Dear, follow methods by which you can gain your desired height. 1. Follow these exercises regularly and you get the goal of height gain: * first stand straight bare foot on floor, then raise your arms upwards then raise your heels of foot with breathing in, try to stand on heels for 10-12 seconds and slowlylower down your heels back on the floor and breath outthe air. Repeat this exercise 5-8 times in morning. *sit on the floor, stretch you legs together so that both foot touch each other. Now raise your arms upwards together with back straight, now move your hands towardstoes of feet and touch them. Your forehead touching your knees. Slowly revert back the arms and move back arms in normal position. Repeat this exercise 2-4 times daily. You can privately consult me for understanding more exercises. 2. Take 300 ml of rich cream milk, 200 gm of cheese and 2-3 eggs regularly. It will definitely give boost to your bone growth. 3. Sit in sun rays for atleast 8-10 minutes in morning of evenings when the sun rays are not so strong. It will help you by getting adequate quantity of vitamin-d. 4. The growth and height iscontrolled by growth hormone whichis secreted by pituitary gland situated in the brain. So take meditation and have a stressfree lifestyle. Take 6-8 hours of sleep daily. Meditation makes your pituitatry gland healthy and working properly.

Hi, Headache could be because of various reasons. Your headache could be due to stress/fatigue/tension or it could be an indication to another type of headache called migraine. Since the exact cause of your headache and symptoms are not known, I would advise the following - 1. Try to take adequate rest. 2. Distract yourself from TV/ Computer or anything that puts a pressure on your eyes and head. 3. Keep yourself stress free. 4. Try to take adequate sleep. 5. Take Tablet Paracetamol 500 mg after taking food (as and when required). Person with hypothyroidism should have a very healthy diet. Certain foods need to be avoided like cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, mustard, soya beans and all soya based products, coffee. Use whole grain flour, a lot of green vegetables and fruits (avoiding those mentioned), use iodinated salt. Also exercise regularly to avoid adding weight.

Headache can be due to multiple reasons. High blood pressure/ Problems of near or distant vision. Not using spectacles/ change required in glasses power. Nose/ ear / Throat infection/ Sinus infection/Tooth infection.Some time there can be brain tumour. For Treatment of specific cause of disease, consult your doctor. However Rest/ Steam inhalation/ applying Balm on fore head/ Tea /Coffee may help.

Hello lybrate-user. Though redness of eyes has variable causes associated with it, the history of chicken pox does give us some useful information. This means that the redness in your eyes could be due to viral infection affecting the conjunctiva and the cornea of the eye. This should be taken seriously and treated. The reason for the urgency is that at times viral infection of the eye tends to leave a permanent damage causing irreversible blindness in the eye. Otherwise, redness of the eyes has multiple causes associated with it. To enumerate a few common causes: (1) allergy of the eye. It is usually caused by improper eye hygiene. There is a tendency to rub the eyes with fingers, handkerchief, cloth, etc. This is not a good habit because it tends to transmit lots of virus, bacteria and dust into the eye. Allergy usually presents with symptoms of watering (clear water), redness and itching of the eye. (2) infectious conjunctivitis: this is usually associated with white-yellowish discharge. If so, it would be a good idea to go and show to an eye specialist in person. (3) foreign body lodged in the eye. This is more commonly associated with people who drive 2 wheeler vehicles without protection. It occurs more commonly in one eye. Foreign bodies that commonly get lodged are eyelashes, insect wings, small insects, dust particles, iron particles (more common with people working in the iron industry) the solution for a foreign body lodged in the eye would be better provided by an eye specialist at the clinic. (4) raised intraocular pressure: this is a condition known as glaucoma. It is not so common as the previous mentioned conditions. There is usually associated pain in the eyes. It is commonly bilateral (occurs in both eyes). There is usually a positive family history of glaucoma associated in a majority of the cases. (5) inflammation of the coats of the eyeball. This is known as" uveitis" it is also a relatively less common condition. There is associated pain. It would require a thorough eye checkup including the retina-thus a good idea would be to visit the eye specialist in person. For you, the right thing to do would be to visit an eye specialist in person and get your eyes evaluated and treated. Hope my suggestions help. Feel free to contact me for further help.

Loose Anagen Syndrome - How to Know If You are Suffering from it?

Loose anagen syndrome, which falls under the discipline of trichology, is a hair and scalp disorder characterized by the presence of anagen hair having abnormal morphology, which can be painlessly plucked or pulled from the scalp, with ease. The overall appearance shows a thinned hair growth (especially at the back), with growth stopping at the nape of your neck. This disorder is most commonly noted in young children, in girls more so than boys.

Causes
The exact cause for loose anagen syndrome is yet unknown. The predominating speculation about the same, however, suggests that an abnormality found in the anchoring mechanism of the hair might be at the cause of the disorder.

The Science

The inner sheath of the root plays an integral part in helping to anchor the sheath of the hair within the hair follicle. When afflicted by loose anagen syndrome, abnormalities in the keratinization of your inner root sheath, caused as a result of gene coding mutations for cytokeratins are considered to be at the root of the disorder. This leads to impairment in the adherence of the damaged or deformed shafts of hair, to their follicles. This may lead to premature cessation, especially of the anagen phase, and may result in a reduction of hair length.

Contributing Factors
1. Race: Most commonly noted in white skinned people, especially those with blond hair. It may, however, even be evident in case of those of Asian or African descent.
2. Sex: It has a higher incidence for females than males.
3. Age: The most frequently reported issues occur in young blond girls between the ages of 2 to 5 years. However, adults have also been known to suffer from it.

Symptoms
1. If you are affected by this disorder, you will find that hair density and length atypically increase over time and then darken in color.
2. Also, it can be easily uprooted from the scalp and hair pulling causes little to no pain.

Treatment
Minoxidil is usually considered to be a good remedy to this problem. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a dermatologist.

Follow these best methods to easily gain weight and get a healthy body - * to gain weight, first take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calories food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Follow the diet chart in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of bournvita or complan powder with breakfast. * after 2 hours of breakfast, take 2 bananas or a bowl of boiled soyabeans. To increase your hunger & proper digestion of food - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after lunch * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. How to Boost Your Metabolism

A lot of diets claim to help ‘boost’ metabolism – but can you really do anything to help your body burn calories faster?

Let us understand a little about how your metabolism works. The metabolic process involves a complex network of hormones and enzymes that not only convert food into fuel, but also affect how efficiently you burn that fuel. How fast you burn calories is influenced by your age ; your gender  and proportion of lean body mass . So some people have high metabolic rate as compared to others.

Even though you are not born with “skinny genes” , you can still speed up your metabolism i.e.  increase your body’s ability to burn calories faster.

Exercise.  Working out builds muscle. Muscle speeds metabolism. As the body works more efficiently, it processes food faster.

Besides exercise there are other things which boost up your metabolim.

  1.  Spices: Research has found  red peppers  can rev up your metabolism, while also helping you feel full.  Hot sauce, hot peppers, ginger, cloves, cayenne, coriander, bay leaves, and dry mustard share this capacity to boost metabolism.

 

2. Caffeinate: Coffee, tea, or other caffeinated (but low or no-calorie) beverages may also help burn calories faster. In fact, caffeine may boost your metabolic rate for up to three hours after consumption. But don’t overdo caffeine if it gives you the jitters or keeps you up at night. For most people, 3-4 cups per day is tolerable.

 

3. Stay Hydrated: Even mild dehydration has been found to decrease your metabolic rate by 2%, so staying well hydrated is an easy way to help boost overall metabolic rate. People who drink either eight or twelve  glasses of water a day have higher metabolic rates than those who have four.

 

4. Eat More Often:   Small, frequent meals help keep your metabolism  high , and that means you’ll burn more calories overall. When you put too many hours between meals, your metabolism actually slows down to compensate. If you then eat a huge meal — at the same time your metabolism is functioning as if you’re starving — your body wants to hold on to every calorie. While this won’t make much difference on an occasional basis, it can become more difficult to lose weight or maintain weight a healthy weight if you frequently skip meals.
