I lost my father 10 years ago and since then my mother has been working. Her office timings are from 10 am-6 pm. Firstly she complained about excessive bleeding and like something is shivering within the ankles. She also felt as if something hair-like substance is always present below her tongue in her mouth. Sought several medication (both allopathic and homeopathic) but none of them helped. Since her childhood, allopathic medicines always posed problems for her as it never suited her (feels like burning within). In 2013, she underwent a surgery and got her uterus removed. But after her operation when she was given allopathic medicines in abundance, problem of acidity began. Doctors said she is suffering from depression. Right now she is taking homeopathic medicine. She also sees a lot of dreams in her sleep at night and a results she wakes up 2 to 3 times during the night. And the moment she wakes up. Her heartbeat increases tremendously. And feels as if whole body is burning.help me on this

Hi lybrate-user, whatever history you have mentioned about your mother it's really in psychological issue. Its not mean she is psyche but she got deep hurt. Now whether this depression is because of sudden shock after closenone s death or anxiety, stress tension. That we have to rule out. Again what she think that matter a lot to treat her. What kind of dreams she has. All her history. She need counselling too. Whatever medicine she is consuming and medical history also required. Still that olive bach flowers medicine 5 drops in 1/2 glass of water you can start for her. After consultation we can give her counselling n proper homoeopathic medicine. Thank you surely she will get well soon.

How Lack Of Sleep Can Be Bad For Your Health

One in three people complain of poor sleep.
Sleep problems can occur due to long work hours, job pressures, career and family depression, seasonal or long term illnesses and, environmental factors such as extreme temperatures and excess of noise. On a slightly humorous note, poor sleep also crops up due to those minor tiffs with your dating partner, spouse or any of your office colleague or superiors who want to prove their one-upmanship over you.
What should you do in this case? Sit pretty and take positive action. Grow up, as it is time to address and solve the nagging issue of poor sleep before it causes any further damage to you and your happiness.

Negative Effects of Poor Sleep
Sleep deprivation can affect our mind, body and overall health, both physically and mentally. Let us have a glance at how it upsets our normal behaviour, working pattern and overall health:
Loss of Concentration: Often it is the nature of our task and work hours that leave us deprived of sleep. Sleep deprivation affects their speed, agility and alertness.
Obesity: Research shows that poor sleep due to our passive lifestyle affects our eating pattern, thereby increasing our food consumption and causing weight gain. Increased blood pressure, hypertension, and chances of heart attacks are the natural fallouts of poor sleep.
Reduced tolerance to stress: When you are tired owing to the workload and hectic hours, even minor things such as grocery shopping at a store close to your home or travelling in public transport to reach office might seem a huge task. The capacity of doing minor errand jobs seems like a huge burden on the shoulders.
Signs of Ageing : Lack of sleep quite naturally leads to puffy eyes. Since our body releases excess of cortisol (a stress hormone), it can cause breakdown of collagen which is the skin protein responsible for smooth and elastic skin in us. This over a period of time precipitates ageing symptoms such as fine lines, wrinkles, and dark circles under the eyes, affecting natural beauty.
Hampered social interactions: Staying awake at a stretch due to a set of reasons affects our interaction time and connectivity with friends, family members and community. When this happens, it slowly and gradually sucks us into an isolated space which makes us feel withdrawn and alone. In the process, poor sleep negatively affects human relationships.
Increased Accidents: Studies have revealed that poor quality sleep in the night time is likely to lead to injuries and accidents while you are on way to work. That is because sleeplessness affects our concentration level when we are travelling and leads to mishaps and injuries.
Cardiac Arrest: Sleep deprivation is one of the reasons that can cause early heart attacks as per certain research studies.
How to ensure sound sleep?
Lifestyle disorders such as staying up late and watching television, chatting and internet surfing, making long distance calls at night to avoid hefty phone bills during daytime, catching up with books and magazines, making children study and complete their class assignments etc. contribute a lot to triggering insomnia. However, here are a few of home remedies that can be the best alternative to fight poor sleep:
Follow bedroom ethics: A bedroom is meant to sleep in so there should be no kind of hindrance in Try to avoid keeping TV, computer, music system and other electronic gadgets in the bedroom so that when you come back from work, you get into a zone of 100% uninterrupted sleep. This might sound difficult to follow, but is worth a try if you wish to get sound sleep.
Take a warm bath: Your body needs relaxation and rejuvenation after a tiring day. Give yourself the benefit of warm tub bath. This will help you wash out the stress of everyday life. Try and add a few drops of essential oil (lavender or chamomile) to your bath water so that you can enjoy the soothing benefits of aromatherapy.
Meditate: Hitting the sack is an obvious choice after coming back from work. But do spend some time to meditate and clear your thoughts. This will help in bringing you the much needed sleep and calm your mind and nerves.
Apply lemon balm: If you want instant mood uplift, get for yourself lemon balm. One of the ancient herbs used for centuries, lemon balm helps you get good sleep through its physical and mental therapeutic properties. A relaxing tea made out of lemon balm is good when it comes to mood uplifting.
Drink warm milk: Take a glass of warm milk before going to sleep. It relaxes your nerves and is a mild soother that helps you unwind mentally and physically.
Drink tart cherry Juice: This one is a natural sleep aid, so drink half to one cup of it.
Do Feng Shui: This is an art of living that is more than just decorating your living space. It teaches you the philosophy of how to arrange your room, furniture etc. to ensure maximum flow of energy in the spaces so that a positive feeling leads to sound sleep. Therefore, it is essential to keep the room neat and clean with least clutter and trash.
Cut down on caffeine, alcohol, and tobacco: Caffeinated beverages should be avoided at least eight hours before bed. Similarly alcohol should be avoided as it interferes with the quality of sleep. Avoid smoking at night as well.
A solid night?s sleep is very important for a healthy life. Make sure you follow the tips above to live life happy and to the fullest.

Hii doctor sir/mam please give me a solution for early ejaculation less than 4 mint is my timing and my age is 24 now...
Premature ejaculation is most often caused by anxiety and too much stimulation. It may leave the couple feeling unsatisfied. Practice and relaxation should help you deal with the problem. Some men try to distract themselves by thinking nonsexual thoughts to avoid getting excited too fast. Two methods that could be helpful for men: 1.The start-and-stop method - aims to improve a man's control over ejaculation. It means stopping sexual stimulation (by himself or his partner) at the point he feels he is about to have an orgasm, and resuming once the sensation of impending orgasm has subsided. 2.The squeeze method - similar to above but the man gently squeezes the end of his penis - or his partner does this for him - for the duration of the 30-second pause before restarting stimulation. It is essential to practice, and if there is a persistent problem with PE, it may be worth taking a good homeopathic medicine. Til then you can take -- Agnus castus 30 thrice daily for 10 days, and then report thereafter.

I have noticed that when I masturbate. I have faced urine problem after 3 to 4 days like I feel urge to urinate again...
Bad effects of masturbation are: a. The nervous system is affected the most. b. Besides the heart, the digestive system, the urinary system as well as the other systems are adversely affected and consequently the whole body becomes the museum of diseases with profound weakness. c.Continuous headache and backache. d. Dizziness and loss of memory. e. Palpitation of heart on lightest exertion. f. Nervousness. g. Unable to perform any heavy physical or mental work. h. The person dislikes any company and activities and rather likes to sit in seclusion and suffers from weakness. i. All the senses are impaired. j. Impotency. Therefore, young men are advised to consult a qualified and honest homoeopathic practitioner for his expert advice and effective treatment . Further, those young men who are or have been engaged in the regular habits of masturbation should not ignore the necessity to consult the qualified homoeopaths to avoid sexual embarrassment at the time of marriage. You can easily take an online consultation for further treatment guidance.

My penis size is 2 inch when it's is not erected and 3 inch when it is erect what should I do to increase size and wi...
The length is not enough the act of sex should be satisfying from the point of view of both girl and boy. Boys' penises start to grow during puberty achieving between 2 and 5 inches (5 - 13 cm) in length. Penis with length of 3 inches or below while erection is termed as micropenis. With micropenis one cannot satisfy his female partner with penis only. Penis size 3-5 while erection comes in category of small penis, but these persons can satisfy female partners though females get a sense of somewhat short/lacking length at times. In homeopathy there are many remedies who help to increase sexual intercourse time and improve the penis health. Homeopathy helps to remove the problems from the root level. Homeopathic remedy easily removes the main cause from the root level according to the proper symptoms. Then the sexual intercourse time improves automatically and male organ become strong and thick. Consult me.

Eating Disorders

Eating Disorders

There is a commonly held view that eating disorders are a lifestyle choice. Eating disorders are actually serious and often fatal illnesses that cause severe disturbances to a person's eating behaviors. Obsessions with food, body weight, and shape may also signal an eating disorder.

Signs and Symptoms of Common Eating Disorders are discussed below:

Anorexia Nervosa:

People with anorexia nervosa may see themselves as overweight, even when they are dangerously underweight. People with anorexia nervosa typically weigh themselves repeatedly, severely restrict the amount of food they eat, and eat very small quantities of only certain foods. Anorexia nervosa has the highest mortality rate of any mental disorder.

Symptoms:

  • Extremely restricted eating
  • Extreme thinness (emaciation)
  • A relentless pursuit of thinness and unwillingness to maintain a normal or healthy weight
  • Intense fear of gaining weight
  • Distorted body image, a self-esteem that is heavily influenced by perceptions of body weight and shape, or a denial of the seriousness of low body weight

Other symptoms may develop over time, including:

  • Thinning of the bones (osteopenia or osteoporosis)
  • Mild anemia and muscle wasting and weakness
  • Brittle hair and nails
  • Dry and yellowish skin
  • Growth of fine hair all over the body (lanugo)
  • Severe constipation
  • Low blood pressure, slowed breathing and pulse
  • Damage to the structure and function of the heart
  • Brain damage
  • Multiorgan failure
  • Drop in internal body temperature, causing a person to feel cold all the time
  • Lethargy, sluggishness, or feeling tired all the time
  • Infertility

Bulimia Nervosa:

People with bulimia nervosa have recurrent and frequent episodes of eating unusually large amounts of food and feeling a lack of control over these episodes. This binge-eating is followed by behavior that compensates for the overeating such as forced vomiting, excessive use of laxatives or diuretics, fasting, excessive exercise, or a combination of these behaviors. People with bulimia nervosa usually maintain what is considered a healthy or relatively normal weight.

Symptoms:

  • Chronically inflamed and sore throat
  • Swollen salivary glands in the neck and jaw area
  • Worn tooth enamel and increasingly sensitive and decaying teeth as a result of exposure to stomach acid
  • Acid reflux disorder and other gastrointestinal problems
  • Intestinal distress and irritation from laxative abuse
  • Severe dehydration from purging of fluids
  • Electrolyte imbalance (too low or too high levels of sodium, calcium, potassium and other minerals) which can lead to stroke or heart attack

Binge-eating Disorder:

People with binge-eating disorder lose control over his or her eating. Unlike bulimia nervosa, periods of binge-eating are not followed by purging, excessive exercise, or fasting. As a result, people with binge-eating disorder often are overweight or obese. Binge-eating disorder is the most common eating disorder.

Symptoms:

  • Eating unusually large amounts of food in a specific amount of time
  • Eating even when you're full or not hungry
  • Eating fast during binge episodes
  • Eating until you're uncomfortably full
  • Eating alone or in secret to avoid embarrassment
  • Feeling distressed, ashamed, or guilty about your eating
  • Frequently dieting, possibly without weight loss

Unspecified Eating Disorder:

  • This happens when the behavior do not meet the criteria for any food or eating problems but still pose significant threat and problems.
  • This also happens the clinician is not able to assess whether an individual is affected by a certain disorder.

Treatment:

Treatment is available. Recovery is possible.

Eating disorders are serious health conditions that can be both physically and emotionally destructive. People with eating disorders need to seek professional help. Early diagnosis and intervention may enhance recovery. Eating disorders can become chronic, debilitating, and even life-threatening conditions.

When you begin to notice that disordered eating habits are affecting your life, your happiness, and your ability to concentrate, it is important that you talk to somebody about what you are going through.

The most effective and long-lasting treatment for an eating disorder is some form of psychotherapy or psychological counseling, coupled with careful attention to medical and nutritional needs. Ideally, this treatment should be tailored to the individual and will vary according to both the severities of the disorder and the patient's particular problems, needs, and strengths.

You are in the 'overweight' range of BMI and hope you are working on optimizing on your weight to achieve a healthy BMI. One of the important determinants in infertile patients with PCOS for surgical intervention (Laparoscopic Ovarian Drilling) is there LH value. PCOS women who have high LH usually are the candidates who respond well to the laparoscopic procedure. On the other hand, PCOS women who do not ovulate inspite of taking ovulation inducing medications like Clomiphene Citrate, Letrozole and/or hormone injections may also be advised to undergo a laparoscopy procedure. If you have any of the above condition, laparoscopy would be the right procedure for you. You can also look for my article on PCOS and Parenthood on web.

My penis turns to left and takes shape of it while being erect. Is this a problem. If I perform with my partner will she be objecting about this, or she'd be wanting a partner with straight sexual organ.

A curved penis simply can be a result of individual anatomy. The direction that an erect penis takes depends on the proportion of crus (penis under the skin) to exposed penis. Men with a shorter crus, and thus a longer penis, are more likely to have an erection that points downward, while an erect penis that has a longer crus will probably point outward, or even straight up. Sometimes the penis also bends to the left or to the right. I think in your case bending may be due to short crus. In the vast majority of cases, the curve falls well within the norms of most men and should not be a deterrent for a relationship. If, however, your penis has a pronounced curve or bends sharply to the left or right — especially if penetration is impossible or if an erection is painful — you should see a urologist.

Is there any treatment for getting healthy and getting rid off from sugar disease and to know about its remedy?
Do let me know your hba1c value? also you need to provide me your daily food intake details. There are many lifestyle and dietary guidelines that can be followed: take high fiber prescribed diet which includes soluble fibre like apple, isabgol etc. Get more physical activity. eat a balanced diet which includes whole grains and excludes all refined products like maida as prescribed. if you're overweight, diabetes prevention may hinge on weight loss. Every pound you lose can improve your health, and you may be surprised by how much. Participants in one large study who lost a modest amount of weight around 7 percent of initial body weight and exercised regularly reduced the risk of developing diabetes by almost 60 percent.
