take plain water steam once a day avoid eating curd, icecreams, pickles, papad, citrus fruits, watermelon, green skin bananas, pineapple, strawberries, custard apple, guavas. Stop using mosquito repellants. Revert back

Having strain & pain from right hip to feet autometically released after 20-30min. Walk, no definciencies in x-ray, using" gabapin me" as advised by doctor since ten days. Advise proper treatment please ?

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I want to know your detailed clinical history, your relevant investigations, your treatment records till now. It helps me to better understand your condition and prescribe accordingly. You have only mentioned leg pain, do you also have back pain with off and on radiation to legs, x rays will normally not show anything since it shows only bony structure and not nerves. Gabapin is drug used for management of neuropathic pain but dose depends upon your symptoms. Please also mention your co-morbid conditions and drug allergy. Dear Mr Amartya , pls do elaborate your condition in details in line of the time of pain occurence, severity, frequency of occurence, type of pain viz. aching, cramping, activities that increases your pain etc. Muscle pain can arrise due to several underlying causes, unless the cause is known, the correct line of treatment cannot be determined. Generally muscular pain arrise when your already weak muscles are put to strain, lack of exercise & proper sleep, sedantary lifestyle, nervous weakness, deficiency in calcium or magnesium etc.

Hello, first of all you should know what is backache and by which factors it caused and aggravated. The usual cause of low back pain is the sedentary lifestyle that we lead these days. There is hardly any movement. walking, running and cycling like activities are also not a part of our daily routine. To add to it, our diet consists more and more of junk food. Fresh fruits, vegetables and high fibre foods are consumed less and less. These daily practices lead to obesity. The increased body weight puts lot of pressure on the spine which has to bear all the extra unwanted weight. The back muscles which are already weak due to lack of exercise and wrong posture are unable to cope with this increased load. This causes pain in the back muscles. Management for Back Pain:-Along with medicines for relieving pain, one needs to identify the cause and correct it. This may require some medicines or some correction in your posture or reducing weight or improving your lifestyle. At the same time, there is a need to work on the local muscle strengthening. Back muscles need to be strengthened so that they can bear the weight of the upper body. For this exercises of the back muscles are very helpful. Regular walking is also very helpful as it is a wholesome exercise of the body, improves blood circulation and helps lose weight. Most importantly if you are overweight then losing weight is an important part of the whole treatment plan .Long term use of painkillers for low back pain is harmful Treatment for back pain:- Homeopathic medicines are very helpful. They not only treat the acute stages but are also used for the treatment of chronic back pain.Selection of the exact remedy depends upon the individual symptoms of the person.So share the complete symptom picture for the proper treament. I am suffering with Frozen shoulder since last one year. My age is 51. I do not have diabetes. My uric acid level is 8. I am doing some light exercises. My work is on computer working in Accounts dept. I can easily up my hand. Only in morning pain is more. And also suggest which massage hot or Ice is useful. My condition is same not increase or reduce. Now suggest your view.

its not frozen shoulder. do hot fermentation and tk muscle relaxant medicine. avoid strain full activity. if pain is constant then do physiotherapy treatment for 10 days it will cure

Hi doctors, im having severe pain in both my knees and sometimes its on the right, left and both and ive been to the doctor but they just prescribed pain killers and it doesn't really help, how can I help to ease the pain and any idea if it could be arthritis? Please see a Rheumatologist personally. One needs to examine your knee joints and see if there are any signs of inflammation (like swelling, tenderness). Deatiled history regarding other joints involvement would also be of help.

According your age you r suffering oa tk x-ray and do physiotherapy treatment for few days if oa present in it knee then you can't get permanent solution only can maintain your knees pain by physiotherapy and exercises knee transplant is the last option to permanent solution but physiotherapy is best option then surgery to your mobility and activity.

Sir, If pain is not reducing, in fact increasing then quit gym for a while. Give your body rest for at least 5 days. Sometimes due to weight lifting muscles get strained. Give your body some time to recover. If pain still persists ,Consult Physiotherapist immediately. I hope I helped you. THANK YOU!

Avoid GYM totally better do spot running no sports only swim 20 min max do not press too on your operated shoulder joint bouncing the ball is better fir you no bowling no batting.

Here are some tips for how to handle your back pain: -stop normal physical activity for the first few days. This will help relieve your symptoms and reduce any swelling in the area of the pain. -Apply heat or ice to the painful area. One good method is to use ice for the first 48 to 72 hours, and then use heat. Take pain relievers medicine. --While sleeping, try lying in a curled-up, fetal position with a pillow between your legs. If you usually sleep on your back, place a pillow or rolled towel under your knees to relieve pressure. -Find a mattress with back support. A good mattress should provide support for the natural curves and alignment of the spine. Medium-firm mattresses usually provide more back pain relief than firm mattresses. -Do not perform activities that involve heavy lifting or twisting of your back for the first 6 weeks after the pain begins. -Avoid bending forward and sitting in a place for long time -Good posture plays a key role in your spine health, helping to prevent additional back and neck pain and even injuries to spinal structures. Try to be aware of your posture and make good posture part of your normal routine. -head up, shoulders back, rear tucked under -Stand and walk with correct posture -Sit with support -Lift and carry carefully -And finally, keep moving:-Maintaining a static position for too long—more than twenty or thirty minutes at a time—is hard on the back. Prolonged static posture can slowly deplete elasticity from the tissues. By simply moving—be it a change of position, a stretch, or a short walk—the tissue elasticity needed to protect your joints can be restored and the associated discomfort reduced. -Stretching and strengthening exercises are important. But, starting these exercises too soon after an injury can make your pain worse. -Some Physiotherapy treatment like IFT current can give you relief. -Consult a Physiotherapist for detail assessment and management of your back pain. Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings.
