These are symptoms of alcohol intoxication occurring due to abnormal rise in blood alcohol level. The dizziness occurs as the inner ear hair cells (responsible for balance) malfunction because of high alcohol levels. Initially this will become normal once blood alcohol normalises with repeated such symptoms there's a real risk of permanent problem. Get a pta tympanometry lft (liver function test) done to rule out any damage. You can share your reports on lybrate. Hope this helps

Hello. For sore throat, need to follow the points: - Avoid cold things, fried/ oily food. -Avoid excessive use of voice/ roughly using voice or else shouting. - Gargle with salt and warm water solution thrice daily. - Take Ginger tea. - Avoid excessive cold air or sudden change of temperature (like coming from heat/ sunlight to an A/C room). - Can cover your throat with a stole. Angina Care

M.B.B.S. , PG Diploma In Clinical Cardiology
Cardiologist, Delhi
Angina Care

Angina is a term used for chest pain caused by reduced blood flow to the heart muscle. Angina is a symptom of coronary artery disease. Angina is typically described as squeezing, pressure, heaviness, tightness or pain in your chest.

Symptoms associated with angina include:

    Chest pain or discomfort
Pain in your arms, neck, jaw, shoulder or back accompanying chest pain
    Nausea
    Fatigue
    Shortness of breath
    Sweating
    Dizziness

The chest pain and discomfort common with angina may be described as pressure, squeezing, fullness or pain in the center of your chest. Some people with angina symptoms describe angina as feeling like a vise is squeezing their chest or feeling like a heavy weight has been placed on their chest. For others, it may feel like indigestion.

The severity, duration and type of angina can vary. It's important to recognize if you have new or changing chest discomfort. New or different symptoms may signal a more dangerous form of angina (unstable angina) or a heart attack.

Stable angina is the most common form of angina, and it typically occurs with exertion and goes away with rest. If chest discomfort is a new symptom for you, it's important to see your doctor to find out what's causing your chest pain and to get proper treatment. If your stable angina gets worse or changes, seek medical attention immediately.

Characteristics of stable angina

Develops when your heart works harder, such as when you exercise or climb stairs
Can usually be predicted and the pain is usually similar to previous types of chest pain you've had
Lasts a short time, perhaps five minutes or less
Disappears sooner if you rest or use your angina medication

Characteristics of unstable angina

    Occurs even at rest
Is a change in your usual pattern of angina
    Is unexpected
Is usually more severe and lasts longer than stable angina, maybe as long as 30 minutes
May not disappear with rest or use of angina medication
    Might signal a heart attack
    Thanks

This is becoz at your age skin fall tendency is high, so this leads to itching and irritation, but do not put candid or surgical spirit, this may lead to hearing loss further, do not do self medication.

In sinusitis, by surgery they would have drained the fluid. But the tendency is still there. Avoid cold, spicy and sour things in your meal. Start doing pranayam. It will help you. You may take homoeopathic treatment.

Blockage of one ear is because of cold allergy etc. Wherein there is cold inside nostrils or throat which air blocks air movements inside eustachian tube. There may be nasal defect, or wax in ear. For effective treatment you should see physician or ent specialist for definite diagnosis.

Hi. My daughter is having sinusitis. Please give me some opinion to get rid of this.

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
Sinusitis is an inflammation of the sinuses caused by virus, bacteria, fungus, allergy or an autoimmune reaction. Although uncomfortable and in some cases painful, it will often right itself without the need for medical intervention. Sinuses are hollow spaces behind the bones of your face. There are four pairs of sinuses. Allergies can cause sinusitis. Chronic sinusitis can last more than 12 weeks. Symptoms can include loss of sense of smell, halitosis and toothache. Home treatments such as steam inhalation can help the symptoms. If symptoms are particularly persistent, antibiotics may be prescribed. There are a number of reasons sinusitis can occur, including viral and bacterial infections. Doctors often refer to sinusitis as rhinosinusitis.

Headache & vertigo could be because of lack of sleep. Stress is one of the many factors responsible for insomnia. Have a hot glass of milk before you go off to sleep. It will help you in getting a sound sleep.
