First time insertion is difficult and painful you can use some lubricant like coconut oil etc and go about it very gently.

If you are sexually active than get your urine checked for pregnancy and otherwise if you are a virgin than just wait for the periods to come on its own.

Dear lybrate-user! I understand you are taking diane 35 for acne and polycystic ovarian syndrome. It is not advisable to stop diane in the middle of the cycle. Please complete this month course ands do not start diane in the next cycle. Diane has no impact on future pregancy when stopped. Of course you cannot conceive now in this cycle. Please be patient. I can review all your papers and schedule a treatment plan for you.

Tips To Have A Happy Time Cycling!

Tips To Have A Happy Time Cycling!

Can you think of anyone who is into cycling (professional or a regular cyclist) and has not faced any injuries? You would have to think real hard, as injuries are a very common part of cycling. Right from the stage when a person starts learning to whatever stage they decide to stop at, injuries are a part and parcel of it.

There are, however, some tips that can help you avoid or reduce the incidence of injuries and their impact. These are gaining importance, as there are more people getting into the sport. Follow these and have a happy time cycling away!

  1. Choose the right bike for your height and frame. Do not use cycles which are too small or too big for you.
  2. Always use a helmet of the approved standards and use the helmet lock. It does not prevent scratches and skin tears, but definitely helps protect your head.
  3. Common notion is that traffic rules don’t apply to cyclists. We all can remember how a cyclist gets off the bike at the signal and pushes the bike to cross over. This is wrong and the traffic rules apply as much to the cyclists as to the other motorists.
  4. Using hand signals to indicate stopping, turning or changing lanes is also a practice that cyclists must follow.
  5. When riding on the roads, keep safe distance from other vehicles. If there is a cycling lane, stick to it.
  6. Though cycling with music in your ears is very appealing, try not to do that, especially if you are on the road where you might not be able to hear honking from other vehicles.
  7. If you are cycling in a group, make sure you cycle one behind the other, not as a group.
  8. Do not try bike stunts like speeding, wheeling, etc., on roads which have regular traffic. Choose off-peak hours and quieter areas for these stunts.
  9. If you are crossing a pedestrian lane, get off the bike and cross it carefully.
  10. Try not to use the edge of the road from where it is easy to fall off. Riding on the road helps others to notice you, so ride accordingly.
  11. If you are riding at night, make sure you are wearing bright clothing; there are fluorescent colored bibs with reflectors available. The bike should also have reflectors, so others can see you and the bike.
  12. For regular practice, try staying in residential areas, compared to roads which have other vehicles.
  13. Ensure the bike is always maintained in a good condition with brakes and gears working properly. Get your bike serviced regularly, so it is well oiled and checked for proper functioning.

In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!

Pain During Sex - Reasons Behind It!

Pain During Sex - Reasons Behind It!

There are a number of reasons that can cause pain during intercourse. Physical intimacy is one such thing that requires your physical and mental stimulation in order to create a satisfactory environment and peak appropriately.

From sexual interest to stimulation, excitement and even sexual peak - there are four distinct stages in the act of sex and sexual intercourse that inevitably follows, until orgasm. So, it is important to be in the right frame emotionally and physically in order for the four phases to progress properly towards sexual climax. Yet, there are a number of reasons that can cause a decline in sexual interest and drive, as well as a less than satisfactory sex life. One of the reasons includes pain that many people, especially women, experience during the act of sex. This is called Intercourse pain or even Dyspareunia. Following are the reasons behind this pain-

  1. Cervical problems: Many times, problems with the cervix can lead to dryness which can cause pain during intercourse. This may occur due to infections and other such conditions which cause pain during deep penetration.
  2. Uterus related problems: There may be problems with the uterus including fibroids and other such growths in the lining which can lead to pain during intercourse. Also, the presence of Endometriosis can also cause pain during such activities. In this condition, the tissue lining usually ends up growing outside the uterus which can cause severe pain and other related symptoms.
  3. Pelvic inflammatory disease: This condition is also known as PID. In such cases, the tissue within the pelvic region can get infected to a great extent which causes a variety of painful symptoms and growths including pain during intercourse.
  4. Ectopic pregnancy: When the fertilised egg develops outside the uterus, it is known as an ectopic pregnancy. In such cases, there may be pain in the region during sexual stimulation and activity.
  5. Vaginal infections: Pain during sexual intercourse may also be experienced due to vaginal infections and other yeast infections as well as a condition known as Vaginismus which can lead to involuntary twitches and spasms that can arise because of fear of getting hurt.
  6. Lack of lubrication: Excessive dryness and lack of lubrication, especially during stimulation can lead to pain during intercourse as well, as the opening does not expand or accommodate the male member properly. In such cases, one can use a lubricant.
  7. Stress: Many times, a stressful situation can keep one from enjoying stimulation which creates dryness and pain during intercourse.

Ensure that you see a doctor in case your problem is more than mere occasional pain, as it could also be a side effect of a more serious ailment. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Sexologist.
