Hi lybrate user, you have delivered prematurely and since baby is born with less weight she needs to be care with incubator and necessary management of arising complaints. Once she picks up weight and breaths normally she will be discharged. Meanwhile your milk can be sucked with breast pump and fed to baby.

Hi, Fever severity, duration and any associated symptoms are the main factors to consider. Better always maintain a temperature chart with you whenever your child gets fever. Use any digital thermometer to record the body temperature which is easily available everywhere. During fever spikes, record the temperature for every 4 hrs. If you child's temperature measured in armpit shows 99 deg F or more, then consult nearby child specialist.

Any medicine for constipation is temporary, the basic reason is lack of fiber in the diet. Give just 2 milk feeds plus 3-4 solid feeds, inclubing fibrous items, e. G dalia, cornflakes, salad, green leafy veg, fruits like cheeku, mango etc.

Constitutional Growth Delay.

Children with constitutional growth delay (CGD), the most common cause of short stature and pubertal delay, typically have retarded linear growth within the first 3 years of life. In this variant of normal growth, linear growth velocity and weight gain slows beginning as young as age 3-6 months, resulting in downward crossing of growth percentiles, which often continues until age 2-3 years. At that time, growth resumes at a normal rate, and these children grow either along the lower growth percentiles or beneath the curve but parallel to normal children.

At the expected time of puberty, the height of children with constitutional growth delay begins to drift further from the growth curve because of delay in the onset of the pubertal growth spurt. Catch-up growth, onset of puberty, and pubertal growth spurt occur later than average, resulting in normal adult stature and sexual development. Although constitutional growth delay is a variant of normal growth rather than a disorder, delays in growth and sexual development may contribute to psychological difficulties, warranting treatment for some individuals. Studies have suggested that referral bias is largely responsible for the impression that normal short stature per se is a cause of psycho-social problems; non referred children with short stature do not differ from those with more normal stature in school performance or socialization. A recent study determined that constitutional growth delay was the most common cause of short stature in children.

I am a newly mom but I am unable to feed my baby because I won't get milk in large quantity.

There r some galactogauges available like satavary, which you can take to increase the milk production. If the child is still not getting enough milk then you have to give him formula milk.

Hello, We all get exposed to the same environment, but all of us doesn't get affected by it! Why - because of different immune system. So, if a person has a strong immune system, we are protected from the attack of any virus or bacteria! A healthy, nutritious and balanced diet along with exercise will give you that. A healthy and strong immune system prevents us getting any diseases even a simple cough and cold. So, to build up a strong immunity, you need to alter few changes in your daily routine. If you don't have any underlying medical condition, you can follow the below points for healthy living. The diet plays an important role in making our immune system stronger: 1.Get enough protein. You can get protein from meat, dairy, eggs and vegetables. 2.Avoid saturated fats, but eat plenty of unsaturated fats. These "good fats" are found in corn, sesame, safflower, soybean, and cottonseed oils. 3.Eat limited amounts of carbohydrates. Consuming appropriate amounts of wheat, corn, and cereals helps to create the energy required for the body to produce white blood cells. 4.There are a number of particular foods that can help to boost-up your immunity. These include: Garlic, Almonds, Kale, Navy beans, Reishi mushrooms, Blueberries and raspberries, Yogurt, Green, Matcha, and Tulsi teas. 4.Eat antioxidants. Antioxidants are vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients that help repair damaged cells in the body. Examples of antioxidants are Beta Carotene (apricots, broccoli, beets, spinach, green peppers, tomatoes, corn, and carrots), Vitamins C ( berries, broccoli, nectarines, oranges, strawberries, bell peppers, tomatoes, and cauliflower) and E (broccoli, carrots, nuts, papaya, spinach, and sunflower seeds), Zinc (oysters, red meat, beans, nuts, and seafood), and Selenium. 5.Vitamin A is also an antioxidant, and helps your immune system to function more efficiently. In addition to supplements, you can get vitamin A from carrots, tomatoes, chilis, and squash. 6.Echinacea, ginseng, aloe vera, and green tea are all said to boost your white blood cell count. 7.Exercise regularly. Getting enough exercise improves your cardiovascular health, and greatly reduces the likelihood of certain chronic diseases.. Exercise increases the flow of blood through different parts of the body, and it increases the body's excretion of harmful metabolites, helping your immune system function properly. So run, bike, swim, walk -- whatever gets you moving! 8.Stop smoking and Limit alcohol consumption. 9.You should drink 8 glasses of water every day. 10.Sufficient deep sleep also helps the cells replenish and regenerate and is therefore necessary if you want to maintain a healthy immune system. Medication: Give him Schwabe’s Alpha-WD/ twice daily for 1month and Alpha-Coff and Alpha-NC - both thrice a day for 1 week.
