You cannot work on a specific body part. You have to work on overall fat loss and toning. Try to eat small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Include exercises that tone your back and abdominal muscles too. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets and singular ab exercises or ab machines will not give you targeted results. The fats will remain as it is. It's all about overall work out and balanced diet.

Hi lybrate-user - incorporate more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains into your diet while eliminating unhealthy foods. - if you are working or studying away from home, try to pack healthy lunch and snacks for yourself to avoid eating unhealthy food daily. - don't eat straight from the packet - use a plate or bowl to control how much you eat. - don't delay or skip meals. - cut down your consumption of aerated drinks and sodas. - drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. Drink water after waking up and before sleeping. Being dehydrated may make you feel like you're hungry, so it is important to stay hydrated. - have homemade fruit and vegetable juices - eat 5-6 small healthy meals every 2-3 hours, every day, instead of having a few big ones. This regulates your blood sugar level and your metabolism. - don't skip breakfast, instead, make it rich with complex carbohydrates and proteins, so it can provide you with energy to get through the day. Try to include the following as your morning breakfast, oats porridge, eggs on multigrain toast or daliya with sprouts. - avoid artificial sweeteners in processed foods. - eat slowly as it takes about 20 minutes for your brain to register if you're full or not. Eating too fast leads to overeating, so chew slowly to digest your food better and control how much you eat. - use a smaller plate to control your portion sizes and avoid overeating. - know your cravings and do not snack when you're emotional. It is said that you crave crunchy and savory food when you're stressed, frustrated or lonely. Figure out what you crave and replace them with healthier alternatives. - do not eat mindlessly; concentrate on your food instead of watching tv or playing with your phone to avoid overeating.

Hi. Sir am diabetic, am taking glyciphage 50mg 1 at after dinner am vegetarian. My weight is 104kg, like to walk and am walking 3km perday, but now if I walk more my sugar gose down. And take medication for BP talma-am 40mg. I feel hungry everyafter 3 hours. I take full breakfast at 9am. Lunch at 2pm only moong dal and rice and salads. Some snacks at 7 pm. Dinner at 9.30pm. Some bhaji and chapati And curd or chas. But cant reduce my weight. Am I taking right medicine. I check my sugar and bp at every 3-4 months. Please guide me..

Dear let me know your latest sugars. It is very rare to have low blood sugars with only one tablet of glyciphage. Have small frequent meals every 3 hrs. Why dont you try cycling. It ia a very good exercise. Also you need to understand that energy expenditure should be more than energy intake for a successful weight loss. Please consult a dietician for a lesser calorie diet which does not cause weakness.

Yes, you need to work on s proper diet and acre use regimen. It is the fat mass which accumulates in the abdominal area. To lose this fat mass and gain muscle mass some strength training exercises need to be done.

Hi , do yogas special asanas for reducing tummy, because your tummy is not too much if you do yoga for 1-2 months your tummy will come across 30 inches and do not drink chilled water by refrigerator. Drink normal water 3-4 litre daily and also not to eat potatoes, rice and maida. Need a diet plan then consult me via private questions. Best wishes.

Dear. Follow these best tips to get in shape and loose weight.* in woman, body have a tendency to store fat. So body become over weight due to deposition of fatty tissues. First you should follow diet plan for weight loss. * in morning, take 2-3 chapattis witha bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of without cream milk after 2 hour of breakfast. *in lunch you can take a bowl of soupor salad. *in evening, you can take a cup of teawith glucose biscuits. *in dinner, you can take a bowl of fruits or 2 chapattis with a bowl of vegetables. * work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. For arms, stretch arms upwards and rotate them clockwise and then anticlockwise for 5 minutes. Take a bottle of 1 litre water filled bottle. Hold it in hand and raise you hands without moving elbow. Repeat for both arms for 5-10 times. It makes your arms slim and in proper shape. * do not eat fastfoods and soft drinks, as they have high calories.

The first thing you have to do is to develop a positive attitude towards your goal. You need to understand that transforming your physique is going to take a lot of time. These things don't work that easily. It's going to take a lot of hard work and consistency. 1. Start exercising. Start working out if you are not active. Begin with body weight exercises like push up, pull up and squats. Weight training proves to be really helpful if you want to gain good quality weight. Train each body part twice a week. For example: Monday/Thursday: Chest + Triceps Tuesday/Friday: Back + Biceps Wednesday/Saturday: Legs + Shoulders Don't forget to warm up for at least 10 - 15 minutes. Warm up includes jumping, rope skipping, treadmill, cycling, stair climbing, etc. 2. Eat Healthy. Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food and any form of sugar. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 2 - 3 hours. Some of the recommended food items are boiled chicken and eggs, brown rice, brown bread, peanut butter, olive oil (extra virgin), green tea, dry fruits etc. 3. Consume good amount of fruits and vegetables. Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. 4. Eat whole grains. Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Protein proves to be the most essential nutrient when it comes down to gaining strength or building muscle. Therefore, consume all types of protein from both veg and non veg food items. Boiled chicken and eggs are the best sources of fat free protein. Sprouts are also rich in protein. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. F. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. G. Hello You need to understand the concept of weight loss. It's a gradual process that requires cut down in calories under the guidance of a dietitian and regular exercise. Don't skip breakfast. Sleep for 7-9 hours per night. Avoid fried foods, sweets, carbonated drinks and processed foods. Include whole grains, sprouts, seasonal fruits and vegetables, salad vegetables like cucumber, kakri, onion, tomato. Take green tea 4-5 times a day. Drink plenty of water. Take flaxseed powder 1 tsp with lukewarm water on empty stomach. Thank you

Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey, and one-half teaspoon of black pepper powder in one cup of water. If you use freshly ground black pepper, then just add one-quarter teaspoon. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. Do this daily for at least three months.

For reduction of fasting sugar lever first of all reduched your dinner. It should be only 250 gram carbohydrate and lots of salad and increase your insulin level and for your post prandial to have lots of fiber rich breakfast. 1 medium bowl ots, wheat flakes, egg white, 2 toast.

Your weight reduction and control is of prime important. Prescribing very simple products and basic advises daily morning and evening walk at least twenty minutes yoga-padmasana, sarvangasana, pavanmuktasana and chanting mantra (as and when gets time) no non-veg, milk products, fried items, cold water eat only jav-yav-oat aata roti regularly six months 1-baggrys oat bran 5 gm twice daily with food or water 2- arjun powder 50 gm + mentha-pudina powder 25 gm mix, prepare tea - decoction with 3-4 gm powder add honey as per test and may take 3-4 times in a day - stop coffee or usual tea 3- arogyavardhini vati 500 mg one tablet daily with water in morning in empty stomach 4- amla powder 5 gm at bed time with warm water continue for three months, give feed back every month.

Hi since you travel a lot it is but obvious that you will have to take food from restaurants/hotels which may not be the healthiest option. But here are a few things which you can try and which will work very well too provided you follow them sincerely. 1. Warm water - have one liter of warm water daily. Not at one shot but spread over the entire day. 2. Asafoetida/hing - pinch of it, added to a glass of buttermilk. Take it after lunch everyday. 3. And of course, completely avoid deep fried food, junk food, fatty food and white sugar. These remedies will help to reduce the overall fat content in your body. But if you want to lose inches around your waist, the only solution you have is to work out.
