To increase weight you need to focus on high protein foods and good fats along with fruits and vegetables In high protein 1. Paneer 2. Chicken 3. Sprouts 4. 10 Health Benefits Of Peanut Butter That Will Surprise You

If you are hungry at a time that is well past your bedtime, a dollop of peanut butter spread on crackers makes for a handsome little meal. Researchers suggest that if you can control your intake, peanut butter is actually helpful for your health.

The benefits of peanut butter are as follows:

  1. Peanut butter contains a fairly large amount of unsaturated fats. The consumption of a moderate amount of peanut butter regularly keeps your heart in good shape.

  2. Peanut butter has high potassium content. Consumption of a moderate amount of peanut butter is useful to combat the ill effects of the harmful sodium content, which is abundant in most of the foods you eat on a daily basis. Potassium also helps in the growth and damage repair of the body muscles while aiding clotting of the blood vessels.

  3. Peanut butter is also a rich source of antioxidants, magnesium and fibres (which regulate the body function) all of which make peanut butter a rare combination of taste and health.

  4. Peanut Butter also contains a rich amount of protein. A serving of 2 table-spoons of peanut butter contains roughly 7 grams of protein.

  5. A moderate consumption of peanut butter might also help in providing energy for a sustained period, as it contain fats and proteins from which the required calorie intake is fulfilled.

  6. Consuming controlled amount of peanut butter might reduce your chances of suffering from diabetes; cutting the risks by about a whopping 30 percent.

Hello Lybrate user Focus on 1. Portion control while eating 2. Drink 3 to 3.5 ltrs of water everyday 3. Take high protein diet like chicken, boiled eggs 4. Add lots of fruits and salads in you r diet 5. To reduce belly fat do abs exercise on every day basis as well eat flax seed 2 spoons after food and walnuts every day which are rich in omega 3 will help you to reduce belly fat.

Hi Lybrate user To gain weight you need to increase intake of protein rich foods in diet 1. Take 10 - 15almonds, 5- 6 walnuts everyday 2. Take whole grains curry 3. Paneer cheese more in diet 4. Exercise for 1 hr daily.

Hi lybrate-user To reduce weight focus on regular physical activity atleast 1 hr of brisk walk daily. Avoid cabbage cauliflower broccoli in your diet. In thyroid there wil be requirement of vitamin B, vitamin C and protein rich food which will help you to maintain your energy levels as well.

Hi To reduce fat focus on high fiber and high protein diet which wil help you to burn fat along with proper exercise routine here are few tips which will help you 1. Take salads before food 2. Drink 1 glass of water half n hour before and half n hour after food 3. Take soaked almonds every mrng 4. Take dal, low fat paneer chicken in diet.

Magnesium Deficiency - Know About Its Effect On Your Body!

We all know about magnesium as a mineral, but what most individuals do not know is the fact that it is a very important mineral for our bodily health. Magnesium is involved with more or less 300 complex metabolic processes in our body, thus earning the title of ‘master mineral’.

Here is a list of reasons why magnesium holds an important place in our body.

It is responsible for transportation of calcium across cell membranes. As such, it helps calcium get into the bone matter. Like we all know, magnesium is anti-inflammatory. It helps in waiving conditions mentioned below:

  1. Arthritis
  2. Alzheimer’s disease
  3. High blood pressure
  4. Respiratory issues
  5. Diabetes

So magnesium deficiency can definitely cause numerous problems in the human body. This element works in our body at a cellular level. It is important to have a check up done with the doctor to ensure the magnesium level, however, a simple a blood test cannot determine the presence or absence of it. Here are a few signs that might suggest that an individual is suffering from magnesium deficiency.

  1. A lot of calcium deficiency which means brittle bones
  2. Very poor heart health
  3. A lot of unnecessary weakness
  4. Very frequent muscle cramps at unusual situations
  5. Tremors, nausea and unnecessary anxiety
  6. High blood pressure and type 2 diabetes
  7. Difficulty in swallowing the food
  8. Poor memory
  9. Lots and lots of useless confusion

Although individuals with magnesium deficiency suffer from these symptoms, it is not necessary that any individual suffering from such symptoms might have magnesium deficiency. So, the only way to improve magnesium amount in the body is by changing your diet and including magnesium rich foods or my supplementing your food with magnesium-based food products.

Magnesium overdose is close to impossible and so many would not check their magnesium intake. However, consuming too much of anything can never be a good idea. Excessive magnesium intake might end up causing the following issues:

  • Irregular heartbeats in individuals
  • Slow breathing
  • Diarrhoea

This excess amount of magnesium in the body might be due to the fact that not all supplements can be easily absorbed by the body. So it is a better idea to eat inexpensive food to keep the magnesium levels at par with the bodily requirements.

Here is a list of items that can relieve the deficiency symptoms of low magnesium.

  1. Seeds of pumpkin
  2. Seeds of sun flower
  3. Soya bean
  4. Black beans
  5. Sesame seeds
  6. Almond
  7. Spinach and many more
