Hi, Tips for wild sex and healthy sex life are A B C A = Abstinence. Don't do wild sex unless you are married to her. B = Be faithful. Do sexual activity only with one partner. The best partner is yourself. Self-pleasuring by masturbation (Hastamaithun is --> Hasta = Hand Maithun = Sex) is the safest sex. Don't do sex with different girls. You are at high risk of STI (Sexually Transmitted Infections) along with host of other complications. C= Condom If you are hell bent upon doing sex with someone who isn't your wife, then at least use a condom. A B C constitutes the mantra for healthy sex. Does this answer your query?

When to do hiv test after risky nite and which test should I do if I want to test after 28 days.

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
When to do hiv test after risky nite and which test should I do if I want to test after 28 days.
Guidelines state that 4th generation HIV tests (antigen/antibody) will detect 95% of infections four weeks after exposure. A negative test after four weeks then needs to be confirmed with a second test three months after the risk. This is in case you take longer than four weeks to generate an antibody response.

Post Pregnancy Sex - Tips To Help You Manage It!

Post Pregnancy Sex - Tips To Help You Manage It!

The post-partum period is the first few (usually six) weeks after delivering the baby. Sex might be the last thing you think of during this time. Sexual desires might decrease due to the following:

  1. Healing from the incision (in case of a vaginal delivery)
  2. Cesarean birth healing (abdominal incisions)
  3. Fatigue caused by the whole birthing process and pregnancy
  4. Stress caused by the newly born baby (especially more so in case of triplets or twins)
  5. Shifts in the hormonal levels
  6. Breastfeeding related breast sores
  7. Emotional difficulties such as parenting anxiety, relationship problems with the baby’s father
  8. Postpartum blues

After the incision (if any) has fully healed along with the delicate vaginal tissues, it is generally safer to have intercourse. It might take a few weeks for the healing process to fully complete. The doctor will be able to give a more personal advice on when it is ok to start having sex again. Usually in case of a normal delivery, the waiting period is 6 weeks. The emotional readiness and physical comfort is extremely important as well. In a lot of cases it might take up to a year for normal sex life of the couple to resume again.

Also, there is a common misconception amongst many couples that during the postpartum period, having a baby again isn’t possible. Condoms should be used if you aren’t abstaining from sex in the postpartum period. This helps in avoiding an unplanned pregnancy and the complications that can arise from two successive deliveries.

The body goes through a lot of changes after giving birth. Low libido affects the sex drive. The body needs time to recuperate and might not be ready for sex immediately after giving birth as it switches itself to give care for the new born. A break is often necessary as the body and mind heal.

Vaginal dryness in the postpartum weeks is also very common. Lube and lots of it can help. The vagina, in the initial weeks, stretches out quite a bit. It slowly starts returning to its original contracted state as the muscles become tight again.

It’s also important to remember that you can be intimate with your partner after you give birth to a baby, without having sex. Body contact and cuddles are ways of expressing your affection towards your partner. Love doesn’t need to be dependent on sex! If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a sexologist.

Avoid stress, physical and mental exertion, have adequate sound sleep for 7-8 hours daily in the night 3. Go for regular exercise 4. Practice yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercise to calm your mind, control your emotion and relieve stress 5. Check for refractive error, sinusitis hemoglobin, bp 6. Hye. Thankyou for the query. You must understand that you need to eat the right foods at the right time. Just thinking that a certain food is healthy does not justify eating it randomly in any amount or at any time. Your breakfast is too heavy and you cannot just take a lot of DryFruit. Also if the gaps between meals are too long or you have taken nuts after a heavy meal it will definitely lead to an upset digestion. So, be sensible with food intake. Eat in moderation and in amounts that is enough for the body's requirements.

Dear lybrate user with the limited amount of information provided it appears that you are having gastritis. The first and foremost treatment of which is life style modification like regular exercise, diet modification as advised and liberal fluid intake. Try having small frequent meals, avoid tea/coffee/carbonated drinks, avoid chilli, stop smoking and consuming alcohol if you do. Hope this solves your query. Try with these life style measures first. If any concern then feel free to contact we will then discuss and start you on medication if needed as every one has a different requirement of medicine.

What are the symptoms of diabetes at initial stage? How to be careful from such diseases kindly guide me.
Mr Shadabghulam, Diabetes mellitus usually hardly produces any symptoms, therefore, many persons do not realise that they have diabetes. When fully developed it can cause excessive urination, excessive hunger, excessive thirst, unexplained tiredness and weight loss. There are two major types of diabetes T1 and T2. T1 is due to autoimmune problem and can only be treated by insulin injections. T2 is either due to lack of Insulin or resistance its action or both. This is a familial conditionOver weight or obesity and inactivity plus junk foods also contribute for it. . It can be prevented by regular exercise, maintaining normal weight and having a balanced diet.
