What is the size of black spots? if the are age spots then they are harmless and don't need treatment. For cosmetic reasons, age spots can be lightened with skin-bleaching products or removed using laser. However, preventing age spots by avoiding the sun and using sunscreen may be the easiest way to maintain your skin's youthful appearance. Do reply back for medication prescriptions. Hello, Take BC No. 12, 5 tabs twice daily . Alpha HA, 15 drops with warm water twice daily. Take Ruta 30 , 3 drops twice daily. Also get your eyes tested by an eye specialist. Revert me after 15 days.

You should have proper sleep hygiene. Sleep at same time daily. No coffee or tea after 3 pm set the room temp at 70 degrees farenheit take a bath 2 hrs before sleep with epsom salt use diffuser with lavender essential oils in bed room lack of proper sleep is the trigger factor for chronic lifestyle diseases.

Hello lybrate user- in indian conditions where females don't take proper diet it is very common in major part of the population to get this kind of complaints. This might be due to improper food habits and worms in your intestine, or excess bleeding during menses. Try this ayurvedic treatment- a) do not drink coffee and other things to increase your bp it will further ruin your blood quality. B) avoid late night sessions and fast food. C) do not eat too much spicy food and increase dairy products like ghee and milk in your diet. D) practice surya namaskar daily in the morning. E) sttart tablet abhra loha 1 twice daily and shatavari kalpa 1 tsp twice daily. F) if having menstrual disturbances then start ashoka rishta 2 tsp twice daily with water after meals. This treatment not only will make your bp normal but also improve your digestion and make your skin glow.

Hi there ~ Increase Your Running Stamina with Interval Training Use interval training. There are several benefits to interval training that will help you get the most out of your runs, and increase your stamina.[1] Improve cardiovascular capacity. Endurance running can take wind out of you. By using the interval training, you'll increase your anaerobic capacity (oxygen-depleting). And when you combine this with aerobic capacity (oxygen-building with easy runs and long runs), these will end up making you faster. Burning calories. Bursts of energy (the high-intensity part of interval training) will increase the amount of calories you burn. This is true even for relatively short bursts. It adds interest to your running routine. It may seem a small thing, but boredom with your normal running routine can make it much harder to stay motivated. Perform steady intervals. This is the easiest way to incorporate interval training. You simply alternate equal periods of high and low-intensity running. Start with a ten to fifteen minute warm-up. Start with a rapid walk followed by a slow jog, picking up speed at the end of the warm-up to break into a full run. This will make sure your body is properly warmed-up before you begin the intense speed work If you are first starting out doing intervals, you need to train your body to get used to the hard intervals. Run at high speed for one minute followed by two minutes of slow running or walking. Repeat these intervals six to eight times. Do this for several weeks until you feel comfortable with the rest. Then lower your recovery/rest time by 30 seconds until you are running 50/50 burst (such as one minute burst followed by one minute rest). Make sure you and your body are ready to increase the intensity of the faster pace intervals and reduce your rest/recovery period before you reduce the rest/recovery time. End with a fifteen to twenty-five minute cool-down. Ease from a run to a light jog, and then gradually slow to a walk towards the end of the cool-down period. Use pyramid interval training. Pyramid intervals start with short bursts of high intensity and then build up so that the longest period of high-intensity training is in the middle of your workout. Then, you gradually pull back to the shorter burst of intensity before completing your cool down. This is somewhat more complex than steady intervals, and you may want to use a stopwatch to maintain your times. Warm up for ten to fifteen minutes. As described above, begin with a rapid walk followed by a light jog, picking up speed at the end of the warmup so that you are running at high intensity at the end of the warmup period. Run for 30 seconds at high intensity. Then, run at low intensity for one minute. Continue as follows: 45 seconds high, one-minute, fifteen-second low. 60 seconds high, one-minute, thirty-second low. 90 seconds high, two minute low. 60 seconds high, one-minute, thirty-second low. 45 seconds high, one-minute, fifteen-second low. 50 seconds high, one minute low. Finish up with a twenty-minute to thirty-minute cool down, ending at a comfortable walk. NOTE--> When you start out any interval training program, you need to make sure your body is adjusted and ready to start it. Doing too much too soon can lead to injuries. Just like when you are building up your mileage, you don't just build up. You gradually build up. IF you are pointing to a specific race, you do longer intervals with longer rest several months before the race. As the race approaches, you increase the intensity and shorten the recovery. Do variable intervals. If you play sports like tennis in addition to running, you know that speed and stamina requirements vary according to the conditions of the game. Variable intervals help you to mix up short and long high-intensity intervals in an unpredictable pattern, which more closely mimics the irregular bursts of speed that are part of typical playing conditions. Warm up for ten to fifteen minutes of easy running. Mix it up. Run for two minutes at high intensity and then jog slowly for two-minutes, thirty-seconds. Run at top speed for 30 seconds and then jog for 45 seconds. Mix up your intervals at random. Just make sure that you rest for longer periods after longer high-intensity intervals than you do for short bursts. When starting out, keep your rest periods slightly longer until your body is ready to shorten the rest intervals. Cool down for fifteen to twenty-five minutes. Use the interval setting on a treadmill. When you run intervals on a treadmill, the machine mixes up both the speed and the incline, presenting you with new and unpredictable challenges. Just make sure to warm up and cool down afterward if these periods aren't built into the interval training program. Add weight training to your running. Weight training increases your running economy, which means that you use oxygen more efficiently during your run. Try doing free weights, machines or other strength training exercises three times per week. Do high-powered bike intervals. Pedaling on a high-tension exercise bike setting works your leg muscles even more than running uphill, without the impact on your joints. While you pedal on an exercise bike, gradually increase the tension until you can barely move the wheel. Stand up and do intervals of pedaling as fast as you can. Rest and lower the tension between intervals. For example: Stand and pedal at high tension for 30 seconds. Then sit, lower the tension and pedal more slowly for 1 minute. Keep alternating between standing and pedaling at high intensity and sitting and pedaling at low intensity for 1 minute. You can also perform pyramid intervals of 30, then 45, then 60, then 90 seconds. Then, bring it down by doing 60, 45 and then 30 second intervals. Be sure to do the lower-intensity seated pedaling between the high-intensity intervals. Sign up for a spinning class—the instructor will guide the class through a prepared set of pedaling exercises that will dramatically increase your stamina. Swim some laps. You can either swim as a break after a hard workout or simply include some swimming to change up your routine. Swimming has the added advantage of working your upper body muscles, which are typically underdeveloped in runners Increase your mileage by 10 percent per week. For example, if you run 2 miles (3.2 km) per day, then add 2⁄10 mile (0.3 km) to your daily run for a week. Continue adding 10 percent to your run to increase your stamina. But make sure to alternate your training. For example, if you run 20 miles (32 km) a week, you will increase it to 22 miles (35 km) the next week. But the week after that, bring your mileage back down thus allowing your body to adapt (so run maybe 18-20 miles). Then the week after that, take it up to 25 miles (40 km) a week, followed by reducing your mileage to 21–23 miles (34–37 km) then following week. Gradually build up your running. The peak mileage you pick depends on the race you would like to do.

Apply pranacharya face glow on your face for 15 minutes then wash it with warm water. Take pranacharya b clean syrup 2-2 tsf twice a day. Take pranacharya allergin capsule 1-1 twice a day. Wash your face with any good ayurvedic soap containing neem etc.

Bad breath could occur commonly due to 1 deposits in teeth 2 decayed teeth 3 decayed teeth with pus discharge. If none of the above, it can also be due to ulcer in stomach if any. Use of mouth wash might help. Please get it diagnosed by dentist before starting treatment.

Hi, Fever may be simple/ self-limiting viral infection, or it may a symptom some serious illness like typhoid/ malaria/ Dengue/ TB or many more like that. It is decided by symptoms provided by you, and a battery of investigations. Therefore, follow the advice and consult doctor with detail symptoms. 1. Wear light and cotton cloths, it helps in cooling of body. 2. Take Tablet Paracetamol 500 mg (as and when required; after food) for fever (more than 99 F) for 3 days. Maximum 3 tablets with gap of 8 hours can be taken in a day. 3. If fever persists, do cold sponging (with cold water even ice water if needed) to lower down temperature. 4. Drink plenty of fluids. 5. Take adequate rest and proper sleep. Going to work, working out may just make you feel worse as the extra action adds stress to your body. Inadequate sleep decreases immunity of body, which causes worsening of illness. 6. Take proper diet preferably homemade like dalia, khichdi, rice, dahl, chapatti, vegetable soups or steamed veggies. 7. If fever is more than 5-7 days, Get done investigations CBC (Hb, TLC, DLC, Platelets, ESR only), Widal for typhoid/ RDT or PBF for Malaria/ and Sputum AFB if you have cough or chest pain from nearby Laboratory. Consult again if symptoms persist or worsen. ***Get Well Soon*** “Cold sponging is the best treatment if fever is uncontrolled.”

Chapped or dry lips are a common problem that can be painful and unattractive. Common symptoms are dryness, redness, cracking, flaking, and tender or sore lips.Some of the main causes are vitamin deficiency, allergic reaction, dehydration, smoking, excessive licking of lips, sun exposure and harsh weather. Castor oil is good treatment for dry and chapped lips. • Simply apply castor oil to your lips several times a day. • You can also make a soothing treatment using one teaspoon of castor oil, one teaspoon of glycerin and a few drops of fresh lemon juice. I had unprotected sex on 14th nov 2015 and took an emergency contraceptive ipill within an hour. I was supposed to get my periods on 18th nov. But on 23rd nov I had light bleeding for two days (Instead of the usual 3 days). I have not got my periods again till now in dec 23rd or jan. 23rd I have taken multiple home pregnancy tests over the weeks and all have turned out negative. I visited a doctor who prescribed meprate (Medroxyprogesterone Acetate I. P. 10mg) as a five day course. One tablet in the morning and one in the evening for 5 days. I am on the 3rd day of the course. Please explain what meprate does also, could I be pregnant? If I am not when can I expect my period?

Meprate - medroxy progesterone acetate- is a synthetic progestogen structurally related to natural progesterone with actions and uses similar to all other progestogens in general use. It is used for the treatment of secondary amenorrhoea - to bring the periods and for abnormal uterine bleeding not due to organic pathology in suitable doses. It is also used in mild endometriosis and for re- programming of menstrual cycle. The dose needs to be adjusted according to the severity of the problem and the individual.

do not take asprin in fever now a days. go for tests cbc,mp,widal, ns1,blood c/s, after tests you can take antibiotics medicines by consult a doctor. feel cold then cover body with warm cloths, avoid dust area, clean body, change cloths daily, change bed sheet daily, avoid stress.avoid non-veg.,avoid alcohol intake if smokes avoid also that. Cold sponging if get high fever. drink warm water, juice,green veg. Fever is not considered medically significant until body temperature is above 100.4 F (38 C). Fever serves as one of the body's natural defences against bacteria and viruses which cannot live at a higher temperatures. Also, the body's defence mechanisms seem to work more efficiently at a higher temperature -Fevers of 104 F (40 C) or higher may be dangerous and demand immediate treatments like: -Acetaminophen (dolo-650 mg) twice or thrice can be used to lower a fever . Aspirin should not be used for fever in children/ adolescents or during a viral illness. -Wear loose fitting clothes and don’t overdress. Overdressing can cause temperature to rise further. -Tepid water (85 F [30 C]) bathsmay help bring down a fever. -The body should be cooled with a wet sponge. -A fever can cause severe dehydration. Drink plenty of fluids.. Have citrus fruits, particularly Vitamin C rich ones like mausami,Amla juice etc. -Take light and easily digestible home cooked meals .avoid outside food -Wash hands frequently with soap and water especially after returning from public places or public transport. -Further therapy depends on the cause of fever like urinary infection/typhoid or malaria/dengue infection and the accompanying symptoms that need to be investigated and treated accordingly

Dear lybrate user, you need to take homoeopathic carbo veg 200, 5 drops, thrice daily, in empty stomach. You can also try homoeopathic liver tonic liv-t (sbl company). Take 20 ml of the aforesaid liver tonic, thrice daily, after meals. Try to drink as much water as you can drink daily. Try to get an uninterrupted sleep of minimum 8 hours.
