What Causes Itchy Skin? + How To Trace The Causes?

Itchy skin is a very common skin condition, which is a potential source of discomfort by forcing you to scratch your skin and cause irritation. Itchy skin is a very common condition, which happens very often among individuals. But, it can also be one of the symptoms of a larger disease. Itchiness of the skin may vary in intensity from mild to severe and it is mostly treated by anti-irritant measures that can be done by anybody at home.

Key identifiers: Itchy skin condition is mostly limited to certain areas on the skin, but it may also affect all body parts with an uncontrollable urge to scratch. Some of the additional key identifiers of the medical condition are listed below:

  • Skin redness
  • Bumps or patches on the skin
  • Swelling or inflammation of the skin
  • Cracking of the skin
  • Leathery or scaly texture of the skin

Causes: Skin itching can happen due to a variety of reasons, some of the most common ones being:

Common skin conditions: The most common kinds of skin disorders like acne, eczema, etc. often lead to skin itching. Itching is mostly accompanied by other skin conditions like redness, breakouts, inflammation, and such others.

Internal diseases: Diseases related to the kidney and liver often lead to skin related disorders among which the most common one is skin itching. Additionally, itching may also happen due to serious diseases like cancer.

Nerve related disorders: Diseases that affect the nervous system, either directly or indirectly also act as a catalyst to the skin itching process. Examples of such diseases would be diabetes mellitus, pinched nerves, sclerosis and shingles.

Pregnancy: Pregnant women often experience itching on body parts like abdomen, thighs, breasts and arms.

Drugs: If you are regularly taking antibiotics or antifungal medicines, then these might have some unwanted effects of the skin among which skin itching is the most common one.

Initially get your blood sugar tested in a reputed pathology / clinical laboratory at fasting, 2 hours after morning principal meal and before dinner, if possible hb a1c test then meet a good consultant physician or a diabetologist for further management, advice, follow up, monitoring and review as advised by doctor. Two years back one night in the middle of sleep, I felt as if I was having a heart attack or stroke and was very much scared. Went to doctor next morning, doctor said I am perfectly fine and did not even give any medicines too. But from then on I have different symptoms which mimic heart problems or nerve problems or something in the brain and dizziness etc. Was ordered few tests and everything was normal so doctor said I have anxiety and prescribed serta 25 mg. With or without it I feel normal for 2-3 months or have anxiety for several days. I am so fed up. I am going for so many blood tests every 3-4 months just to make sure nothing is actually wrong with me. Now I even forget taking serta for days together. Can I use it as and when needed or should I use it daily. Also I feel the same with r without it.

Tips to treat Headache

BHMS
Homeopath, Surat
Tips to treat Headache
By Drinking Water
As has been mentioned above, that one of the causes of headaches are due to dehydration/lack of fluids in the body. And we are certainly already know that water is an indispensable component of the intake by the body. Therefore, if you are stricken with headaches, immediately drink plain water. Then make it a habit to drink plain water 8-10 glasses per day so that you avoid the headache.
2. Overcome the headaches with eating potatoes
In addition to being caused by a shortage of liquid/dehydration, headaches can also be caused by the loss of electrolytes such as potassium. Well, for sure we have to handle it a lot to consume foods rich in potassium i.e. one potato. It’s best to eat potatoes, cooked to the way burned with the Peel, or boiled (not fried).
3. With Banana
Banana fruit has many benefits, to know what are the benefits of banana fruit please read the article “17 benefits of Bananas for our health”. In addition to potassium-rich bananas also turned out to be rich in magnesium that can help relieve migraines. Well, if the headache strikes, you can eat bananas to reduce head pain.
4.With Ice Cubes
Did you know, turns ice cubes can also be used to relieve pain in the head. It’s easy, we just need mengosok-polishing/mengkompreskan ice cubes are slowly on the area of your head which ached. Ice cubes will cause numbness on the head which ached, so that will ease the pain of the head.
5. Address the Headaches with the food/beverages that contain Mint
Now, if this way is more suitable if your headache is caused by the pain of ulcers due to skipping a meal so perutmenjadi nausea and headaches. The best way to treat it is to consume food/beverages that contain mint tea such as pappermint etc.
6. Avoid Stress
Often the headache is also caused by the muscles or nerves are strained, in one of the cause is due to too much mind which ultimately cause stress and headaches. So my advice, don’t be too busy with work. Take your time to do for fun.
