Menstrual cycle may be irregular due to psychological reason, sudden change of atmosphere, disturbance in hormonal levels. Hemoglobin level also affect menses. Thyroid dysfunction may be the cause.

Hi here are 6 ways to gain weight healthily: 1. Eating 5 to 6 meals a day in order to gain weight, start eating 5-6 meals a day by breaking them into parts. Eating a lot at once may cause indigestion if the body fails to absorb all nutrients. Eat in small amounts, even if you are not hungry and there will be an increase in appetite from day to day. The aim should be to have a generously portioned breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as two to three snacks in between. 2. Start weight training if you build your muscles through weight training, it will convert the extra weight into lean body mass and also stimulate your appetite. The extra muscle increases the rate of metabolism. When you start exercising you will often experience extreme muscle soreness but it goes away in 3-5 days. 3. Load up on protein besides weight training, a protein-rich diet can help you gain mass. Eating a meal heavy in protein shortly after finishing exercise can be highly effective in adding extra pounds to your body. However, a diet focused only on lean protein is not helpful. It is important to make sure that your diet has plenty of fat in it. Eat foods rich in protein like cheese, meat, eggs, etc to gain weight in a healthy manner. 4. Workout your entire body a lot of people focus only on training the muscles on their arms, chest and shoulders and this is a grave error. Firstly, it will give you a disproportionate body; and it will make you prone to injuries. Therefore, it's important to work out the entire body for a complete and balanced look. 5. Drink your calories to reach the calorie requirement only by eating may be tough. Drinking milk, milkshakes or protein shakes with little or no sugar can be an effective way to load up on the calorie requirements. 6. Be patient and believe in yourself gaining weight quickly in a healthy manner is unrealistic. Every body type is different and it takes months to gain weight. Living healthy by eating the right diet will increase your strength. It is also important to keep following the routine even if you don't see any gains. Caution: junk food and fried foods must be avoided; although have a tendency to add more fat to your body but are very low in vitamins and minerals which are essentially required to keep you really fit. Eat green veg. More fiber foods. Avoid fatty foods,junk foos,oily meal, drink plenty of water.take digestive meal . Syp. Aristozyme 10 ml thrice a day. Take tab. Charcol at night. Syp . Livoluk 10 ml at night. tests for constipation.. stool c/s, Examination of the rectum and lower, or sigmoid, colon (sigmoidoscopy) Examination of the rectum and entire colon (colonoscopy). An X-ray of the rectum during defecation (defecography). Avoid smoking/alcohol if you take.

I am 21 years, a student and have suffered depression in my college life due to my dad's abusive and agressive behaviour. I know he loves me but that is the way he is. Now, I dont live with him but still I get low and feel lonely sometimes. I dont know know what's the reason for my this feeling but I now I am not able to laugh, even cry like I earlier used to. During my college life, the thought of suicide also crossed my mind but I got over it with the hope that one day i'll have a successful carrer and i'll not have to suffer from all of this but with this lowlessnes and emptiness, it rather seems difficult. Also, this low and depressed feeling comes at any time and other times, it appears that everything is fine. Seriously, please I need your suggestion on what to do?

You are into an anger related depression and must work with a therapist to express this feeling to come out of the depression. Your anger may be directed at your father, and if your mother was passive during these abuses, you may be angry with her too. Even if you do not live with your father, he lives very much in your head, still abusing you with those memories you have of him. This will continue to torment you wherever you go and therefore it is imperative for you to sort out this mess in your head. You are losing affect in the bargain as a measure to deny the feeling so that you don? t have to deal with it. But that is exactly the set up for further depression. Your emotions are very important to you, and give you identity. By denying them you are not acknowledging yourself. We are all emotional beings and as such are able to be humane because of our feelings. This could get you into serious trouble later when this thing may become too entrenched to deal with easily. If it ever becomes unbearable, then do meet with a psychiatrist too.

There is no medication or food for improving eyesight or to get rid of glasses. If not interested in glasses then you can try a. Contact lens b. Lasik laser as your age is now 17 years so your number will not increase much now whether you wear glasses or not as number becomes stable at age of 18-20 yrs. Having said that I advise you to eat balanced diet including green vegetables and seasonal fruits for keeping eyes and body healthy. As you are not comfortable with contact lens then go for lasik. Lasik is a very easy and painless procedure. If you want to get rid of glasses then go for lasik.

It may due to viral infection. If stool simple loose without mucus and blood, give paracetamol 500 mg 8 hourly, liquid/ water in plenty, ors may be given if he likes. Continue light diet with curd. If condition does not improve or deteriorate, consult doctor.

use nasal spray otrivin,tab. flucold twice a day. drink warm water, juice,green veg. Soups,lquid diets, dalia, take protein diets, tulsi leaf in tea or warm water, geloy juice, avoid cold area,cold things .i.e. ice creams, fast/junk foods, chinese foods,spicy foods, fat meal, take bed rest , feel cold then cover body with warm cloths, avoid dust area, clean body, change cloths daily, change bed sheet daily, avoid stress.avoid non-veg.,avoid alcohol intake if smokes avoid also that. How to control weight. Walking for about 10 kms per day would be sufficient with average speed of 10 mnts per kilometer. What else precautions reqd. A lemon with lukewarm water with two teaspoon honey is advisable.

I have too much of hairfall and also my periods get delayed for long time what should I do to prevent both?

Hi. It's normal to loose up to 100 hair per day, and in most people, those hairs grow back. But many men -- and some women -- lose hair as they grow older. You can also lose your hair if you have certain diseases, such as thyroid problems, diabetes, or lupus. If you take certain medicines or have chemotherapy for cancer, you may also lose your hair. Other causes are stress, a low protein diet, a family history, use of bore water, or nutritional deficiencies. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, Vitamin B12, iron, zinc and Omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin) , different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, dates, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use Rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Medication: Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa Tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica Hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, take Follihair tablets (multivitamin) - 1 tab. daily once for 1 month. Investigations advised: Get your blood tested for (empty stomach) - CBC, S. Iron, S. Folic acid, S. Ferritin, S. Calcium, S. Vitamin D3, S. Vitamin B12. If there is any family history of Thyroid dysfunction, get Thyroid function test done as well. For Delayed periods: Is it happening for the first time? Since how long you have been suffering from this problem? Is there history of the same in your past as well? Any associated symptoms or complaints? Any medical condition do you have? Have you been to a gynaecologist and got any investigations done (if yes, share the reports with me)? Answer all these questions for proper diagnosis and proper treatment. Any nutritional deficiency can also lead to delayed menses. Also, if you are married and you do have active sexual life, get the pregnancy test done first and share the report with me. Meantime, suggesting you general tonics which will supply your body with calcium and iron - Five Phos. - thrice a day daily for 1 month.

It may be due to blood pooling in dilated veins if it is asymetric sweliing in limbs .it may be due to caridac weakness if associated wd weakness and breathing problm. It may be cause by ranal problm if swelling started from face .plz do blood electrolyt taste and limb vein ultrasound.

Yes you can have but it's a myth that tea can help to loose weight. It suppress your appetite but do not take it after meals as it impairs nutrient absorption. Don't take more than 3-4 cups/day.
