My mother is suffering from pain in her arm. Initially it was at her elbow now it has also shifted a little downwards to her forearm. She feels pain while doing regular household chores like dusting, wrenching clothes, opening tightly packed boxes etc. She says the pain is something that we feel like after going to gym after a long time. Orthopaedist from our city says the pain will be cured automatically in a few days and gave some useless medicines. There is no relief yet. Please suggest something. Should I take her to some big city for treatment? Is there any treatment I can get her here?

Hi lybrate-user, To stop hair fall use triphla powder mixed with curd apply on your scalp, at least thrice a week. Second you can use either onion juice or fenugreek paste on your scalp, start taking saptamrit lauh 2 tab bd with water after meal. Maha bhringraj oil for external use massage on your scalp with the help of finger tips. Leave it for over night. Include at least 50 gm paneer daily in your diet drink plenty amount of water at least 10--12 glasses per day. Last but not the least check your thyroid profile as it may be the reason of hair fall. Commonest cause of heavy bleeding when on pills is to take it erratically and stop it suddenly. If thats the case she needs to reduce the flow by taking a non hormonal tablet like pause MF and then re start pills from first, second or fifth day of periods depending on the pill she is taking

Hi, Please follow these home remedies to cure constipation: - Eat a big bowl of papaya daily before or after food. - Soak dry fig in water overnight and eat it in the morning every day. - Add 2tsf of lemon juice and a pinch of salt to a glass of hot water and drink it on empty stomach in the morning. - Eat one medium sized raw potato along with its peel daily. - Include lot of vegeables like cucumber, carrot, onion,beetroot, ladies finger,radish, snakegourd, beans, etc, both cooked and raw , in your diet. - Add 1tsf of pure ghee to a glass of hot milk and drink it at bed time.

You had dengue a month ago. May be your food pipe is still weak. Eat nourishing but non bulky diet like diluted milk and curds, less fats and spices and soft vegetables and fruits. If worried about heart, do get checked for ecg, echo, stress test if you can tolerate it, cbc (reassure you about platelets, total counts, infections and anemia) blood sugar. Get back here with reports.

Don’t worry. You can lose weight easily if you are patient and determined to shed those extra kilos. You just have to alter your daily routine, watch what you eat and be physically active. This requires you to be on your weight loss commitment for quiet long. As soon as you start seeing the results, you will be surprised as well as motivated to go beyond your weight loss and adopt and a lifelong healthy attitude. For a start please follow: 1.Watch what you eat – Are you eating too much junk, drink excessive alcohol and eating too much white food and sugar? Please cut it down to as low as you can from tomorrow. Cut down tea/coffee if you are too addicted to it. It is creating havoc inside your body. 2.Lifestyle – Are you a late sleeper and late riser? You can’t imagine what this schedule of yours is doing to your metabolism. It is degrading your digestive system from inside and your looks from outside. 3.Physically active – If you are a couch potato who loves to watch tv whole day then throw that couch of yours in the street and get yourself a treadmill tomorrow. Yes it is as simple as that. Who is stopping you? You have to be physically active all day long if you want to burn those extra calories. Do daily brisk walk, Pranayam, atleast 20 surayanamaskar everyday to start seeing the results. Take break between office work to walk a little or rather just climb some stairs to get that food you ate in lunch have space and heat to digest and absorb. What’s the harm in using your washroom to do a little middle of the day squats. Do that – No one is watching you. The key is to stay physically active all day long, no matter what. 4.Eat healthy and eat on time: Not only eating healthy is important but eating at right time is equally imp too. Have an early breakfast and early dinner and have 4 small meals between breakfast and dinner. To guide you a bit, here you go: A.Breakfast (Between 8-10 a. M) – Have oats/porridge or brown bread with milk and nuts. B.At 11 a. M - Cup of Green Tea c.Mid day meal (around 12 p. M) – Have a bowl of fruits. Citrus fruits are best taken during this hour and absorb well in the body. Have oranges, amla, pineapple etc during this hour. D.Lunch (between 2-3 p. M) – Daal, roti, mix veg, buttermilk and salad. You can also take brown rice with daal in lunch. Try to get your food cooked in olive oil. Lace your salad with apple cider vinegar, black pepper and seeds like flaxseeds or chia seeds to make it nutrition packed lunch. E.Between 4 p. M – 5 p. M – Cup of Green Tea F.Evening (4-6 p. M) – Have some nice sprouts with tomatoes and cucumber. G.Dinner (2 hours before sleeping, preferably before 9 p. M) – Paneer & veggies salad with olive oil, Roti or brown rice with Daal. H.Have a glass of warm milk. Weight loss is 80% about what you eat and 20% about exercises. That said, both the things go hand in hand. If you want to lose weight in a more healthy way than be patient and just follow the regimen everyday. Slow and steady wins the race.

Each ejaculate takes away some of the bio-energy from within the body, which can bring on several health problems after a prolonged period of time. You have been masturbating once a day, there is no problem. Your reproductive system is good for more than 50 years of active sex life. The limit in a period of 24 hours is when you do more than once and you do not get any ejaculation, that is when you have crossed the limit. Normally if a male indulges in masturbation say once in 2 or 3 days that is considered okay. 1. Empty your bladder often. A full bladder may lead to sexual stimulation. 2. I understood your problem. Loosing close inmate will defntly show impact on mind& health. I do not say that forgetting is easy, but trying or deviating from those thoughts is easy, if you practice few methods like getting engaging in your favourite hobbies, conducting or attending work shops related to your interested feilds, reading, playing, working more hrs etc. Whenever you feel like depressed, you try to deviate with the other methods, watch movie, travel, chat, work. But do not let urself alone, which will aggravate your problem & moreover in this situation, spending time lonely will show deep impact on your mental/physical status. Practice meditation, pranayama, breathing techniques which will be taught in art of living etc, spiritual lessons, will help you feeling relaxed defntly. Remember that for evry problem, time is the best healer. In homeo, try to take ignatia medicine in 1m potency weekly one dose[6-8 pills] for 1 month.

Hello apply prasarini oil or pranacharya restopain oil on your affected part and give hot water fomentation .take yograj guggul and agni tundi vati after lunch and dinner with warm water. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. Take pranacharya vatari capsule and syrup twice a day. Avoid fermented food. Junk food.

Am I suffering with depression? Couple of months I quit my good paying job and started own start-up. Things didn't go as planned, now I'm jobless with an about to fail start-up. I'm having issues in facing people, talking to others over phone, taking basic decisions and I want to sleep all the time, scared to get out of bed in morning, keep thinking about worst things that can happen in world. Is it symptom of depression or just a phase of anxiety?

It is more a sign of depression. The lethargy, reneging from taking decisions and withdrawal are typical symptoms of this condition. Anyone who focuses too much into the future is bound to get scared. Although your future looks bleak, it is not like it is the end of the road. You are still young and you have not lost your ability or qualification to venture into another start-up; or you could just go back to working with whomever or whatever you were doing before, without a hitch. Don?t let pride come into the picture. There are too many great people who have failed repeatedly and became a success because of those setbacks. Here?s something to motivate you, ?I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed? Michael Jordan. When you know something is definitely not working, cut your losses and review the failure to learn the lessons it has to teach and go forward into a viable venture, wiser and more prudent. Stop brooding over your loss, get up and face the day with a good round of exercise everyday and become an action man. Passivity is criminal in my books and should be in yours too: Do something, even if it is wrong! If the depression colludes with anxiety, it will cripple you in your very first setback. You are probably going to meet many drawbacks in life but you must pick yourself up and beat the hell out of new opportunities that accompany every failure. Get up and do things differently. The name you give your condition is not at all important, it is the motivation you get from the challenge that your future is going to be glorified.

-u had not mentioned how pain started and whats aggrevating his condition. Go for contrast bath fir 2 3 times daily × 5 days followed by voilini. Precautions: 1 avoid lifting weight 2 avoid jerky mov 3 avoid bending of neck 4 maintain erect posture, if using bike avoid it. If pain still persist call physio for us, ift, execises to strengthen muscles.

you have used the required medication for the common condition, along with them you can use any antihistaminic, orally twice daily for 10 days. you didn't tell for how many days you have used the above medicines and are you still continuing them or stopped? if you can give some more details we will be able to advise you better. for that you need to come in private consult for a proper interaction and prescription. meanwhile keep the area dry by applying talcum powder during the day time and pay attention in keeping the area clean by drying the area with clean cloth after passing urine, wash the area with water and dry the area. you can apply ointment in the night. even if its itching do not scratch with finger nails. use your palm if the urge is high. good luck

Blackouts may be due to low bp or hypoglycemia. So my advice to you to take proper diet dont remain empty stomach for long hours specially in the morning time to avoid these symptoms. Get yourself screened up for low bp. Thanks for asking.
