Hi I am suffering from sever fever from ten days could you suggest any medicines
To overcome this problem.
First of all you should take rest for 1-2 days so that your body can fight with underlying infection with its full immunity and start the below medication:- take gelesemium 200, twice daily. Take eupatrium perf 200, 5 drops thrice daily. Take antifebrinum 3x, 2 tabs, thrice daily. Take alfavena malt, 1 tsf, thrice daily. Drink lots of water and take light homemade food like dalia and khichdi, avoid oily, spicy, fried, junk and cold drinks. In case of high uncontrollable fever, don't panic you should do cold sponging to lower down the temperature. If fever does not goes then go for a set of blood tests. Revert me with feedback. Take care of your health. Good day.

Dependent Personality Disorder

Dependent personality disorder (dpd) is one of a cluster of disorders defined by symptoms of anxiety and fear. The specific, identifying symptoms include:

  • being emotionally dependent on others; feeling they can’t take care of themselves
  • investing a lot of time and effort in trying to please significant people
  • displaying clingy, passive and needy behavior
  • avoiding disagreements for fear of losing approval and support
  • experiencing separation anxiety and intense fear of abandonment
  • finding it hard to be alone
  • putting the needs of others before their own
  • tolerating mistreatment and abuse for fear of disapproval and abandonment
  • being crushed, and feeling helpless, when relationships end – and forming new relationships as soon as possible
  • being unable to make even the simplest decision without the input and reassurance of others
  • rarely taking the initiative
  • avoiding personal responsibility
  • avoiding responsible jobs and careers that require independent, autonomous functioning
  • being over-sensitivity to criticism
  • feeling negative and pessimistic; expecting to disappoint and fail
  • having low self esteem and lacking confidence, including a belief that they are unable to care for themselves.
  • The cause of disorder is still unclear, and probably includes both a genetic and environmental component. Some researchers have speculated that it could be linked to an authoritarian or overprotective parenting style – which acts as a trigger for a genetic predisposition.

Treatment is usually initially sought for some other problem or concern – such as feeling overwhelmed – so that they can’t cope with life. Also, sufferers will often have a mood disorder so they seek help for depression or anxiety at first.

The normal treatment for this particular disorder is counselling or psychotherapy. However, the emphasis is short term therapy so the person doesn’t form a dependency – and then look to the counsellor to take care of them. Prognosis with support is generally good.

Tips to Avoid Spinal Pain While Walking

2 BAD AND GOOD MOVES WHILE WALKING TO AVOID SPINAL PAIN:

  • BAD MOVE: Forward Head Walk

Looking down at the ground directly in front of you while walking will pull you into this alignment. This bad move may simply be a habit, but it will tend to become exaggerated whenever you are tired, ill, depressed, cold or stressed. A depressed chest often occurs along with a forward head alignment. The sternum, which is the front bone of the chest, is in a relatively lowered position. This results in poor ventilation, and decreased endurance may result.

My husband gets angry a lot. He can't control it then later he feels sorry about it. While getting angry, he bites his lips, hurts himself, shouts a lot. What to do to control his anger?

Reparenting Technique, BA, BEd
Psychologist, Bangalore
He should not control his anger: he needs to control his actions when he angry. None of the feelings are to be controlled. They are to be expressed appropriately and given total catharsis. If not, it will find an organ in the body and bring about its malfunction to total dysfunction. Take him to a counselor and let him learn about anger management and about emotions. If he is not able to explain the anger or its provocation, then there could be childhood influences that have to looked into. When he turns his anger inwards, he will tend to hurt himself. Over a period of time this could lead to worse outcomes and may also become difficult to handle.

Knee Pain

Fellowship in Joint Replacement , M.Ch , MS - Orthopaedics, MBBS
Orthopedist, Delhi

Hi friends, I am Dr Ashwani Maichand and I am Orthopaedic surgeon based in Delhi. Today we will be talking about knee pain, knee pain is actually one of the commonest causes why people visit orthopaedic OPD’s we divide knee pain into three groups one athlete, second young females and third elderly patients. The causes are entirely different in our three groups and when to contact a doctor, how to prevent the problem and what are the causes will be discussing each of them. Let's take athlete first, we have now we see people are taking sports as a career now and the knee is one of the most important commonly injured joints causes can be cartilage tear what we call meniscal tear, it can be ligament tears, it can be tendon tear, it can be a muscle tear. So at the earliest, you should look for a knee surgeon, the knee is a very specialist branch these days, it's just not any Orthopaedic surgeon you should look for a knee surgeon. So, contact the person, the expert as soon as possible don't self-treat yourself because these problems can be treated very nicely at the early stage. If you delay there can be complications and it can affect your career that's a simple message. Second young ladies in their early thirties, late thirties they start having pain when their climbing stairs when they are squatting when they are getting up from chair and generally they ignore it. The reason is very very simple, the knee has only two things muscles and bones, one of them get a week with time or with lack of exercise, so we must get assist by an Orthopaedic surgeon by knee surgeon. What is the cause, in young ladies generally it is the beginning of osteoporosis that is lack of calcium in bones, one and second, the muscles on the medial side that is the inner side of the thigh they become weaker as compared to the muscle of the lateral side that is the outer aspect of the thigh, what happens it causes imbalance in your knee cap, the knee cap gets tilted on the outer side, it starts rubbing against your Femur bone the thigh bone it causes pain when you are climbing stairs, walking is perfectly fine but remember this is the beginning of the Arthritis which you will be suffering when you are 50 + and 60 +. If you stop this thing right now, there are high chances that you never suffer from Arthritis and you will never go for a knee replacement. So we should take opinion No.2, we should get our Vitamin D and Calcium check regularly and No.3, of course, regular exercises even if its a walk, jogging whatever yoga anything keep your body flexible, keep your muscles strong, keep your bones strong. Now we come to the elderly grow the osteoarthritis, that means the wear and tear of knee joints with age, so it's very common in 60 + and 70 + people. They come with Arthritis they have deformed joints and it affects not only their knees but their spine as well as their general well being. These days knee replacement is very successful surgery, very nicely done people hardly discharge on 3rd or 4th day they are walking the very next day these days knee replacement is done by MIS technique, whenever required avail it doesn't wait. Generally, we have pain in one knee and we wait for the other knee to get spoilt, we wait for the spine to have Arthritis then we go for knee replacement but by that time we have lost our 10-15 years of good productive life. So get treatment in time because this is something that is age-related if it happens, get it treated don't suffer. So that was the message, I am available for further opinions further the details on Lybrate.

May be it is vaginismus, in which there is involuntary spasm in the vaginal muscles, mainly caused by fear of being hurt. You should shed your fear and insecurity. Take these bach flower remedies available at homeopathic shops mix two drops each of mimulus, rock rose and star of bethelehm and take it four times daily mixed in some water for 6 weeks. It is safe & effective.

Migraine is a relapsing disorder. It aggravates with precipitating factors. Here are few suggestions to avoid relapses - 1) Avoid direct sun exposure for long time, watching TV/ movies in dark rooms 2) Avoid fasting 3) Have adequate sleep at night. Do not change your sleep patterns often 4) Avoid stress, anxiety, excess work load Anyways, if only the recommendations are not working and you still have frequent relapses- 1) Get a treatment for acute migraine attacks 2) Start Prophylaxis treatment for preventing future migraine attacks

I have severe itching in my eyes. Pl suggest some medicine. It will be yours most kindness.
itching is commonly due to allergy allergy can be controlled easily using eye drops. But there are many eye drops and specific eye drops can only be prescribed after seeing the eye clinically as treatment depends on severity. also dip a handkerchief in little cold water and keep over closed eyes.. you will feel better
