Our suggestion would be to do hot water fermentation along with Cold (ice) therapy. You shall also keep a pillow under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes. If you have leg pain then you have to rule out the casues for having leg pain. First of all check your weight and your haemoglobin levels, as Anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having leg pain though there are no issues with the knee joint or back pain. Since you met with an accident probably you would've had blood loss and also you must be having mineral or calcium deficiency that is one reason to feel very rigid or stiff in that area. Hot water fermentation that would help to reduce the muscle strain. Keep ice in the area where you have pain/or where the muscle is injured.

My knee joint gap has reduced considerably. My both knees pain. In 2011 i use to play badminton on cemented courts for long as a result both the knee swell up. On exam it turned out that it was due to sinovial fluid discharge. I was advised rest and glucosamine. After sometime i started yoga and now swelling has totally gone however i have trouble walking, climbing stairs, i can not play any game at all. Are there any knee joint rejuvenation therapy, i am fond of jogging and playing games. Can i use any kind of knee support and play badminton.

Dear, According to Ayurveda joint pain is known as Sandhigata vata. With increase in age vata dosha is predominant in human body that is why with aging disease caused by vata dosha increases in body. Joint pain is a common symptom with many possible causes. Joint Pain and Arthritis are the one of the most devastating conditions faced by individuals, particularly elderly women today. When there is pure Vata dosha involvement (a pain without swelling or discoloration) then the massage with medicated ayurvedic oil is quite useful & supplement is helpful in balancing bodily humors ?vata, which is responsible dosha for Sandhigata vata . Rheumatoid Arthritis And Its Symptoms!

Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic disorder in which the small joints of the hands and feet of the affected person get inflamed. It affects the lining of the joints and causes pain and swelling that may lead to joint deformity and erosion if left untreated.

This disorder of the autoimmunological system occurs when the body's immune system attacks the body's own tissues.

Although this medical condition usually causes joint problems only, sometimes it may go on to affect other body organs like skin, lungs, eyes and blood vessels as well.

Some of the signs and symptoms that are indicative of rheumatoid arthritis are:

1. Problems in the joints

One of the most common symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis is swelling of the joints that become tender and painful. During the early days, only the smaller joints are affected, especially the finger and toe joints. However as the disease worsens, the symptoms spread to other body parts like knees, wrists, elbows, ankles etc. Joint redness and warmth are also characteristic features of rheumatoid arthritis. It is also recognized by joint deformity and stiff joints.

2. Fever, fatigue and loss of weight

Fatigue is a common symptom of rheumatoid arthritis. It may be a result of the body's reaction to insomnia, anemia, and inflammation. It may also be caused due to loss of appetite and the consequent and unintended weight loss. Sometimes rheumatoid arthritis is also accompanied by fever.

3. Rheumatoid nodules

Another symptom of rheumatoid arthritis is the presence of firm bumps of tissues under the skin on the arms. These bumps are known as rheumatoid nodules and may be painful. The nodules may come and go depending on the severity of the disease at a particular time. During flares, they may appear, and they may subside during the periods of remission just as all the other symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult an orthopedist.

I am psoriatic arthritis patients. Suffering from past 8 yrs. I am on lefno (10 mg) and saaz (1 mg) and I have experienced small red spots on my hands and face is it the side effects of these tablets or should I need to consult a dermatologist.

Very difficult to say its drugs, unlikely because of such long-term use. Usually, these drugs cause rashes at the start. Would be better to show dermatologist who can think of alternative rather than blaming drugs, which is very easy to do and stop. But before stopping drugs please consult your rheumatologist too. Best wishes.
