Hello, You can take(if no drug allergy) Tablet Pantocid 40 Mg before food once a day for 2-3 days.. I am giving you some health tips to avoid acidity 1.Take small frequent meal kindly take 5-6 small meal in whole day 2.Take 6-8 glass of water in a day 4. Dear lybrate user with the information provided it appears that you are having gastritis. The first and foremost treatment of which is life style modification like regular exercise, diet modification as advised and liberal fluid intake. Try having small frequent meals, avoid tea/coffee/carbonated drinks, avoid chilli, stop smoking and consuming alcohol if you do. Hope this solves your query. Try with these life style measures first. Regarding your thyroid issues it is advisable if you can keep a check on regular intervals.

1. Take bland diet, avoid spicy, oily, fried and junk food2 eat and drink slowly. 3. Avoid fatty food, carbonated drink like soda/ soft drink/beer, chewing gum, sucking hard candy etc, 5. Avoid gas forming food like onion, bean, peas, potato, lentil, lettuce, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, mushroom, whole wheat bread. Fruits like apple/peach/pear 6. Avoid stress, anxiety 7. Stop alcohol/ smoking 8. Go for regular exercise and avoid sedentary life style 9. Take one tablet of pan40 in the morning 10. Take unienzyme 1 tablet thrice daily after food for few days.

I am 22 years old, I am suffering from dysentery for 8 days. Doctor treat me with Ofloxacin IP and Ornidazole IP for 5 days and three mikacin injection each of 250 mg. But I am not fully cure. 3 to 5 times a day I have bloody stool. Is that a serious issue? What should I do?

hi. you should pass adequate urine , take adequate liquid or semisolid diet. dehydration is a major prob in dysentery. upgrade antibiotics.

lybrate-user. Normaly pt. Remain alright after operation but you have to take care of your eating habits. Are you diabetic. If not please Take three full meals with lot of vegetables, fruits,salad, plenty of water so that you pass semi solid stools without straining or you can add stool softener in your daily routine. Sit in warm water for 4-5 mints 2 time a day. Ihope problem will improve.

Hello, I am giving you some tips to prevent constipation: 1. take 6-8 glass of water in a day 2.Regular Physical activity Keeping mobile and active will greatly reduce your risk of getting constipation. Ideally do at least 150 minutes of physical activity every week. 3.You should have about 30 g of fibre a day. You can increase your fibre intake by eating more: I am giving you list of some fibre containing food fruit vegetables wholegrain rice whole wheat pasta wholemeal bread seeds oats 4.Toilet habits Never ignore the urge to go to the toilet Consult Physician for Further Management

Hi Doctor, I am having lots of hesitation to visit a hospital in regards to my issue. I am having a pain near the anus/rectum portion. I could find a bulge in that area and it is paining always. No bleeding. Kindly tell me what is the problem and proper medication. Note: I am a marketing person and travel frequently. So, always I have the fear that what will I do if I need to go to toilet while travelling. So, I use the toilets at least 3 times a day. This might be a reason for the problem I guess. Regards,

hi during travelling u can go for toilet when ever it actually comes .. I would suggest that u should never put lot of pressure while passing stool. avoid non veg diet and fast foods .. take high fibre diet and plenty of fluids apply lol cream 5% for applying thrice a day for ten days . syrup lactulose 3tsf thrice a day for ten days isapgol powder 3tsf thrice a day for ten days sit in warm water for 15 min thrice a day. Don't worry u will be olrite

Hi, It may be a cut wound due to pressurised defaecation due to constipation. Apply P-Cool ointment to the anal region. Please follow these tips to get rid of constipation: 1. Drink 2-3 lts of water per day. 2. Consume lot of fibre in your diet like raw vegetables, fruits, whole grains, oats. Etc. 3. Eat one fully ripe big banana at bed time. 4. Drink one glass of hot milk with one spoon of ghee in it at bedtime. 5. Take your food at regular intervals. Avoid spicy and oil fried food. 6. Never curb the urge to pass stools. 7. Never put in lot of pressure to pass stools. 8. Take 1tsf of Isabgol powder with a glass of hot water at bedtime to get an easy evacuation. 9. Do sitz bath twice daily.

Hi, Kindly include jeera water instead of plain water. Take 1/2tsp fennal seeds after every meal. Include garlic along with food. Consume hing water for instant relief. Hing water - 1 pinch hing + 1 pinch salt in 5 ml of warm water. For Vit D - Take calcirol sachets - 1 sachet once a week for 6 weeks. This will restore the Vit D levels to normalcy. Regards

hello Lybrate user your food is not only the major cause for gas formation but your timing of taking meal is also important. if you skip your any meal especially breakfast it will cause acidity and gas formation. so don't skip food take all major meals on time. drink plenty of water take fiber rich diet. start yoga and meditation. for more query pls consult.

Hello, You are normal and there is no reason to be worried about it. It so happens as, the seminal vesicle, producing seminal fluid ,situated at the top of the prostate gland lies right against the wall of the Anal cavity. Though the pressure against the prostate could have ejected semen through urethra during passing hard stool with slight straining pressure. You should go for tests stool r/m, stool c/s, Lft . blood sugar , Examination of the rectum and lower, or sigmoid, colon (sigmoidoscopy).Examination of the rectum and entire colon (colonoscopy). An X-ray of the rectum during defecation (defecography). Avoid smoking/alcohol if you take. Eat green veg. More fiber foods. Avoid fatty foods,junk foos,oily meal,avoid stress,non-veg.,. drink plenty of water.take digestive meal ,salaad,green veg,whole grain foods,oats.go for walk. You can take tab. Charcol at night. Syp. Aristozyme 10 ml thrice a day.syp. Livoluk 10 ml at night. These can help cure in constipation.

Hi lybrate-user, I appreciate you seeking help. I would recommend the following for long lasting relief - (a) streamline diet & lifestyle. Consume fresh curd, rice, vegetable stew, buttermilk, fresh ripe fruits especially pomegranate, bael, banana etc all. Use fresh turmeric freely while preparing your food items. (b) stay well hydrated - take at least 8 to 10 glasses of clean and filtered water daily. (c) avoid flesh foods. Tea, coffee, sweets, cakes, pastries, greasy, oily, salty, spicy foods including fast foods are best avoided too. I suffer from acidity usually but sometimes it gets worse and I cannot sleep please tell me what to do.
1. Drink 100-500 ml of tender coconut water twice a day for relief from hyperacidity Mix equal parts of powdered fennel, licorice root, basil leaves and coriander seeds. Have ½ teaspoon of this mixture with ½ teaspoon of powdered rock candy (or unrefined sugar) 15 minutes before lunch and dinner. 2.Make a powdered mixture of equal parts of rock candy (or unrefined sugar), fennel, and green cardamom. Whenever you feel heartburn, mix 1 teaspoon of the mixture in a glass of cold milk and drink. 3.Avoid tea, coffee, and carbonated or alcoholic beverages.Especially stop drinking bed tea. 4.Avoid using garlic, ginger, onions, tomatoes, and vinegar in cooking. 5.Curd should be strictly avoided at night. 6. Practice Yoga and Pranayama such as Vajrasana, Bhujangasana, Salabhasana, Bhastrika Pranayama,Shitali Pranayama and Shitkari Pranayama. 7.Drink plenty of fluids and water. 8. Avoid constipation. 9. Revert back after 10 days. Take Care.
