In this case there is no need of medicine. It is curable. Your loneliness is the main problem. You are thinking too much about the past incidents. You are not shared this feelings to others because of that reason you are thinking necessarily. Please share this feelings with your friends and family members. Do not be alone. Be friendly with others. Be sociable. Better to develop positive thoughts. Do not think about negative aspects. Feel always comfortable and be happy always. Best of luck. Ok.

Facial hair growth in male should be properly evaluated it may be a sign of some hormonal problem sometimes genetically the hair growth is less. If other symptoms are associated we have to rule out if they are associated with your complaint then it may indicate hormonal causes

Dear, follow methods by which you can gain your desired height. 1. Follow these exercises regularly and you get the goal of height gain: * first stand straight bare foot on floor, then raise your arms upwards then raise your heels of foot with breathing in, try to stand on heels for 10-12 seconds and slowlylower down your heels back on the floor and breath outthe air. Repeat this exercise 5-8 times in morning. *sit on the floor, stretch you legs together so that both foot touch each other. Now raise your arms upwards together with back straight, now move your hands towardstoes of feet and touch them. Your forehead touching your knees. Slowly revert back the arms and move back arms in normal position. Repeat this exercise 2-4 times daily. 2. Take 300 ml of rich cream milk, 200 gm of cheese and 2-3 eggs regularly. It will definitely give boost to your bone growth. 3. Sit in sun rays for atleast 8-10 minutes in morning of evenings when the sun rays are not so strong. It will help you by getting adequate quantity of vitamin-d. 4. The growth and height iscontrolled by growth hormone whichis secreted by pituitary gland situated in the brain. So take meditation and have a stressfree lifestyle. Take 6-8 hours of sleep daily. Meditation makes your pituitatry gland healthy and working properly. 5. Weight Gain Diet It is not a good idea of Increasing intake of junk foods and fatty foods to gain weight. You should be eating calorie dense yet nutritious food. Your calorie intake should come from foods that are healthy for you. The weight gaining diet should include high protein foods, high carbohydrate foods and healthy fats. Include these in your diet. Breakfast: Banana and milk or banana shake or smoothie, whole-grain toast, fruits, nuts. Eat more fruit and drink less juice. Do not take milk mixed with ghee . It is not healthy. Lunch: Roti or chapatti or wholegrain bread, rice, green vegetables, paneer, dal, chole recipe, black-eyed beans (lobia), rajma, whole wheat pudding (dalia), etc Dinner: Similar to lunch In-between meals:: fruit, sandwich, yogurt (curd), milk, cheese, salad Avoid deep fried snacks like samosa (samosa recipe), pakodas, bhujia etc. Avoid fast foods including donut. Following is a list of weight gain foods. 1. Protein is the key for the muscle building. Without adequate protein, muscle gain and growth is not possible because weight training demands for amino acids (which comes from protein). You should daily eat about 2.2g of protein per kilogram of your weight. For example, if you are 50kg , then you should eat 50x2.2=111g of protein spread over 5-6 meals in the day. Include high protein foods in your diet. Your protein intake should be from foods rather than from supplements. Good protein foods: beans, soybeans, whey, fish, dairy products (low fat variety), meats, nuts and seeds (almonds, peanuts, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds), peanut butter. Many of these are easy digestible foods. Milk is one of the best muscle foods. The milk contains two high quality proteins, about 80 percent whey and 20 percent casein. Whey is quickly broken down into amino acids and absorbed into the bloodstream. Whey is very good to consume after workout. Casein is digested more slowly and provides the body with a steady supply of protein for a longer period of time. Cheese is concentrated milk, so it is high in protein and calcium, fat and cholesterol. Include healthy skim yogurt in your diet, which can give you as much as 120 calories. 2. Eat custard apple (Saripa, Sitaphal) to put on some weight. This fruit is high in calorie. 3. Healthy fats: Avoid fatty foods. Most mothers, especially in India give too much ghee or butter to their children, thinking they will put flesh fast. But ghee is mostly saturated fat which is not a healthy fat for any body. Healthy fats are monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats and omega-3 fatty acids. Good fats: cold pressed oils (olive, sunflower, linseed, canola ). 4. Drink pure fruit juice. It is full of sugar and added nutrients so it is a healthy and nutritious way to gain some pounds. 5. Complex carbohydrates are also needed for gaining weight.. Corn bread is also full of carbohydrates, one piece gives approximately 328 calories. Potatoes are rich sources of carbohydrates and complex sugars, eat baked or as grilled potatoes. Pasta is a calorie rich cereal carbohydrates. 6. Eat bananas. These are rich in carbs and nutritious, one banana contains approximately 100 calories. 7. Some people think that drinking beer helps, but it is not true, it accumulates in your abdomen, making it fatty. 8. Don't take protein supplements for gaining muscles. Consult your doctor for protein supplements. 9. Non Vegetarian Foods Some of the non-vegetarian foods that help increase weight are given below: 1. Red Meat lean ground beef, lean steaks. 2. Pork, ham, lamb 3. Fish: Eat two portions of salmon, cod, or tuna every day. 4. Shrimps: The nutrients and necessary acid content present in shrimps gives healthy calories. 5. Turkey 6. Chicken breast Chicken breast, is supposed to be the healthiest and non-fat part which has approximately 78 calories for each serving. 7. Whole eggs: Eggs are loaded with protein, vitamins A,D and E.

Diabetes - We Need More Help To Combat This Epidemic!

Diabetes - We Need More Help To Combat This Epidemic!

If you are reading this, you are amongst the many who are suffering personally or trying to help another overcome the burden of this silent, epidemic killer of modern era.

Statistics given by International Diabetic Federation declares 415 million diabetics today and an estimate of 642 million diabetics by 2040 world-wide. Picking up older records, WHO has published that “the number of people with diabetes has risen from 108 million in 1980 to 422 million in 2014. The global prevalence of diabetes among adults over 18 years of age has risen from 4.7% in 1980 to 8.5% in 2014. Diabetes prevalence has been rising more rapidly in middle- and low-income countries

This clearly indicates that actually, in-spite of all the miracle medicines and dietary restrictions put on Diabetics; the prevalence continues and the numbers are still growing. Where are we going wrong?? What are we doing less to curtail this epidemic??

Ayurveda, the “Science of life” has a different way of looking at the patient. Rather than treat his/her symptoms, the Ayurvedacharys will try to evaluate the triggers of the disorder or disease and correct them, with natural products are used traditionally, sometimes with the help of natural herbs, potentized with different processes making them into medicines.

Let us evaluate the triggers: According to Ayurveda, the trigger and body response determines (early diabetes) Prameha; and if not kept under control, can lead to Madhumeha (Diabetes Melitus). The classifications are based on the variations or mismanagement of Vata, Pitta, or Kapha- the 3 major humors of the body. The mismanagement a result of lifestyle, stress, age, toxicity and poor immunity.

So what happens when a person is declared diabetic?

The body functions on the foods consumed, the nutrition derived and the ease with which it is transformed into the correct form of energy required for the cells, tissues, organs and different metabolic processes of the body. THIS FUEL IS GLUCOSE-SUGAR. So sugar is an essential component in every activity in the body. Insulin (produced by pancreas under mental/brain stimulus) triggers the process of activating cellular function to absorb this glucose fuel to be converted into energy in the presence of pancreas hormone – insulin.

Diabetes condition prevails when the inherent normal process of (sugar) glucose to energy cycle is disrupted either because there is a problem in insulin quality and quantity or the cells resist absorbing insulin. If this conversion system is disturbed or not available for balanced cellular function and maintenance, “catabolism” or breakdown of protein synthesis leads to muscle loss, energy loss, accumulation of internal toxins. Incorrect kind of insulin leads to incorrect kind of cellular fuel.  The cellular chemical factory, the “Mitochondria” and ATP (energy molecule) are affected leading to excess toxin build up.

The build-up of these acidic toxins including Ketoacidosis (acids from breakdown of fats as alternate fuel), become the trigger for the various symptoms of diabetes that includes weakness, loss of weight, inflammation, skin reactions/darkening, inability to recover from injury, eventual loss of internal recovery and rejuvenation.

All these are supported or triggered by hormones that greatly depend on the mental stimulus. And mental stimulus is a STRESS response. Stress to mental thoughts, stress to digest proper food, stress to protect from incorrect lifestyle habits, stress to combat self-inflicted (alcohol and tobacco) and external pollution, stress of competition, stress of emotional burdens, stress of forced im-mobility (sedentary life).

Unfortunately, by the time a person is declared diabetic, the derogatory response within the body has set in and cannot be reversed….. but… it can be kept under control and the symptoms can be reversed.

Techniques that will work for controlling Diabetes:

  1. Change of lifestyle: these include stress management techniques that are designed to evaluate the trigger and help patient slowly and surely make changes in MIND- BODY together.
  2. Remove or reduce the pollutions in and around the person. Detoxification is of paramount importance and building the immunity to fight disorder. This can be achieved with natural detox systems. Chemical/drug based detox will create a different kind of toxicity in the body. Detox is ideally achieved by cleaning the digestive track first, and then detox of the blood, other body fluids with proper diet.
  3. Build immunity with Mind control, food control and natural foods that are designed in nature to improve immunity responses.
  4. Consume the sugar-glucose in the body with adequate physical exercise.
  5. Proper rest; as he body rejuvenated when in deep sleep.
  6. Ideal food intake should comprise of natural, fresh and local foods to nurture the body and help maintain the genetically/customary natural food to fuel, and improve detoxification cycles.
  7. NO FOOD IS GOOD OR BAD: ALL DEPENDS ON HOW WELL YOU CAN DIGEST, CONVERT FOOD-FUEL AND ELIMINATE TOXINS

And most important

  1. Change Mind, Emotional and thinking patterns to POSITIVE thinking and continuous mental peace.

Ayurveda and Yoga are the best options to achieve all these. These respect balance and harmony, as they follow natural science; uses the natural harmony of Nature to heal and the treatment is based on the personal needs of the patient.

In modern times, based on statistical data from the world, it is not medicines that will make a change, but the manner in which we can deal with the pressures of modern lifestyle, mind patterns and internal immunity that will save us from the vagaries of epidemics like diabetes.

Integrating various healthcare facilities like Aahar (foods we consume: diet and thoughts we think); Viihar (lifestyle: our habits and ideologies); Vichar (mental responses and immunity powers to changes); Vyayama (adequate flexibility and health of physical body) and Aaushadhi (medicines as are required, both in type/quality and quantity).

Consult your Ayurvedic doctor to plan the best combination of treatment for you: both, to prevent diabetes and to help overcome the vagaries of diabetes.

Hi lybrate-user never take supplements, they are slow poison which will harm your body, television ads and gym coaches will never tell you the side effects because they want profits. To gain weight firstly start doing surya namaskar in morning, secondly start doing prithvi mudra with your fingers for 20 minutes, do this for 20 minutes. Buy shilajit satt from patanjali store put 2 drops in hot milk and eat with 2 bananas everydayin morning. Eat lots of almonds, paneer, 2 figs, green seasonal vegetables and drink atleast 3 to 4 liters of water everyday but make sure you drink no water after eating your meals, give a gap of 90 minutes. Thanks.
