Hello, it is a natural process to have dark or fair complexion. One can't change the complexion completely. It is basically the glow on the skin which is mainly required. For the same I suggest you to eat good diet with lots or red fruits and green vegetables. Use a sun protective measure. All the best.

I had a surgical depressed scar on left jaw of mandibular line, due to bike accident after 2 years the scar is not in better shape. I had done the scar revision but it not make any differences it also become hypertrophy raise scar after revision so to minimize it I had taken 4 setting of laser ipl treatment so now it settle down but it is not improve much in texture (Color) and it is not matching with surrounding skin and also depress in shape Kindly find the attach Pic. I know scar cannot be remove completely but it can be improve so I just want to know in my case is it possible to improve the scar without any surgical revision .I also heard about Fat Filler (remove my own fat and fill it in depressed location) but does it will help in improve the depressed scar permanently or it is temporary .AND also hair is not coming because of that I have to shave daily I cannot have full bread because hair loss at scar, I want to know is it possible to transplant hair on scar and if it is done what will the percentage of hair will remain and grow properly after transplant ,and what is the risk factor ,which transplant technique can be safe for scars. What will be the cost.

Fillers are temporary and can last for about 1-2 years. You can try CO2 fractional laser to improve the appearance of the scar. If the scar is still hypertrophic then your dermatologist can give you intralesional injection to make it more flatter.

I have dark circles, what should I do to remove these and dark completion so tell me how should I get fair?

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Hi. Dark circles can be temporary (means happens after any recent or chronic diseases or underlying medical condition, allergies, sinus infections and nasal congestions, lower eyelid laxity, fluid retention, hormonal imbalances, hyperpigmentation, aging, sun-exposure, insufficient sleep, worm-infestation, nutritional deificiency, working long hrs. on computer, lack of rest, stress/ tension, etc.) which can be improved by fixing the underlying cause or the problem or can be inherited from your parent's genes which can't be treated or cured! Management: Eat healthy and on time. Avoid junk. Drink plenty of water (as dehydration can cause dull or patchy skin). Sleep well. Wear anti-glare spectacles while working on computer. The area under your eyes has very sensitive skin, so never use chemical bleach. Reduce your stress/ tension through yoga, meditation or any other exercises (it not only improves your blood circulation, but also reduces the production of stress hormones by the body as well as increases happy hormones in the body). Use sunglasses regularly when you are in the sun and not to forget to apply a thick layer of Bakson's Suncare Sunscreen liberally, 20-30 minutes before stepping out in the sun and apply the same again after 3-4 hours if you have exposure to sunlight for long hours. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Cina 1M/ one dose daily at night for 10 days. Schwabe's Alfalafa Tonic/ 1 tsp thrice a day daily for 20 days and revert me back about the condition. Apply Bakson's Under Eye Cream twice daily (in morning and at night) and Medicynth's Whitch Hazel cream - in morning and at night daily on your whole face.

Start using Bakson's Facewash, followed by Bioforce's Blooume - 55 ointment (for clear skin) twice daily and also apply liberally (means just spread a thick layer of sunscreen on your face) Bakson's Suncare Sunscreen, 20-30 minutes before stepping out under the sun and keep repeating the application of sunscreen after every 3-4 hours again after washing your face. Use of fuller's earth (multani mitti) + rose water on face till gets dried up and then rinse it off.

Hey there I am 17 years old and I ha be many pox marks on my arms. The scar I get through the years do not go very easily. I have seen some people whose scars are easily faded in a few days I wanted to ask why my scars take so long to fade and How do I accelerate it? I am having a healthy diet also I will be grateful if you can suggest some good ointments for the same purpose. Thanks.

Hello. Pox marks take some times to clear. Eat vitamin e rich diet. Nuts, olive oil, hazzel nuts, corns, mango, kiwi, broccoli, pumpkin, dried apricort, avocado, papaya etc are good source of vitamin e. In some people there is slow process of clearing marks. It can be due to low collagen level. Eat healthy diet. With this follow these steps:- 1. Use lemon and rose water mixture. Take them in equal quantity and apply on skin with help of cotton. After 15 mins wash with plain water. Apply this mixture only on spots. When you use this method always apply sunscreen daily. 2. Use curd and termeric paste. Take required amount of curd and add a pinch of haldi. Mix it and apply on skin. When it dries up wash with plain water. 3. Tomatoa juice is also good for lightening skin colour. 4. Apply coconut oil twice a day. 5. Avoid using any soap. Use curd for bathing. For medicine you can consult me. Good luck in life.

I'm female 31. I don't remember whether I got burnt or it happened just but I got burnt like wound on my right breast. It's not heeling from 3 weeks. I'm worried it can be breast cancer. Last week I got white peep from the wound. Please reply.

MD
Dermatologist, Nagpur
I think your wound has got a secondary infection and needs to be shown to a doctor. Doesn't look like you have to worry about cancer but infection in the breast can lead to abscesses. Please take a professional opinion in person.

Hi. Sir I am john .i had oily face and moderate black skin tone. Can you suggest me any best fairness and oil free cream. For me.

MBBS, DNB (Dermatology)
Dermatologist, Mumbai
The best way to get your skin glowing is to increase oxygen circulation in your body with the help of exercises, yoga. Taking break between hectic work schedule and splashing your face with cold water 2-3 times a day is helpful. Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Have a balanced diet, eat more iron and zinc containing foods like dates, nuts and dry fruits. Include Skimmed milk, cottage cheese, lentils in diet. Vitamin C, Zinc and Vitamin B are important nutrients for great skin. So include lot of fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains in your daily diet.

How can I reduce pimples and gain back the faded skin color, from little dark to a fair one?

BAMS
Ayurveda, Ambala
These are the methods to treat fastly pimples: • Imbalance in hormone level causes excessive sebum production and causes acne. So do not take stress and do exercise daily such as running, jogging and long breathing exercises. • Do YOGASANA daily. Especially do SINHASANA & SARVANGASANA daily. • Drink 7 -8 glass of water daily and Take proper sleep of 6 to 8 hrs . . • Do not touch your pimple because your finger transfer bacteria to it and make it worse. If you touch it then clean your face with water. • Take cucumber and papaya pulp .Mix it well and add 1 tablespoon Turmeric. Make a paste and apply it on face and leave it for 15 minutes. Apply one teaspoon Besan with one teaspoon of curd and a pinch of haldi (turmeric) mix it with water then apply for 15 minutes then rinse off it with water . • Take 2 teaspoon of RAKTASHODAK SYRUP of BAIDYANATH company once a day.
