You can definitely reduce Fat ,Follow this Low calorie, normal protein, vitamins and minerals, low carbohydrate, low fat and liberal fluid, high fibre diet is recommended. 1) There is no other way of reducing weight except by consuming less calories. 2) Deep fried, processed foods, pickles, papads, pastries, biscuits, nuts, chocolates, ice creams, deserts should be completely avoided. 3) During business meetings go for plain rice with thin dals and lots of salads. 4) Dinner should be taken as early as possible 5) Simple sugars, nuts, dry fruits ( except almonds and walnuts) should be restricted. 6) Small frequent meals ( containing high fibre, low fat ,moderate to low carbohydrates , moderate proteins, normal vitamins and minerals)with regular exercise is beneficial. 7) Begin your meal with a big bowl of salad or soups. 8) Drink plenty of water. 9) Do not skip meals 10) Prefer roasted /grilled /steamed/boiled food items. 11) Tea consumption should be reduced . Replace tea with organic green tea. Do not have tea along with any meal. 12) Consumption of full cream milk will increase fat percentage so skimmed milk is a good option. Avoid -Rice, Sugar ,Potato ,Sweets,Beet , Ghee, fried foods,j unkfood ,vada, samosa, bhajji, Banana ,Grapes ,Chickoo,Seetaphal ,Mango Avoid Mutton ,organ meats, egg yolk, buffaloes milk, cheese, paneer ,pizza ,burger,Choclates etc. Have 2-3 Cups of ecovalley green Tea ,it will help reducing Weight & Fat.

Hello You need not worry. Drink plenty of water. Take 3 main meals and 2 side meals. Don't skip breakfast. Sleep for 7-9 hours per night. Start your day with peanut butter sandwich. After 2 hours take 500ml milk. After 2 hours take 2-3 chapati with ghee applied along with paneer curry. Evening banana shake. Take apple before workout. After workout take 1 scoop of whey protein powder. Dinner take 2-3 chapati with ghee applied along with paneer or soya curry. Thank you

Hi Apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day.

there are many ayurvedic medicines for this purpose like ras manikya ras...gandhak rasayan....panchnimbadi churna....panchtikta ghrit guggul...arogya vardhini vati...khadirarishta....marichyadi oil...pranacharya B clean syrup..take these medicines by consulting with a good ayurvedic doctor...,but you have to strictly follow diet...and regularly take medicines for 6 months...

Hello there are solutions to melasma but in order to keep it at bay forever requires some of your efforts as well. Melasma can be reduced by laser or even by chemical peeling. You can also try melalite cream application which gradually fades the pigmentation. However with all the treatment, you will have to use sun screen lotion on your face forever. Apply the lotion all. Over your face before going in the sun and repeat the application every three hours.

Using tomatoes to help heal the scars on the skin is not a lengthy process, but it is rather simple. Just take a tomato, slice it and make it into a pulp. Apply the pulp on the face and leave it on for twenty minutes’ time. Then, wash it off with some warm water. You could also mix cucumbers with it. Make a paste out of all of cucumbers and tomatoes and apply as a face mask. Leave it on for half an hour and wash it with some cool water. Follow this method two days at a time every week and observe the results.

Iron Deficiency In Children

Iron Deficiency In Children

Iron is an essential nutrient and mineral that is required by adults and children alike. Iron helps move oxygen from the lungs to the rest of the body and helps muscles store and use oxygen. It is especially important for children because it aids development and prevents anaemia. Untreated iron deficiency in children can cause physical and mental delays. It can lead to less healthy red blood cells in the child's blood stream which will cause a delay in the growth of physical and mental faculties.

Risk factors for iron deficiency in children

Infants and children at highest risk of iron deficiency include:

  1. Babies who are born prematurely or have a low birth weight
  2. Babies who drink cow's milk before age 1
  3. Breast-fed babies who aren't given complementary foods containing iron after age 6 months
  4. Babies who drink formula that isn't fortified with iron
  5. Children ages 1 to 5 who drink more than 24 ounces (710 milliliters) of cow's milk, goat's milk or soy milk a day
  6. Children who have certain health conditions, such as chronic infections or restricted diets
  7. Children ages 1 to 5 who have been exposed to lead
  8. Adolescent girls also are at higher risk of iron deficiency because their bodies lose iron during menstruation.

Symptoms of iron deficiency anaemia

The signs and symptoms of iron deficiency anaemia in children may include:

  1. Pale skin
  2. Fatigue or weakness
  3. Slow cognitive and social development
  4. Inflammation of the tongue
  5. Difficulty maintaining body temperature
  6. Increased likelihood of infections
  7. Unusual cravings for non-nutritive substances, such as ice, dirt or pure starch

Prevent iron deficiency in children

Take steps to prevent iron deficiency in your child by paying attention to his or her diet. For example:

  1. Breast-feed or use iron-fortified formula. Breast-feeding until your child is age 1 is recommended. If you don't breast-feed, use iron-fortified infant formula.
  2. Encourage a balanced diet. When you begin serving your baby solids, typically between ages 4 months and 6 months, feed him or her foods with added iron, such as iron-fortified baby cereal. For older children, good sources of iron include red meat, chicken, fish, beans and dark green leafy vegetables. Between ages 1 and 5, don't allow your child to drink more than 24 ounces (710 milliliters) of milk a day.
  3. Enhance absorption. Vitamin C helps promote the absorption of dietary iron. You can help your child absorb iron by offering foods rich in vitamin C, such as melon, strawberries, kiwi, broccoli, tomatoes and potatoes.
  4. Consider iron supplements. If your baby was born prematurely or with a low birth weight or you're breast-feeding a baby older than 4 months and he or she isn't eating two or more servings a day of iron-rich foods, talk to a child's doctor about oral iron supplements.

Make sure that you watch out for the tell tale signs of iron deficiency and take the necessary precautions to avoid the same. If you wish to discuss about any specific child related problem, you can consult a specilized pediatrician and ask a free question.

Hi, Take Kali phos 6 x, 5 tabs, twice a day. Avena sativa Q 10 dops and passiflora Q, 15 drops with water once daily , half an hour before bed time. Set your daily routine and even after feeling sleepy in the day time don't sleep in the day. Revert me after 15 days.

Hi, your height can grow till 25 years of age. If you haven't yet reached the age, you may try the following remedies - 1. Take flax seed powder - 1 tablespoon after lunch and dinner with warm water. 2. Take lakshadi guggul - 2 tablets, twice a day. 3. Take ashwgandha churna - 1 tablespoon with milk at 6.30 pm. Also follow these exercises daily - 1. Swimming 2. Skipping 3. Pull-ups 4. Suryanamaskar.

Your BMI reads obesity. To lose body fat you have to follow a strict nutrition program along with good exercise and stay focused. One does not need a bariatric surgery to lose body fat. These are some guidelines for you to maintain a low body fat and/or lower body fat: 1. Exercise at least 5 times per week 2. Eat whole/unprocessed foods at regular intervals, while being aware of physical hunger/fullness cues 3. Sleep 7-9 hours per night 4. Don’t engage in extreme diets 5. Stay consistent with your habits 6. Incorporate non-exercise physical activity 7. Ignore food advertising You need a fat loss diet which comprises of whole grains like jowar, bajra, wheat, brown rice, pulses like moong, musoor, bengal gram, lots of vegetables, fruits, eggs, fish, chicken, paneer, healthy oil, nuts and seeds. You need to eat them in right proportion. Avoid eating sugar and sweets, refined foods like maida, noodles pasta, White rice and products, bread. Drink a lot of water. Hi lybrate-user, hope you are doing good. Your weight is not upto the mark when I check your age. And good that you wanna build muscles, which helps to grow your weight also. Protein helps you to improve your muscles, while you are doing the exercise as well. Go with 2egg whites, 1 glass of milk and soya protein. You can also choose the natural protein supplements which has no side affects, also you must know how must the protein will get digest in your body. I better suggest go with nutrilite protein powder which has pdcaas of 1 from who. Pdcaas (protien digestibility corrected amino acids score) 1 represent 100% digestible.
