We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need deep cleaning along with surgical, gum strengthening procedure. Rinse your mouth thoroughly with a mouth wash after every meals. Use pepsodent tooth paste & gum paint for 2 to 3 weeks. Advance procedures can be done with laser. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Loss of sexual desire is more common in women than in men. As many as 3 in 10 women have reduced or limited sexual interest in any kind of sexual activity. While the medical term for this problem is Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder (HSDD), it is generally understood as a loss of libido.

Following are the causes of less libido in females:

1. Hormonal disorders:

  • Dryness of the vagina and pain during sexual intercourse may affect sexual drive both mentally and physically.
  • After menopause, drop in the count of testosterone hormone also affects sexual drive which can result in loss of libido.
  • With advancing age, the level of androgens decrease, and hence results in a lack of sexual desire.

2. Lifestyle disorders:

  • In some of the cases, lack of emotional support in a relationship plays a significant role in the loss of libido. Post baby 'coolness' may also act as a driving force for loss in libido.
  • In today's era, changing lifestyle is drastically affecting our lives. Following an unhealthy lifestyle may result in increased weight that may affect self-image, and indirectly may also affect the sexual desire.
  • Stress and job, family pressure and exhaustion may also influence sexual desire of a woman.

3. Medical disorders:

  • There are conditions such as endometriosis, fibroids and thyroid disorders that may have a negative impact on the sexual drive of a woman.
  • Certain medicines such as antidepressants, oral contraceptives, and medicines that lower blood pressure may also negatively impact the sexual drive in women.

4. Psychological factors:

  • Increasing cases of depression, anxiety, frustration, stress is also an important cause of loss of libido in the contemporary society.
  • After childbirth, new moms tend to suffer from lack of sleep, insufficient lubrication of the vagina and exhaustion, which may affect her sexual desire. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a sexologist.

Hye. Get his ENT check done. Also maybe he is lacking stamina. Usually loss of stamina is very often due to poor nutrition. It is important to know that just eating two heavy meals a day will not fulfill your nutrient needs. Most often we skip meals especially when at work or in college. We start our day on empty stomach but our work or stress or activity is never reduced. This causes weakness and lack of energy levels. Food is our source of energy and if you don't eat well as per your needs you are going to get deficient in many nutrients. So, start by eating the right foods at the right time. Eat meals at frequent intervals. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy, eggs, nuts, fruits in your meals. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Sleep well.    Exercise at least thrice a week.

If you are losing 10 - 15 hair daily then it is not hair fall. If you are losing more than 100 hair daily then you will require treatment. You are lucky you do not have hair fall so relax.

Dear lybrate user. I can understand. Testicle size, color and shape differs in every individual. If you observe your ears, eyes, hands, legs etc they will be differing in some aspect in your body. The same is applicable to your testicles too. They differ in color, size and texture. This difference will not affect your sexual performance or future reproductive ability. But you should look for abnormal swelling of testicles with or without pain, itching, burning etc. Don’t panic. Take care.

Being a dietitian my views: there is no single diet chart for everyone. To plan a specific diet we do collect lot of information like height, weight, food frequency, digestive history, medical history, likes, dislike, lifestyle, eating habits. Remember one thing to follow a diet it should be personalized according to person's body type and not generalized. Starting with there is no pills or powder or shake which can help you to lose weight in a healthy way. To lose weight eat an hour within walking up and dinner at least 2 hours before you sleep. Avoiding eating anything after dinner. Breakfast should be your king size have good complex carbohydrates and protein rich. Eat every 2 hours small frequent meal do help in weight loss. And do not overeat. One can come to ideal body weight with few lifestyle modification. Have green tea only 2 cups a day. For exercise I would say diet plays 80 % role and exercise plays 20 % role in losing weight. Personal advise on gym. You should not make your body habituated with machines rather do simple walk or surya namaskar or planks. So only with healthy eating one can lose weight.

Your problem is due to computer Eye strain Computer Eye Strain is known as computer vision syndrome Please follow the advice given below. 1. Take a break-Use 20-20 rule, Take a break for 20 second after working in computer for 20 minutes and look at some thing 20 feet away. 2.Blink Frequently to prevent dryness of eyes 3.Use of computer glass- it optimises your eye sight when you are looking at digital screen and helps to decrease glare 4. Keep your monitor bright- this decreases flicker 5. Use proper lighting like incandescent light 6. check position of monitor- monitor should be placed 4-5inches below eye level and 20-28 inches from eyes 7. Adjust, screen resolution 8.Minimise glare- clean monitor regularly to remove dust and place an anti glare screen 9.Try massage or eye cupping- Massaging the area around the eye will relax eye muscle. Rub your hands together to create friction and warmth, then gently cup your palm over the closed eye and rest them 10. Take multivitamin tablet containing vitamin A,C,E, B complex, Zinc and antioxidant (one capsule of Revital daily after Breakfast) 11. Go for yearly eye examination

Hello. You can use ayurvedic ubtan for cleaning d face. It removes excessive oil, acts as scruber for removing dirt and dark spots, maintains proper moisture of skin. Apply moist ubtan on wet face and scrub for 1 or 2 minutes and then wash wid water. Apply facepack containing herbs powder like manjishtha, sariva, neem, triphala, rose petals. You can mix them in equal quantity and preserve it for daily use. Avoid spicy & salty food. Keep urself hydrated. Take fruits everyday. Avoid excessive stress. I have black spots on my face I used every cream but it doesn't work out. How do I get rid of it?

Hi, acne leave black spots and scars on face. So you must first get rid of pimples. Bcoz if you treat pimples then only black spots can be treated. Don, t use any creams, as they bring more oilyness to the skin. Take tablet pimplex (sbl) 4tabs to be chewed 2times a day 1/2an hour before meals for 1mth for black spots take berberis aquifolium q 10drops in 1/4th cup of water, drink twice a day for1mth. Report avoid eating very spicy and oily food, junkfood.

I have got pimples on my face containing white coloured substance when I use an aloe vera gel they get reduced otherwise they again appear due to oiliness in my skin after few hours.

Use tea tree face wash and toner twice daily. Use aha glow face wash daily use sunscreen with spf 30 daily. Use natural face pack of multani mitti and lemon 2 times a week.
