust and oiliness) - drink plenty of fluids - do not squeeze the lesions - do not apply oils/ creams/ cosmetics to the face - do not apply hair oils or if you do then shampoo within1hour - avoid foods that may aggravate the acne.

Two glasses of milk contain around 14 gram of protein while the polyunsaturated fats in almond add those extra calories when included in the everyday diet. Crush a handful of almonds and add it to the boiling milk. Simmer it for five minutes. You can sweeten it with a tsp of sugar. Then, pour it in a glass and sip it slowly. To make it more effective, you may put in dates and dried figs in the boiling milk. Drink it twice daily for two months.

Healthy weight gain means more increase in muscles and to a certain extent fat in order to support those muscles. Just eating anything or high calorie foods will result in only fat gain which will not give you a proper body shape and will also be detrimental later in life. A diet high in protein and adequate carbohydrate in necessary. In order to achieve a healthy weight you should know what you have to eat and how much to eat. I have 11 years of experience in this field and have helped innumerable people to manage their weight.

I have recently stopped smoking after I have found blackness on my gums and I also observed that my gums are shrinking. I have been smoking around 10 cigarettes a day for the last 13 yrs. I don't have any dental or any respiratory problems so far. I have decided to not going to smoke again in future. Kindly suggest for my speedy dental recovery. Congratulations on your quitting smoking. You have made an excellent decision and you will reap rich dividends in the future, healthwise and monetarily too. You must visit a dentist and have all your teeth cleaned of plaque and tartar, which you may not be able to notice. This will improve your gums and dental health. When quitting, you must take one day at a time; though you must give up all smoking at once, and promptly. If you look too far ahead you will get discouraged and will give up. If you sit and count the number of days you have given up, that will also focus too much on achievement. You must focus on the here and now, on that day to be precise. After all quitting is not that easy due to many factors. So even if you fail one day, you must try and try again. Very few people succeed in their first attempt. Your persistence will eventually pay off. The urge to discontinue is hampered by many factors but the worst of them is the conditioning. In fact, these conditions can exist all through the day, unlike other addictions. But your desire to want to stop is the most important factor. It is important to find out about the ill-effects of smoking to have a reason that alarms you about continuing the habit. The information is really scary but true and you must remind yourself about this every day. The nicotine in tobacco smoke stimulates the heartbeat to raise the blood pressure in no time at all. So you must avoid it like the plague: it is just very bad medicine for you. In fact, it is highly toxic too. You should start vigorous exercises, gradually increasing it over a period of time. Do deep breathing exercises every time you feel like smoking (try Yoga), and replace the oral urge with some healthy food substitute to satiate the need. You may also take hard candy or chew gum. If the urge is too strong, then use nicotine gums and nicotine patches, for a little while until the smoking drive reduces, substantially. You may also join Smokers Anonymous in your city where the support is really extraordinary for like-minded people who are also in the same situation. Keep yourself occupied or engaged with interesting activities during the times when it is most tempting. Keep the company of non-smokers for some time i.e. At least for the first 21 days. Above all announce it to everyone that you have quit smoking. Here’s a piece of very good advice: even if you accidentally/willfully take a cigarette, it is not the end of the world – you can start the cessation all over again. You must persevere with the best support until you defeat this addiction. Counseling is very useful in the initial stages and when temptations are at their highest. You could also join twitter2quit program and enjoy its success to give up smoking.

Focus on your breathing. 2.Place your thumbs in your ears, your index fingers above your eyebrows, and your remaining along the sides of your nose. Keep each pinky finger near a nostril. 3.Breath in deeply through the nose. First, feel the diaphragm move down, allowing the lungs to expand and forcing the abdomen out; then feel your chest expand with your collar bones rising last. .4.Use your pinkies to partially close each nostril. Keep your lungs filled. .5.Breathe out through the nose while humming. Note that the humming sound should originate in your throat, not as a result of your partially-blocked nostrils. 6.Repeat twenty times.starting from 5 times Drink plenty of water daily

Please do treadmill for at least 60 minutes daily. Keep moving as much as you can whenever you can. Keep meal portions small especially if they’re cooked. Limit your food intake which SHOULD be and ONLY be 4 times a day. Avoid sedentary life/night watching/junk foods. Please follow the above for next 4 weeks and revert for further treatment.
