Thanks for health questions eat dark green leafy vegetables and fruits daily eat balanced diet and more protein rich diet drink plenty of water drink coconut water twice a day time avoid stress and strain avoid smoking and alcohol consumption if any avoid day time sleep take sound sleep at night avoid fast food and restaurant food take less oily and less spicy food practice yogas and pranayamas practice morning and evening walk

Hi, I have been gaining from the past 5 months. I had no problems until 1 month, I ate more and craved for food. After 2 months I started feeling bloated heavily. Hello, Your bloated abdomen is due to indigestion. Eat proper and balanced meals and avoid junk fook. Reduce your intake of protein . Eat small meals and don't eat till you are full. Have food lower than your hunger. Instead of eating whatever food you may lay your hand upon start eating healthy foods. Opt for fresh fruits and salads when hungry. Do some exercise .

The muscles you want to achieve needs vigorous exercise and that should be on targetted areas... You may need a gym instructor... who will guide you through the process.. And you must have high protein diet .

What should be an ideal diet for 50 year male with activity living habit who is suffering from diabetics.
Mr. Lybrate-user, diet plan for a person with diabetes is not very different f than one for a normal person. He needs to take a balanced diet, with 50 to 55% of calories coming from carbs, 15% from proteins & 25 to 30 % from fats. But major difference is in relation to type of foods. He should avoid sweets, deep fried foods, junk foods, pastries, other bakery items, sweetened aerated drinks (colas), fructose corn syrup containing foods, highly processed food products and high fat milk products. He should consume more of green leafy vegetables, salads and permitted fruits (100 g a day). Always use whole grain products and flour. Use more of millets and fiber containing seeds like flax seeds, fenugreek etc. As regards a specific diet plan for you I need to know following details: 1) fasting & pp glucose levels, hbac1%, 2) present drugs with dosage, 3) extent of daily exercise & 4) present diet pattern. You will have to plan caloric intake based on above and ideal body weight (72 kgs). Thanks.

Hi, I have been suffering from insomnia and took medicine for that I got batter but the other I realized I am sleeping but there is not satisfaction after sleep I still feel that I did not sleep for a minute. Now I just started gyming and experiencing body ache after 2 days of exercise. Is it bad if body is not experiencing the pain next day of the exercise. Is there any connection of pain with my sleeping pattern.

Follow these simple steps to ensure a good sleep every night and stay away from sleep disorders and other health problems associated with unhealthy sleep habits: 1) maintain a regular sleep routine go to bed at the same time. Wake up at the same time. Ideally, your schedule will remain the same (+/- 20 minutes) every night of the week. A good sleep hygiene routine promotes healthy sleep and daytime alertness. 2) avoid sleeping during the daytime. It can disturb the normal pattern. 3) avoid caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol near bedtime. While alcohol may speed the onset of sleep, it creates problems in he second half of sleep. 4) exercise can promote good sleep. Exercise should be taken in the morning or late afternoon. Yoga, can be done before bed to help. 5) have a quiet, comfortable bedroom. Set your bedroom thermostat at a comfortable temperature. Generally, a little cooler is better than a little warmer. Turn off the tv and other extraneous noise that may disrupt sleep. Background'white noise' like a fan is ok. If your pets awaken you, keep them outside the bedroom. Your bedroom should be dark. Turn off bright lights. Have a comfortable mattress. 6) avoid heavy meals close to bedtime. 7) ensure adequate exposure to natural light. 8) avoid emotionally upsetting conversations and activities before trying to go to sleep. Do not think of, or bring your problems to bed. 9) stop using all your digital devices and stop looking at digital screens be it mobile phones or televisions at least 1 hour before the time you plan to sleep. Instead try reading a fiction book near bedtime so it makes you help relaxed and de-stressed. Sleep well live healthy and live longer.

Being pregnant her p. P. Blood sugar should be below 120 mg%. Please ask her to go for ogtt test. Based on result we first control by life style modification and brisk walking and if required metformin can be used. Other wise insulin is drug of choice.

It is due to hydroureteronephrosis.There may be renal calculi blocking urine passage. It could be at the distal end of the ureter.
