Before expecting results from medicines, you should check whether you are creating some obstacles in her feeding, like force feeding, excessive milk intake, excessive fruits intake.you have to control these factors before giving any medication

Recurrent fever could be because of low immunity which makes the child susceptible to recurrent infections. You should give him a diet rich in vitamins and minerals to build up his immunity. Include more green vegetables, fruits, nuts, dals etc on his diet. You can take homeopathic treatment to build up his immunity.

Sometimes this is a genetic disease, have to see and observe the child. Sometimes she will become normal if there is no grave deformity. Else there may be surgical correction though difficult. You can ask me privately for regular consultaion and guidance.

Hi, I breastfed my baby till she was 9months old, now she is 2yr 2months old and has never asked for breastfeed. I have noticed milk coming out from nipples off and on. please tell me possible reasons for it.

MD - Paediatrics, MBBS
Pediatrician, Delhi
It is very common to have milk being expressed out from the nipples even though you may not be breast feeding. We need to worry if there is engorgement or pain in the breast tissue.

I am 30 years old. I am having a baby of age 2 months old. I am breastfeeding her. But I am having a doubt that is my milk enough for my baby. How can I know that my milk is enough for my baby. Please suggest me the foods to be taken by me to increase breast milk.

MD - Paediatrics, MBBS, FISPN & FISPN - Pediatric Nephrology
Pediatrician, Delhi
This is the common concern all the first time mothers will have, and its really simple to understand. You should look for the following signs for the adequacy of breast milk: 1. You will feel lightness in your breast after feeding. 2. Baby is passing urine every 4 hours atleast. 3. Baby is gaining weight. Thats it. To increase breast milk only one thing helps at that is confidence in yourself. Have confidence that you gonna feed your baby. Be relaxed anxiety is the major cause of decrease in breast milk supply. So sit back and relax. All other things can weight but your baby can`t so for the first 6 months of life your baby is your priority. Just take one extra meal a day for baby nothing else is required and always eat what you like to eat not what other say.

1. How much useful/not useful goat milk (properly sterilised) for infants below 12 months of age? 2. What benefits of it to human life?

While cow's milk has about seventeen percent fatty acids, goat's milk averages thirty five percent fatty acids, making it more nutritionally wholesome. In fact, up to 50% of people with lactose intolerance to cow's milk find that they can easily digest goat's milk, especially if it is raw..The Benefits of Goat Milk Goat’s milk offers a wide variety of health benefits, with very few of the negative side effects of drinking regular cow milk. 1. Reaction to Inflammation Some research suggests that one of the main benefits of goat milk is that it may benefit inflammation. Another reason why it is easier for people with bowel inflammation to drink goat’s milk, instead of cow’s milk..2. Environmentally Friendly Goats requires far less space and food than cows. Typically, you can comfortably raise six goats on the same acreage as two cows. 3. Metabolic agent Studies done at the USDA and Prairie View A&M University, link goat’s milk to an increased ability to metabolize iron and copper, especially amongst individuals with digestion and absorption limitations. Besides drinking goat’s milk, you can also take a digestive enzymes supplement to help with this also. 4. Bio-availability Another main health benefit of goat milk, is that it is closer to human mother’s milk than cow’s milk is. Because it has a chemical make up that is much closer to human milk, it is easier to digest and assimilate in the human body

You van give the missed dose Birth HepB: Hepatitis B vaccine; ideally, the first dose is given at birth, but kids not previously immunized can get it at any age. 1–2 months HepB: Second dose should be administered 1 to 2 months after the first dose. 2 months DTaP: Diphtheria, tetanus, and acellular pertussis vaccine Hib: Haemophilus influenzae type b vaccine IPV: Inactivated poliovirus vaccine PCV: Pneumococcal conjugate vaccine RV: Rotavirus vaccine 4 months DTaP Hib IPV PCV RV 6 months DTaP Hib: This third dose may be needed, depending on the brand of vaccine used in previous Hib immunizations. PCV RV: This third dose may be needed, depending on the brand of vaccine used in previous RV immunizations. 6 months and annually Influenza (Flu): The flu vaccine is recommended every year for children 6 months and older: Kids younger than 9 who get the flu vaccine for the first time (or who have only had one dose before July 2016) will get it in two separate doses at least a month apart. Those younger than 9 who have had at least two doses of flu vaccine previously (in the same or different seasons) will only need one dose. Kids older than 9 only need one dose. The vaccine is given by injection with a needle (the flu shot). The nasal spray form that was available in the past is not currently recommended because it was not found to be effective enough in recent years. 6–18 months HepB IPV.
