TMJ pain can be due to misalignment (malocclusion) of or trauma to the teeth or jaw, teeth grinding (bruxism), poor posture, stress or anxiety, arthritis and other inflammatory musculoskeletal disorders, orthodontic braces, and excessive gum chewing. the treatment will vary depending on your condition. apply ice pack on the outer region. try some relaxation exercise for jaw muscles. meditation has to be done to reduce stress level. take soft diet n avoid chewing gums. consult a maxillofacial surgeon for complete diagnosis n treatment planning .

This could be due to oa knee &/or obesity. Physiotherapy along with medicines will help. Do knee exercises. It may have to be further investigated rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with a soft bedding on it. Any way take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Hi = relax and stay positive. = increase fluid intake. = eat seasonal fruits for natural vitamins = do streching of hamstring, quadriceps, and calf muscles. = if you are overweight, reduce weight by cycling or swimming as it gives low impact on joints. = do check your calcium and vit. D = apply moist heat pad to affected joint and muscles. If still you dont get relief consult physiotherapist as there are various causes for leg/ joint pain and some test may be required for further investigation. Best wishes.

Hello, After having liquor in a friend's party 2 days ago, I went blackout. Next day I woke up with calf and knee pain. It has happened with me before but every time it gets self cured after few days but this time, I am feeling an increase in pain. I have also observed hardening in the muscles of my calf. Is this a symptom of some serious rupture? What can be done to get recovered at the earliest. Regards,

Iam 26 year old I had backpain since last year I used many tablets but I cant remove this so what to donow?
Hello, there are many reasons for this type of pain- 1. Overuse of muscle, 2. Deficiency of vitamin d3 or calcium, or lack of water in the body, 3. Postural stress, 4. Muscle strain, etc. Please send me all investigation reports if available. I can help you by teaching correct postural habits and ergonomics, do consult me privately. Till then follow these advises:- 1. Take calcium supplements and calcium rich diet like milk, paneer, buttermilk, cheese etc and sun bath daily to prevent further damage to your joints. 2. Avoid heavy lifting. 3. Avoid squatting and weight bearing activities. 4. Use western toilet. 5. Wear shock absorbing, good quality of shoes while walking. 6. Keep roll of a towel under your knees while sleeping. 7. Perform some gentle exercises and stretching of your all joints before getting out of your bed. 8. Walk straight with shoulder protracted. 9. Perform deep breathing exercises or yoga for proper functioning of lungs. 10. Perform calf pumping exercises, which i'll explain you in the next session. Thanks.

You need to change your sitting pattern at work. Please ensure you take breaks after every one and half hour, walk around and get back to work. Also your chair height should be adjusted so that your hips and knees are at 90 degrees to each other and your feet in contact with ground. The height of your consumer screen should be such that it's centre is right in line with your eyes to avoid excess stress on your neck. Also start some form of daily activity for 45 mins to maintain the flexibility.

My mom have leg pain in last 2 years. We show this problem to physician but it till is pain.
Keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.
