Hi. Let me you about hairfall. In layman's language, hairfall can be divided into 2 types - temporary hairfall and permanent which is called 'Hairloss' rather and leads to bald areas of smooth and shiny surface. In temporary hairfall, hair grows back again from the same hair root, but in case of permanent hairloss, because of formation of DHT (Di- Hydro -Testosterone) around hair root it gets choked up which subsequently affects the blood supply to the hair and thus hair root is lost forever. Many factors are responsible formation of this DHT or hairloss- hereditary, post-illness/ ailment, post-delivery, post- chemotherapy, nutritional deficiencies, hormaonal imbalance, insufficient sleep, sudden loss of weight, stress/ tensions/ excessive anger any other underlying diseases, etc. Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs, pulses, legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnut and almonds), iron-rich food like green vegetables, also take flaxseeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smooking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200/ twice a day for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica Hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, take Follihair tablets (multivitamin) - 1 tab. daily once for 1 month. (N.B.: With the help of homoeopathic medicines, we can only prevent further progress of the hairloss, means it will get arrests in the present condition in case of progressive baldness). Get your blood tested for (empty stomach) - CBC, S. Iron, S. Folic acid, S. Ferritin, S. Calcium, S. Vitamin D3, S. Vitamin B12. If there is any family history of Thyroid dysfunction, get Thyroid function test done as well.

keep your face dry, wash 4-5 time a day, apply retino-a cream at night and wash your face before sun rise as sun rays can darken your face. Vinegar is a natural exfoliate and you can use either apple cider or white vinegar to exfoliate your skin. Using clean pad, apply some vinegar on the face and rinse it off after five to 10 minutes with cool water. If your skin is sensitive, you can dilute the vinegar with water. You can also freeze the vinegar into cubes or chill it for a cooling effect. This treatment can help control oily skin and acne but you will need to use the vinegar consistently before bed for about two to three weeks for best results. Aloe vera We all know that Aloe Vera has various healing powers. This miracle plant is great for the skin and you can grow it naturally and then slice it to get the gel or purchase the gel from your nearest department store. Hair fall could be due to external or due to internal factors. Home remedies are only helpful in case of slight external hairfall, that getcaused due to wear n tear, sun, pollution and chemically treating your hair. But you have to understand whats your case. One thing you can start off is include alot of protein, antioxidant fruits, milk, alot of good rest, and eatables having alot of vitmain b. Also avoid chemically treatin your hair alot, and also put off the heating elements for curling or straighting your hair or whatever. Use less conditioner, use a good shampoo to give strength to your hair. Sometimes the hairfall is also due to your shampoo n conditioner, but we do not realise that we should try a diff shampoo or conditioner now. Hairfall could occur due to dandruff. Also understand that if you r suddenly hving a strong hairfall or is it for some time now. As every individual's hair go through a cycle, which is 3 years of hair growth (with very less hair fall) and 3 months of more hair fall. In such a case you have to have biotin tablet to normalise the hair cycle, and the course should be for about 5 -6 months. Do not go for any topical application and do not use any medicine which is for vitamin b complex, bcause if you will start intakin artifical b complex then your body will stop accepting the natural way of absorbing this compound, and the day you will stop the intake of this medicine your hair fall will begin. Also topical applications have the same effect. Consult a homeopath if you think you r having an excessive hair fall, but try the above mentioned first if you do not see much difference within a month then do consult a doctor.

Hello, take natrum mur 200, 3 drops morning empty stomach, single dose. Use this home remedy:- tomatoes are great for oily skin due to their cooling, clarifying and astringent properties. The high vitamin c content in tomatoes is very helpful for acne prone skin plus, the natural oil-absorbing acids in tomatoes help get rid of excess oil. *cut a tomato in half and rub it on your skin. Allow the juice to soak into your skin for at least 15 minutes. Rinse your skin with cold water, pat it dry and apply a light oil-free moisturizer. You can also make a face mask by combining three tablespoons of tomato juice with one tablespoon of honey.

Keep hair clean. Make sure that your scalp and hair are always clean. It will help your hair grow faster. Dirt clogs the hair follicles, which makes it more difficult for hair to grow. However, do not shampoo every day, as men’s hair get easily damaged, and excessive shampooing can dehydrate hair and cause breakage. Shampoo twice a week while cleanse hair with conditioner daily.

DEAR Lybrate USER. This problem is due to irritation and inadequate nutrition of the brain. So follow few basic things …. 1) take solid diet two times in a day and liquid diet two times in a day. 2) drink only 100-150 ml of lukewarm water during meals …. 3) don’t drink water one hour before meals and one hour after meal…4) avoid oily, spicy, salty, junk, fast, fermented and stale foods…. 5) avoid late night sleeping habits …. 6) do anuloma viloma pranayam regularly early in the morning. A) eat 5 gm of ajwain seeds along with 5 gm of jaggery after meals. B) take 60 ml of trifala juice along with 20 ml of honey early in the morning and at night before sleep. Do all these things for 15 days. It gives you good result.

Walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, dates, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) take proper 6-9 hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regularly massage head and hair with coconut oil, almond oil (depending upon your scalp type) 1 to 3 times a week. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you fit and young! medication: take homoeopathic medicines - schwabe's wiesbaden 200 & alfalfa tonic twice a day for 3 months. Use schwabe's arnica shampoo and hair growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use bakson's arnica hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Beside this, you can take one tablet of multivitamin folli hair once daily for 3 months.

Which all dry Fruits and fresh Fruits should I take during pregnancy 1st trimester. Also what all to eat and not eat. I also have thyroid and taking Thyronorm 100 after consultation with doctor to keep it below level 2. So anything to avoid in food so that it does not increase during pregnancy.

Hi Sandhya and Vivek, you should avoid pineapple and papaya in pregnancy. Rest of the fruit you can take. Have red coloured dry fruits like fig, almonds ,walnut, kismis. Please continue thyroid medicine. And repeat TSH levels after 1month.

I feel vigorous spin, not able to read properly. I showed to some doctors in Mumbai they have given me tab called vertin 16mg. Did mri it was clear. All reports are clear, then it was said that vertigo is disease. I feel nausea dizziness. Pls suggest some pill for getting rid of the same.

Since you are already using medicines for vertigo. I suggest you to go for vestibular labrynth exercises like dix hallpike etc. Your physiotherapist can teach you these exercises. But only certain types of vertigo respond to those type of exercises. Please consult a general physician to rule out any other problems.
