ensure your diet contains adequate levels of beneficial fatty acids, as found in oily fish (salmon, sardines, tuna, anchovies, mackerel), raw nuts and seeds, cold pressed vegetable and seed oils, avocados and organic coconut oil. These fats can reduce inflammation in autoimmune thyroid disease, and improve the health of thyroid cells.

Post lunch of 200 is a little high. Cut down alcohol intake to once a month and stick to one peg. Continue with your exercise. Check your hba1c. If that is high you will need small doses of medication.

I am diabetic facing sex problem. No erection. Want to have sex but no erection cannot have that.
Mr. lybrate-user, Long standing diabetes invariably causes ED. Particularly if there's persistent hyperglycemia. Therefore, primary need is strict glycemic control, with FBS around 100 mg, PP150 to 160 mg & HbA1c < 6.8℅ . However, damage caused is hardly repaired. Apart from achieving strict control, you may have to use certain drugs like PDE - Inhibitors for temporary relief. Thanks.

It needs medication and no other way to cure. You have to take tablets life long. One tab per day is not a serious issue to be feared.

lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. The blood glucose levels mentioned are too high, showing totally uncontrolled diabetes. This needs urgent control. Your current treatment is too inadequate. It has to be upgraded. Looking at your weight and height it is clear that you are over weight with a BMI of 27. 27 kgs/M2 (normal <23 kgs/M2). I am sure you are aware that uncontrolled diabetes can cause serious damage to all the vital organs of the body. Due to excess blood glucose you loose a lot of glucose through the urine, that leads to unexplained tiredness and fatigue. Plus there may be weight loss. If you are interested in getting properly treated and having good blood glucose control then please come with following details in a private conversation: Current FBG< PPBG, HbA1c%, Lipid profile, dietary pattern, extent of daily exercise and drugs with dosage. Based on that information I will be able to guide in improving the treatment. Treatment of diabetes needs appropriate drugs, diet control and regular exercise with normal weight maintenance. I await your response. Thanks.
