apply volini gel on neck. do warm fomentation. do neck muscle exercises when ever pain free. avoid high pillow. inform if not ok.

Firstly relax your calf muscle tk muscle relaxant medicine and heat fermentation and do calf stretching exercise. It it work then ok other wise tk physiotherapy tens and hot pack for 7 days after relief start strength exercise of legs best for you.

There are no. Of reasons behind this but most common is cervical spondylitis ( cause may be bad posture, Low back pain, bad siting habits Or old injury), It is curable , please consult a good physio, you need manipulative therapy and some postural exercises and you will get rid of it for ever.

You are starting to suffer from aamvaata or rheumatism. For this the main thing that you need to do is improve your digestion. If you are able to digest food properly & take light meals, then the progression of disease can be stopped.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You have mentioned backache as only problem. If you have only localized backache with no other associated symptoms like radiating leg pain, numbness, paresthesias etc, and no systemic symptoms like fever, loss of appetite, loss of weight etc, my advice to you for initial 2-3 weeks will be: - to maintain proper posture while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or even tab paracetamol which suits you - intensive physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application like dynapar qps spray can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will need to evaluate you further in form of dynamic x rays and if needed mri of your spine as your problem is a long standing one to look for any instability as a cause for pain and some blood investigations to rule out any deficiencies etc. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Back exercises. Many people go to physiotherapists with back pain. Here are two exercises that help to relieve pain and reduce stiffness in the back: •Dear, 1. Lie on your back with both of your legs straight. In this position, bring your left knee up close to your chest. Hold this position for 10 seconds. Return your leg to the straight position. Repeat with the right leg. •2. Stand up with your arms on your side. Bend to the left side while slowly sliding your left hand down your left leg. Come back up slowly and relax. Repeat with the right side of your body.

I am 60 years old I am having pain in the middle of the left feet when I stand for a long time and experinceing little numb in toes also having vericose problem. Dear lybrate user. A) take 30 ml of audumbaravleha along with 30 ml of lukewarm water early in the morning and at evening before meal half an hour. B) take 2-2 tablets of sheetprabha vati along with audumbaravleha. C) take 1 tsf of black cumin seeds and 1 tsf of jaggery after meals. Do all these things for 15 days. It gives you good result. Acne is a common problem and is usually treatable. You may need treatment for several months to clear spots. Inflamed acne needs to be treated early to prevent scarring. Acne is the common cause of spots. Most people with acne are aged between 12 and 25 but some older and younger people are affected. Acne usually affects the face but may also affect the back, neck and chest. About 8 in 10 teenagers develop some degree of acne. Often it is mild. However, it is estimated that about 3 in 10 teenagers have acne bad enough to need treatment to prevent scarring. Untreated acne usually lasts about 4-5 years before settling. However, it can last for many years in some cases. There are certain myths and wrongly held beliefs about acne: @ Acne is not caused by poor hygiene. In fact, excessive washing may make it worse. @ Stress does not cause acne. @ Acne is not just a simple skin infection. The cause is a complex interaction of changing hormones, sebum, overgrowth of normally harmless germs (bacteria), inflammation, etc . You cannot catch acne - it is not passed on through touching (contagious). @Acne cannot be cured by drinking lots of water. @There is no evidence to say that sunbathing or sunbeds will help to clear acne. @ Some people believe that acne cannot be helped by medical treatment. This is not true. Treatments usually work well if used correctly. Skin care required for people with acne: @Do not wash more than normal. Twice a day is normal for most people. Use a mild soap and lukewarm water. (Very hot or cold water may worsen acne.) Do not scrub hard when washing acne-affected skin. Do not use abrasive soaps, cleansing granules, astringents, or exfoliating agents. Use a soft washcloth and fingers instead. Excess washing and scrubbing may cause more inflammation and possibly make acne worse. @ Antiseptic washes may be beneficial. @ You cannot clean off blackheads. The black tip of a blackhead is actually skin pigment (melanin) and cannot be removed by cleaning or scrubbing. Homeopathic treatment is best for people with acne as it is mild and without any side effects. Now besides medicines, good soaps and facewash are available which doesn't harm skin and help removing acne spots. Pls consult via lybrate with details of your symptoms for treatment.

It is very common to have back pain after Delivery. Moving around may be just what your body needs. Exercises to strengthen your abdominal muscles and increase flexibility may be helpful too. Choose a gentle form of exercise, such as walking. Walking is safe to start almost immediately after Delivery.Take it slowly and keep walks short in the first few weeks. (Swimming, which helps strengthen your muscles without putting undue stress on your joints, is another good option later on.) Make pelvic tilts exercises a part of your daily routine. Do gentle stretching exercises or yoga. Avoid overstretching or extreme positions. Pay attention to your posture and stand up straight. Sit up straight, too. Think about your posture when feeding your baby, whether you're nursing or bottle-feeding. If you have low back pain, try using a footstool to keep your feet slightly raised off the floor. Choose a comfortable chair with armrests, and use lots of pillows to give extra support to your back and arms. Always bend from your knees and lift objects and children from a crouching position to minimize the stress on your back. Let someone else lift heavy objects – this isn't the time to risk throwing your back out. (If you've had a c-section, you shouldn't be lifting anything heavier than your baby for at least eight weeks.). Best wishes

Take rest for few days. Restart gradually build & up stamina. It could be OA/Obesity DO hot fomentation. Any way take Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS You will need other supportive medicines also. Contact me again if needed. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Foot exercises. Do the following exercises barefoot: •1. First write digits 1 to 10 using your toes raised up in the air. •2. Sit on a chair, raise your toes and curl them •3. Pick up a small piece of cloth off the floor using your toes. •4. Still in a sitting position, point your toes and circle your ankles in a slow counter and clockwise motion. •5. Stand up from the sitting position and go on tip toe for 5 seconds.
