It's a phase in your life where health and eating healthy always takes a back seat and stress, eating junk and over working and late nights are the norm. This causes lack of nutrition in your body leading to reduced growth and development. Eat meals at frequent intervals. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy eggs nuts fruits in your meals. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Exercise at least thrice a week. Even if you were to take medicines. They will not work in isolation. You have to have a calorie and nutrient dense meal.

Is fibroid is problem for newly married ladies, What are the issues which has to face.
The size of fibroid is important. Show to a gynaecologist. Small fibroids don't hamper pregnancy. However you can have absolutely normal married life. Wait for a year if still you don't conceive then depending on size of fibroid active Gynae treatment has to start.

Dear lybrate user. I can understand. Testicle size, color and shape differs in every individual. If you observe your ears, eyes, hands, legs etc they will be differing in some aspect in your body. The same is applicable to your testicles too. They differ in color, size and texture. This difference will not affect your sexual performance or future reproductive ability. But you should look for abnormal swelling of testicles with or without pain, itching, burning etc. Don’t panic. Take care.

Hi, If you’re aiming to gain some strength and build muscle, you must follow the points mentioned below: 1.Start exercising. If you’re a beginner, focus on bodyweight exercises like push up, pull up and squat. The basic push up and chin up are invaluable exercises you can do with very little equipment. Increase their difficulty by adding reps or affixing weights to your legs. 2.Consume a balanced diet. It's important to eat big meals to fuel muscle growth while you're training. You’ll need to eat healthy, whole foods that will nourish and restore your muscles. Consume all types of fruits, vegetables, grains, oils and dairy products. 3.Take adequate rest. Many people take this step lightly, but it's absolutely essential when it comes to gain strength. That means you won't be able to work out as hard or lift as much as you otherwise would, not to mention you'll be more prone to injury if you're feeling sleepy. Get at least 7-8 hours of sleep per night, possibly more depending on your individual needs, during heavy workout periods. 4.Increase protein intake. Protein proves to be the most essential nutrient when it comes down to gaining strength or building muscle. Therefore, consume all types of protein from both veg and non veg food items. Chicken breast, egg whites, fish, pulses provide you all the protein you need without containing any unnecessary fat. 5.Focus on compound movements. Compound movements are those which engages more than one muscle group. Exercises like bench press, squat, dead lift are great examples of compound exercises to gain strength quickly. 6.Lift heavy. If your main aim is to gain strength, you’ll need to lift heavy weights in the gym and thus, lower the repetitions of your sets. Moderate-rep sets are important when training for muscle size. However, to build strength, you're going to have to train with heavier weights, meaning you'll do fewer reps. 7.Limit cardio to once or twice per week. Cardio exercises like running, swimming, and biking are great ways to keep your endurance good and your circulation healthy. However, they aren't the best exercises you can do if your goal is to gain strength. Weight training requires loads of energy, and if yours has already been used up by a long run or bike ride, you won't have enough left over to give weight training your best shot. Limit cardio to once or twice per week so your energy reserves are ready to expend on building strength. Best of luck!

Khus Khus - Health Benefits You Never Knew!

There are many condiments used for flavouring in Indian cooking. We also have many ingredients that can bring us health benefits. Khus khus or poppy seeds are one of the staple Indian condiments that we use in pulses, curries and other vegetable preparations. This condiment is also known for its varied health benefits that many of us may not be aware of.

Read on to know more about the health benefits of poppy seeds.

  1. Constipation: Poppy seeds are known to drive away and prevent constipation. This condiment can also remove gas. These seeds keep your stomach feeling full for a much longer time. It can be added to your food so that you can avoid constipation and other problems like gas and indigestion. This is due to the fact that poppy seeds carry plenty of dietary fibres.
  2. Sleep problems: Khus khus is also a well known ingredient that can be taken with warm milk and sugar to help in curing sleep disorders like insomnia. This ingredient helps in inducing sleep and is known to be an excellent way in which one can cure sleeplessness. The milk with poppy seeds must be ingested at least an hour before you sleep.
  3. Respiratory problems: If you have been suffering from asthma and other respiratory issues for a very long time, then this might just be the cure for you. One can have poppy seeds as this ingredient acts like a decongestant of sorts and helps in keeping the airways and the throat tract clear. It reduces the amount of cough that one may be having, which helps in better management of the respiratory problem being faced.
  4. Radical attacks: Any radical attacks like a sudden spike in one’s cholesterol and blood pressure as well as cardiac arrest can also be prevented with the help of poppy seeds along with a good diet and exercise routine. Poppy seeds are a well-known source of antioxidants and one can have plenty of this in order to avoid coming down with any sudden and serious health issues.
  5. Kidney stones: With the help of poppy seeds and its antioxidants as well as dietary fibers, it is possible to routinely flush out all those toxins that can otherwise accumulate in your body. These toxins usually give rise to conditions like kidney stones and other related issues. Ingesting poppy seeds on a regular basis can go a long way in avoiding such issues.
  6. Pain killer: Whatever kind of pain we may be suffering from, and for whatever reason or condition, chewing on poppy seeds can actually help in giving substantial pain relief. It can relieve you of tooth aches as well as muscular and neurological pain. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult an ayurveda.

The secret to maintaining healthy body weight lies in a planned calorie intake that will boost metabolism and induce fat burning. A 1200 Cal meal plan is advised. The three main sources of calories are fats, carbohydrates, and proteins. Sources of unhealthy saturated fats are butter, cheese and fatty cuts of meats; whereas sources of healthy unsaturated fats are nuts, vegetable oils, olives and seafood. The 1200 Calorie Indian Meal Plan for a Healthy Weight Loss Deblina Biswas Diet 3,197 Comments When it comes to weight loss, most of us are trapped in the vicious cycle of failed diet plans where we start dieting and exercising with great enthusiasm. Suddenly somewhere in the middle of the road we lose interest and determination and give up to the tempting call of butter paneer, biryani, daal makhani and rasmalai. And the few of us who do succeed to lose some weight by surviving a restrictive diet, will not have any clue on how to maintain it so that they don’t return to their previous size. One such example is Indian GM Diet Meal Plan, where you to tend to lose weight in the first week and gain automatically when not followed with a strict diet plan. The 1200 Calorie Indian Meal Plan for a Healthy Weight Loss The 1200 Calorie Indian Meal Plan: The secret to maintaining healthy body weight lies in a planned calorie intake that will boost metabolism and induce fat burning. Boosting the metabolic rate is vital for weight loss and it can be done with the home remedies to boost metabolism. This can also be achieved with our new 1200 calorie diet plan. A 1200 Cal meal plan can never go wrong, but the result will definitely depend on what you eat. You cannot take in your stipulated 1200 Cal from junk food, fries, sugary treats and chocolates and expect to see effective results. It should be a well-balanced and nutritious diet, containing all the vital vitamins, minerals, essential fats, and nutrients or else your body can get seriously messed up and the effects will be reflected in your lifeless, limp hair, dull, rough skin along with extreme tiredness and lethargy. 1200 calorie diet plan Why 1200 Cal is the Magic Number? Well, the requirement of every individual is different, and a diet for effective weight loss should be based on several factors such as activity level, age, sex, weight, height, metabolism and medical condition. Therefore, it is best to calculate your BMR (Basal Metabolic rate) that will help determine the minimum calorie requirement of your body. Calories scale The basic mechanism of weight loss is to create a calorie deficit in the body by eating fewer calories with a balanced diet chart. A minimum of 1200-1800 calorie is the basic requirement of the body and reducing calorie intake below that will signal the brain to slow down metabolism and the body will start conserving fat and extract energy from muscles instead. Identifying the Right Calories Calories are the most important factor that determines both weight gain and weight loss, and a healthy weight loss plan creates a safe calorie deficit to promote weight loss. The game of weight loss is all about calorie intake and calories burnt. In case of weight balance, all calories are same, but when it comes to overall health, all calories are not the same. The three main sources of calories are fats, carbohydrates, and proteins. Sources of unhealthy saturated fats are butter, cheese and fatty cuts of meats; whereas sources of healthy unsaturated fats are nuts, vegetable oils, olives and seafood. Just like healthy and unhealthy fats, there are healthy and unhealthy carbs as well. Simple carbs like white rice, sugar, white flour, soda, fruit juices and baked goods are the ones that make you fat. Complex carbohydrates such as brown rice, wheat flour, beans, lentils, legumes, fruits and vegetables aid in weight loss. Proteins are necessary for increasing muscle mass, and the best low saturated fat natural sources of protein are egg whites and low-fat dairy. So, it is important to identify the good and the bad calories and include the right foods in your 1200 calorie Indian diet plan to make it healthy and balanced. The small healthy meals at short intervals help in boosting up metabolism thereby burning more calories. We must divide the 1200 calories into 6 meals consisting of 3 meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) of 300 calories each which comes to a total of 900 calories. The remaining 300 calories should consist of healthy snacks and beverages that will be spread throughout the day.
