There can be many reasons for your weight gain. It can be hormone imbalance, low metabolism, disordered eating, sedentary lifestyle, genetics. To maintain a low body fat and/or lower body fat: 1. Exercise at least 5 times per week 2. Eat whole/unprocessed foods at regular intervals, while being aware of physical hunger/fullness cues 3. Sleep 7-9 hours per night 4. Don’t engage in extreme diets 5. Stay consistent with your habits 6. Incorporate non-exercise physical activity 7. Ignore food advertising You need a fat loss diet which comprises of whole grains like jowar, bajra, wheat, brown rice, pulses like moong, musoor, bengal gram, lots of vegetables, fruits, eggs, fish, chicken, paneer, healthy oil, nuts and seeds. You need to eat them in right proportion. Avoid eating sugar and sweets, refined foods like maida, noodles pasta, White rice and products, bread. Drink a lot of water.

You eat a lot but did you digest it. The basic problem in weight gain is indigestion and not proper absorption of food. Ayurvedic medicine checks indigestion, increase absorption hence resulting in weight gain.

Dear lybrate user do not worry about being lean! you can gain the weight very easily with the diet and homoepathy medicine without any side effects. 1. Eat chicken without much fat 2. Take a egg daily 3. Take more milk and milk products like butter, curd, cheese, panner 4. Take more protein like soya beans, pulses, cereals 5. Eat more fruits and vegetables 6. Hye, Thanks for the query. Weakness is usually due to poor nutrition and deficiency of certain nutrients due to poor eating habits. It is important to know that just eating two heavy meals a day will not fulfill your nutrient needs. Most often we skip meals especially when at work or in college. We start our day on empty stomach but our work or stress or activity is never reduced. This causes weakness and lack of energy levels. Food is our source of energy and if you don't eat well as per your needs you are going to get deficient in many nutrients. So, start by eating the right foods at the right time. Eat meals at frequent intervals. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy, eggs, nuts, fruits in your meals. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Sleep well.    Exercise at least thrice a week.

1. Protein is the key for the muscle building. Without adequate protein, muscle gain and growth is not possible because weight training demands for amino acids (which comes from protein). You should daily eat about 2.2g of protein per kilogram of your weight. For example, if you are 50kg, then you should eat 50x2.2=111g of protein spread over 5-6 meals in the day. Include high protein foods in your diet. Your protein intake should be from foods rather than from supplements. Good protein foods: beans, soybeans, whey, fish, dairy products (low fat variety), meats, nuts and seeds (almonds, peanuts, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds), peanut butter. Many of these are easy digestible foods. Milk is one of the best muscle foods. The milk contains two high quality proteins, about 80 percent whey and 20 percent casein. Whey is quickly broken down into amino acids and absorbed into the bloodstream. Whey is very good to consume after workout. Casein is digested more slowly and provides the body with a steady supply of protein for a longer period of time. Cheese is concentrated milk, so it is high in protein and calcium, fat and cholesterol. Include healthy skim yogurt in your diet, which can give you as much as 120 calories. 2. Eat custard apple (saripa, sitaphal) to put on some weight. This fruit is high in calorie. 3. Healthy fats: avoid fatty foods. Most mothers, especially in india give too much ghee or butter to their children, thinking they will put flesh fast. But ghee is mostly saturated fat which is not a healthy fat for any body. Healthy fats are monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats and omega-3 fatty acids. Good fats: cold pressed oils (olive, sunflower, linseed, canola). 4. Drink pure fruit juice. It is full of sugar and added nutrients so it is a healthy and nutritious way to gain some pounds. 5. Complex carbohydrates are also needed for gaining weight. Corn bread is also full of carbohydrates, one piece gives approximately 328 calories. Potatoes are rich sources of carbohydrates and complex sugars, eat baked or as grilled potatoes. Pasta is a calorie rich cereal carbohydrates. 6. Eat bananas. These are rich in carbs and nutritious, one banana contains approximately 100 calories. 7. Some people think that drinking beer helps, but it is not true, it accumulates in your abdomen, making it fatty. 8. Don't take protein supplements for gaining muscles. Consult your doctor for protein supplements. 9. Non vegetarian foods some of the non-vegetarian foods that help increase weight are given below: 1. Red meat lean ground beef, lean steaks. 2. Pork, ham, lamb 3. Fish: eat two portions of salmon, cod, or tuna every day. 4. Shrimps: the nutrients and necessary acid content present in shrimps gives healthy calories. 5. Turkey 6. Chicken breast chicken breast, is supposed to be the healthiest and non-fat part which has approximately 78 calories for each serving. 7. Whole eggs: eggs are loaded with protein, vitamins a, d and e.--

You take high calorie n high protein diet. Don't skip breakfast. With breakfast you drink 1 glass of milk n 2 anjeer n 2 almonds. Take 4-5 meals in a day in frequent intervals.

Hello. Weakness can be due to deficiency. May be you are not taking enough calories or protein or vitamins in diet. Eat healthy diet including all green leafy veges, fresh fruits, protein rich diet, milk and milk products, nuts, lots of water, soya food. Hello lybrate-user, Please start eating the following you will be alright. 1. Bananas Bananas contain natural sugars like glucose, sucrose and fructose that give you a quick energy boost up. Bananas have high amount of potassium that converts sugar into energy. Whenever you feel weak, eat one or two bananas. You can also try banana shake or smoothie. 2. Milk Milk is a rich source of vitamin B that reduces weakness. It is also a good source of calcium that keeps your bones strong. Whenever you feel lethargic, drink a cup of warm milk with one teaspoon of honey in it. Alternatively, you can also add 1 teaspoon of licorice powder in warm milk. Drink it two times in a day. Note – Consult your doctor before taking licorice, on a regular basis, as it may increase blood pressure in some people. 3. Strawberries Intake in form of juice, or eat plain or combine with other fruits, strawberries provide you with huge energetic. It enhances immunity and repair tissues of the body. 4. Almonds Almonds are packed with vitamin E and magnesium that makes you feel energetic. These dried fruits convert fat, protein, and carbohydrate into energy.
