Migraine headache is characterised by unilateral pulsating headache associated with nause/vomiting and photophobia / phonophobia. There are triggers for migraine like sun exposure, certain foods or smell, lack of sleep, excess caffeine etc. The triggers are variable for different patients. Migraine attacks can be managed by simple painkillers like paracetamol but in resistant cases drugs like Sumatriptan may be needed. For frequent episodes of migraine preventive medications are to be taken by prescription. There are various medicines available for this and if control is not achieved with one medicine another drug is to be added. Don't take painkillers daily for migraine headaches , it's better to take the preventive medicines. Painkillers on long term basis can further aggravate the migraine headache into Medication Overuse Headace (Read my health tips on Medication Overuse Headace ) Follow these lifestyle changes to avoid migraine headache 1. Maintain regular sleep wake cycle, even on holiday's. 2. Don't skip meals. Take regular healthy diet with adequate fluids 3. Do not consume excess caffeine / carbohydrates / alcohol or smoke. 4. Exercise daily ( aerobics and cardiovascular) 5. Identify your headache trigger and try to avoid it. 6. Do pranayam daily. 7. Acupuncture treatment has shown some benefits in migraine. In your case there might be benefit from a injection called Occipital nerve block in scalp. Consult a pain specialist for such injection or therapies like dry needling or botulinum injections for your problem. Consult again for further queries.

Hi Thanks for the query Blood in lantrine could be due to dysentery, haemorrhoids or anal fissure. If it is not mixed with stool, then it could be due to anal fissure or piles. So you have to meet near by local General surgeon, doctor will do examination with proctoscopy for the diagnosis. Sit over hot water in a tub Drink plenty of water Avoid oily and outside food Have easily digestible food You may take duphalac solution to smoothen your stool Have food rich in fibre Have probiotics supplement If it is painful you can use xylocaine gel 2% to the anal area I hope I have cleared your query to an extent Take care Regards

Dear doctor, I have a cough problem since last 10 years but its not constantly. And I am also facing mouth ulcer its ...
There are so many causes of mouth ulcers like- -stress or tissue injury is thought to be the cause of simple mouth ulcers. -certain foods, including citrus or acidic fruits and vegetables (such as lemons, oranges, pineapples, apples, figs, tomatoes and strawberries), can trigger a mouth ulcer. -sometimes a sharp tooth surface also trigger mouth ulcers. -some cases of complex mouth ulcers are caused by an underlying health condition, such as an impaired immune system; nutritional problems, such as vitamin b-12, zinc, folic acid, or iron deficiency and gastrointestinal tract disease, such as coeliac disease and crohn's disease. -when you first quit smoking, you may develop more mouth ulcers than normal, but this is temporary. Usually ulcer heals by itself only within 1 week. You can take becosule capsule' once in a day for 1 week for faster recovery. Temporarily you can apply mucopain gel over ulcer for relief.

Yes drinking in plastic bottles is dangerous as it has pthalates (toxins) which causes harm to the body. Use glass bottles instead or store water in a stainless steel container.
