I am 18 year old I have dark spots on face and pimple how to make clean may skin.

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
Homeopath, Hyderabad
The eruption of pimples, acne, black heads, dark spots, scars, pores and oily face are due to excessive sebum secreted by sebaceous glands and hair follicles especially on the face. Precautions- * Don't scratch or pinch your pimples. This will cause more damage---scars and black spots. * Avoid fried and oily foods. * Prefer fruits and green vegetables. * When you apply any cream, sun screen and the like, clean your face at the earliest, so that there will be no adverse action of the chemicals on the delicate skin of face. *Your skin ‘breaths’ through its pores which are not to be closed for long. Blocking pores by creams may cause more pimples. HOMOEOPATHIC medicines are taken internally. Hence, NO DIRECT CONTACT with your delicate and sensitive skin, thereby no problem of skin allergy. Homoeopathy has good treatment without causing adverse effects. The medicines work internally, tackle the root of the problem unlike face cream which is a surface treatment. Take Antim crd 200—once daily in the morning.

Good afternoon doctor! I want to know just about a dengue mosquitoes does it take birth in a cold (ice)& warm water?

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
Under optimal conditions, the egg of an Aedes mosquito can hatch into a larva in less than a day. The larva then takes about four days to develop into a pupa, from which an adult mosquito will emerge after two days. Three days after the mosquito has bitten a person and taken in blood, it will lay eggs, and the cycle begins again. Did you know? 1. Only the female Aedes mosquito bites as it needs the protein in blood to develop its eggs. 2. The mosquito becomes infective approximately seven days after it has bitten a person carrying the virus. This is the extrinsic incubation period, during which time the virus replicates in the mosquito and reaches the salivary glands. 3. Peak biting is at dawn and dusk. 4. The average lifespan of an Aedes mosquito in Nature is two weeks. 5. The mosquito can lay eggs about three times in its lifetime, and about 100 eggs are produced each time. 6. The eggs can lie dormant in dry conditions for up to about nine months, after which they can hatch if exposed to favourable conditions, i.e. water and food. it cannot take birth in a cold(ice)

Hypertension - Causes and Complication of Hypertension

MD - Internal Medicine, MBBS
Internal Medicine Specialist, Mumbai
Hypertension - Causes and Complication of Hypertension

High blood pressure or hypertension is a condition where the long term force induced by blood on the artery walls may lead to health complications. In some cases high blood pressure can be a chronic condition without any visible symptoms. The normal value of blood pressure is 120/80 mm Hg. Even if high blood pressure doesn't have any obvious symptoms, it can cause significant damage to cardiovascular health and blood vessels. Uncontrolled hypertension exposes you to the risks of stroke and cardiac arrest. Following are the causes and complications of hypertension:

Causes of hypertension

The causes of hypertension vary depending on the two types of the condition namely - primary hypertension and secondary hypertension. In case of primary hypertension there are hardly any identifiable causes. Secondary hypertension can occur due to the following causes:

  1. Certain medications like contraceptives, painkillers and some other drugs
  2. Sleep disorders
  3. Problems related to the kidney
  4. Tumors in the adrenal gland
  5. Thyroid issues
  6. Congenital heart defects from birth
  7. Drug abuse
  8. Excessive consumption of alcohol

Complications of hypertension

  1. Persistent high blood pressure can result in atherosclerosis - hardening of the arteries. This can severely wreck cardiovascular health and cause stroke, heart attack or other complications.
  2. Hypertension can also result in a disorder called aneurysm in which the blood vessels tend to swell and weaken. Rupture of an aneurysm can be fatal.
  3. Heart failure is one of the most serious complications associated with hypertension. It becomes increasingly difficult for the heart to pump blood along with the high pressure. Consequently the heart muscle thickens and leads to cardiac arrest.
  4. Hypertension can also lead to kidney problems. Narrowing and weakening of certain blood vessels present in the kidney can cause organ failure.
  5. It can also lead to eye problems and sometimes even loss of vision due to narrowing or thickening of blood vessels in the eye.
  6. Metabolic syndrome, which refers to a cluster of deficiencies in the metabolism of your body including high triglycerides, low levels of good cholesterol (High density lipoprotein) and high levels of insulin. These metabolic disorders increase the risk of developing diabetes and other complications.
  7. Uncontrolled high blood pressure and interference with your ability to remember and think. It can trigger memory loss and affect your understanding and deriving skills.

I have head heck problems. Wt can I do? Give me some tips. And also weakness. 2 hand and 2 legs pain some tym in weakness.

PGP In Diabetologist, Fellowship in non-invasive Cardiology, MD - Medicine, MBBS
Endocrinologist, Delhi
i think ,this problem of yours is related to your posture. try to sit straight as much as you can. See that your chair is supporting your back and neck while working. take your eyes off every 15 mins and look around. stretch your legs and hands every half an hour. Rotate your neck side and up and down (neck exercises). stand up and take five mins walk in the office every hour. small exercises like rotation of ankle and wrist, stretch outs every hour will help.try to keep your back straight supported by a good seating arrangement. You need to follow these routinely otherwise you will land up with cervical spondilytis in long run. If still pain persists can consult an orthopaedician for needful opinion and can go for physiotherapy. for weakness take diet rich in calcium and protein.

I want to know what body oil is good for skin dryness, skin tan. I stay in Pune and the climate is very dry.

MD
Yoga & Naturopathy Specialist, Delhi
Pune has climate like an airconditioned city. So do not blame pune climate. As far as oil is concerned all oils are good. Make sure that you take unrefined oil. For dry skin, buy a plastic brush with about 1" long flexible bristles. Such brushes re available at any plastic goods seller for 30 to 50 rs and are used for washing clothes. Rub your body during your bath when it is wet. Wash again. If you follow the advice dryness will go away in a few days time.

Thank you.

MBBS
General Physician, Trivandrum
You maybe suffering from allergic rhinitis and pharyngitis. You need to avoid the cause of your allergies and also take anti allergy medications. Please consult for prescription. If you have an infection and have fever you will need to do a course of antibiotics. For now do warm saline gargle and steam inhalation 3 times a day.
