Do a compete health check up. Doing kidney function tests are not enough if you had taken antibiotics for typhoid they would have destroyed the healthy gut flora unless your Dr. gave you probiotics do the right tests with the right doctor who knows nutrition which is rare and get the right advice you are getting frequent health problems because your immunity is low Change your lifestyle and dietary habits proper detailed history which includes medical, dietary, occupational, social and environmental all of which have influence on your health issue you have to treat the whole patient and not the liver problem alone as such what is your age and job and its nature what lab tests and scans done till now and their results who is the Dr. treating you and what are his qualifications. What medications are you taking now Veg / Non veg Home food / Outside food Cooking oil used do you drink cows milk Sleeping habits - Smoking / Alcohol /Tobacco /Energy / Soft drinks consumption Stress at work / home There is no magic bullet or short cuts for fixing any health issues and all the above factors can affect your overall health needs to be addressed to fix your issue Want to heal your body naturally without medicines and avoid getting lifestyle diseases get a consult. What you should focus is how to avoid getting lifestyle diseases like diabetes, bp, cholesterol, obesity, Cancer your acidity issue is also related to the gut remember all diseases begin in the gut keep your gut healthy and happy for a happy life. Doing the right tests and getting right advice from the lifestyle and wellness trained doctor like me who has a nutrition knowledge is very important to keep you healthy. You will require quality supplements to keep you healthy. There is no one size fits all approach to medicine Take a consult because advice should be personalised and not generalised. Send a feedback with your name and contact number and please highlight your issue because I cannot see your health issue on the feedback Remember No disease that can be treated by Diet should be treated by any other means.

prevention of kidney stones

MS - General Surgery
General Surgeon, Sri Ganganagar
prevention of kidney stones
Renal stone formation is very common in the hot climate. Renal stone formation is very common problem in north india. These are tips for prevention of the renal stones:

Stones are formed when there is nucleation and infection of the renal system. This can be simply prevented by drinking adequate amount of liquids. Now the question is how to know that we are having adequate intake of liquids. Our urine output must be more than 1.5 lt which can be achieved by taking 2.5 lt of fluid in winter and 4 lt of fluid in summers. The colour of the urine must be white or pale yellow which shows adequate urine.

Most of the stones are of calcium oxalate type. There is myth that taking milk and milk products will increase the stone formation but the fact is oral intake of calcium helps in decreasing the absorption of the oxalate from gut and prevent stone formation. So one should take adequate amount of milk and products. (note: calcium supplement can increase stone formation so avoid them).

Try to reduce the food which is very rich in oxalate: common food highly rich in oxalate includes:
Green leafy vegetable
Cashew nuts, almonds, peanuts
Soy products.

Avoid food which have animal protein like non veg food. These food increases the incidence of the stones. Preferably eat vegetable proteins.

Try to take less sodium diet. People who eat high sodium excrete more calcium in the urine and thus can form the stones.

Chronic kidney stones are often treated with potassium citrate, but limeade, lemonade and other fruits and juices high in natural citrate offers the same stone-preventing benefits. So drink more and more such food.

These were few tips for prevention of kidney stones. Management of stones depends upon the size, location and symptoms of the stone. Not all stones are dangerous but few can be such dangerous that can damage kidney.

Some persons are prone to stone formation. There might be some metabolic abnormalities like hyperuricemia, hypercalciuria etc. However high fluid intake, reduced animal protein intake, reduced salt intake and increased citrus fruit intake may help to prevent recurrence of stones.

Dear abishek, this is very common thatg semen culture comes negative even though there is infection. Just complete the coures you have been prescribed. One has to find out underlying cause. It may be that you had sex with an infected woman, stone urinary infection, obstruction, t. B. Or some congenital defect for which sonography would be very helpful.

1) maintain a regular sleep routine go to bed at the same time. Wake up at the same time. Ideally, your schedule will remain the same (+/- 20 minutes) every night of the week. A good sleep hygiene routine promotes healthy sleep and daytime alertness. 2) avoid sleeping during the daytime. It can disturb the normal pattern. 3) avoid caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol near bedtime. While alcohol may speed the onset of sleep, it creates problems in he second half of sleep. 4) exercise can promote good sleep. Exercise should be taken in the morning or late afternoon. Yoga, can be done before bed to help. 5) have a quiet, comfortable bedroom. Set your bedroom thermostat at a comfortable temperature. Generally, a little cooler is better than a little warmer. Turn off the tv and other extraneous noise that may disrupt sleep. Background'white noise' like a fan is ok. If your pets awaken you, keep them outside the bedroom. Your bedroom should be dark. Turn off bright lights. Have a comfortable mattress. 6) avoid heavy meals close to bedtime. 7) ensure adequate exposure to natural light. 8) avoid emotionally upsetting conversations and activities before trying to go to sleep. Do not think of, or bring your problems to bed. 9) stop using all your digital devices and stop looking at digital screens be it mobile phones or televisions at least 1 hour before the time you plan to sleep. Instead try reading a fiction book near bedtime so it makes you help relaxed and de-stressed. Sleep well live healthy and live longer. If you have tried all these and still have problems, please consult me for prescription medication. Please do urine routine test to see if you have a urinary infection, then show me the results.

Dear , firstly if you are not drinking enough water then also urine flow would be less so you must try to increase your water intake till urine almost watery white if that is not the case then you may have anal fissure due to passage of hard faces then other common problems would be infection and obstruction or stone. So get urine tested and then usg (kub) with full bladder volume, bladder wall thickness on full bladder and post-void residual urine measurement.

Can drinking water with lemon prevent kidney stones? Also, I have been told not to drink city water. What is the best water to drink?

1) Drink plenty of clean water.- Drinking at least four liters of water every day will not only help prevent kidney stones from forming, but also quickly eliminate any small stones that may have already formed. 2) Add fresh lemon, lime and apple cider vinegar to daily beverages. -Taking this a step further, adding fresh lemon or lime juice, or apple cider vinegar, to your beverages throughout the day will help alkalize your body, effectively blocking the formation of kidney stones. These alkalizing juices will also help quickly dissolve any existing stones that might be present in your kidneys, keeping them clean and stone-free. 3) Eat foods that are naturally high in calcium - Dietary calcium actually binds with calcium oxalate, the substance that makes up most kidney stones, and crystallizes and flushes it from the body before it has a chance to form into stones. The best foods in this category include leafy greens, cruciferous vegetables, nuts and seeds, and raw, grass-fed milk and butter 4) Supplement with magnesium citrate, B vitamins every day-, Be sure to eat plenty of magnesium-rich foods every day -- these include avocados, broccoli, raw cacao, beans, bananas, and lentils 5) Stick to a 'low oxalate' diet. - Eliminate high oxalate foods from your diet if you have a propensity for kidney stones. Such foods include black tea, grains, and certain nuts and vegetables.
