Dear, it is best not to depend on sleep medicines for sleep disturbance as in long run, they lead to dependency and increased disturbance. Never rely on alcohol for sleep. Some people use alcohol to help them sleep, but that's not a good idea. At first, drinking alcohol may make you sleepy and help you fall asleep. But when you drink alcohol, you are more likely to wake up later in the night and have a hard time falling back asleep. This can leave you feeling tired the next day. The following tips help one to easily get into sleep: a) have bath regularly in evening after coming from work or before going to bed. B) do not engage mind in active work or stressful talking at night before bed time. C) do not engage mind in too much of computer work in night before bed time (for example, do not do stock market work in night). D) do not read or view illicit or pornographic material at any time preferably. E) do not take heavy meals in night. Best is to have heavy breakfast, lighter lunch and lightest dinner to maintain stomach rhythm which affects sleep. Vegetarian diet is best for good sleep. F) do not over engage mind in television in night. G) do not smoke cigarette, chew tobacco, tobacco containing masala, or similar intoxicants which can disturb rhythm of mind and disturb sleep cycle. H) no tea or coffee in night (preferably cocoa and caffeine containing drinks should be totally avoided for best results). I) listen to relaxing music and even then if you do not get sleep, then hear soothing stories or nice talks from our rich vedic literature. You may stream audio music and talks. J) read books which not only calm the mind but also nourish the thinking process, such as from our rich oldest vedic literature.

I am working as seaman, whenever I go to different places ; constipation problem occurred. Though I don't forget to carry kayam churna, isabgol husk. But they don't work. I am looking for permanent solution.

Limit the amount of white bread, sugar, meat, junk food and milk products (cheese, milk, butter, cream.) and increasing fresh fruits, veggies, water and fiber (beans, oats,) also yogurt really helps due to the probiotics. Maybe you could do a food diary for a period, eliminate a couple of items at a time and build up until you have added enough other of good items to make the stools loose. Oatmeal helps out tremendously. Figure out the diet and once you've added enough good things, slowly pull back on the laxatives and pay attention as you go. This could be a food allergy, do some research, usually its lactose (dairy), nuts, sugar, food coloring, preservatives. Try to avoid boxed and processed foods which have more preservatives, calories, fat, high carb. I hope some of this helps. In the mean time try (biochemic) biocombination numb 4. Requires detailed questioning so as to ascertain your mothers personality and to treat her symptomatically. Treatment is available, safe and without side effects in biochemic system of medication, can consult me pvt.

What is the problem in flue and what causes hashimoto's thyroiditis, and what is the best method of treatment?
Mr. Lybrate-user, influenza (flu), is a self limiting viral infection of upper respiratory tract. It can cause fever, (some times high fever) severe body ache including low back pain and joint pains, upper respiratory symptoms like running nose, sore throat and cough. There is hardly any sputum. Disease runs a short course of 4 to 5 days. But recovery is slow. Hashimoto's thyroiditis is an autoimmune disorder of thyroid gland where there are antibodise produced against thyroid peroxidase enzyme (anti tpo ab). These antibodies destroy thyroxine producing cells in the gland that results in thyroxine deficiency - hypothyroidism. The gland is filled with lymphocytes and may look globular and firm. One of the cause is said to be excess iodine intake through iodinated salt. Treatment is to start thyroxine tablets and take them for life time. This is the commonest cause of hypothyroidism in usa.

Drink lot of water Put a couple of cups of tomato juice in a bucket of lukewarm water. Soak and scrub your hands and feet in this for half an hour. Apply baby powder/ talcum powder in your palms and feet Tea is rich in tannins which serves as a natural anti-perspirant. Take 1-2tea bags in a cup of boiled water. Protecting the penis from loss of sensation should be the goal of any man who wants to live an active, enjoyable sex life for the rest of his days. But unfortunately, though a man applies the best possible penis care and does what he thinks are all the right things, he might still suffer from loss of penis sensation. The problem lies in the fact that sometimes, the everyday things that a man does happen to slowly diminish penis sensation, until there is a marked difference in how his penis reacts to touch.

The good news is that by spotting these potential issues early on, a guy can help ensure that his penis is in good shape, and his sensation is always top-notch. Here's how.

1. Don't go commando. Though it might feel great to go without underclothes for a while, it can actually be detrimental to penis sensation and sensitivity. That's because the friction caused by jeans or other trouser material can be substantial, yet happen in such as gradual way that a guy doesn't actually feel the irritation - or it's not enough to make him want to put on underwear. This often results in a lack of penis sensation before a guy realizes it's happening.

2. But don't go too tight, either. Just as a man shouldn't go commando too often, he also shouldn't go with underwear that are binding or tight. These can diminish the circulation through the penis and surrounding area, and of course, blood flow is essential to keep the nerve endings in good health. Make sure boxers and briefs fit properly, and if anything cuts into the skin, a larger size is needed.

3. Always use lube. Though it might be tempting to go without lube in the midst of a hot encounter or even when a man is by himself and wants to try something different with masturbation, keep in mind that going 'dry' too often can lead to tiny irritations and even small tears in the penis skin, all of which can eventually lead to a loss of sensation.

4. And speaking of encounters. A guy who is enjoying a sexual encounter will want to ensure that he doesn't do it the same way every time. Even though certain positions might come easier to him or he and a partner might prefer a particular angle, it pays to switch it up quite often, as this avoids any repeated pressure on one part of the penis. That can help ensure the entire penis stays as healthy as possible.

5. Avoid anything that irritates the penis. Switching to a different cleanser, using soap instead of soapless cleansers, using a new detergent on the sheets or clothing, or applying products that aren't tested and proven safe are all ways to develop an allergic reaction on the penis and surrounding area. As the reaction often leads to rashing, which can then lead to tougher skin, it's possible that too many allergic reactions can eventually diminish penis sensitivity.

Finally, a man should take a good look at a variety of options for penis health crème (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which is clinically proven mild and safe for skin). The best options will include vitamin A for antibacterial prowess and vitamin C for collagen enhancement, as well as vitamin E for softness and soothing. Look for a crème that contains L-carnitine as well, as this amino acid is well-known for fighting against peripheral nerve damage that can lead to serious problems later in life. Dear Lybrate user. Phimosis is a congenital narrowing of the opening of the foreskin so that it cannot be retracted. Phimosis is a very common problem. In most of the cases you can clear the problem yourself. Apply oil on your foreskin and on the glans. Move the foreskin forward and back slowly without hurting you much. Because the oil is lubricant, it will be easier than without oil. Do this forward and back movement 20 times several times in a day. Repeat the same every day for around one month. You will get the elasticity and you will be able to retract the foreskin completely. In case if there is no result from the above massage, you can always go for a minor surgical procedure called circumcision. Take care.

Small penis is not problematic you penis foreskin attached with penis head means your frenulum is not break yet now there are things you can try on your own to help your foreskin easily slide back over the head of your penis. Start with stretching exercises during your shower. You should pull the foreskin forward away from the body, then pull it back as so it feels tight without being painful and keep it stretched for a couple of minutes. Make it a routine for a couple of times a day. And do it gradually, one step at the time.

I did test of glucose fasting n acc to that test I was in pre-diabetic range. But my sugar levels are normal it is 82. I have also PCOD problem. Is there any matter of concern regarding diabetes? Also in my family nobody has diabetes.

lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. The mentioned blood glucose level is absolutely normal. Pre-diabetic range is FBG 108 to 125 mg, PP 141 to 199 mg & HbA1c% 5.9 to 6.4. Since you are not in that category, there is no reason to worry. However, you have maintain normal weight, take properly balanced diet and exercise regularly to avoid getting diabetes. Diabetes can come even without any family history, particularly if the patient overweight or obese plus being inactive that is not doing any exercise. Hence, please be active and control your weight. Thanks.
