There may be associated nasal polyps in nose or blocked sinus drainage pathway that is causing you this problem. Get a xray done of nose and sinus to rule out any underlying pathology. Review with report.

Change your sleeping time. Fix time for sleep that time you must go to sleep. Do hard work during day time, do not sleep during day time. Do arobic excersices, yoga. You take sarpgsndha mishran tablet 1 in night 15 minutes before going to sleep for 7 days in time you fix time. This time you should not missing time. After 7days stop tablet. Dear lybrateuser, -one ounce of cashews (16-18 nuts) provide 163 calories, if you eat multiple servings then it will lead to increase in weight, therefore if you are dieting & want to loose weight then one serving, 16 -18 nuts is ok -it is more beneficial to have a handful of mixed nuts- almonds, walnuts, pistachios, cashews as they will provide more fibre, protein & vitamins & minerals beneficial to the body.

No not necessarily it is a heart disease. It could be due to common cold in the ribs/due to abdominal gas. You should do a chest x-ray to rule out the reasons for the chest pain.

A neuro physician ref is to ensure there is no neurological cause for headaches. And a neurophysician will been the best expert to diagnose what the cause is. Probably recommended due to severity of your symptoms. Would recommend you increase font size you use on phone. Put in reminder for 20-20-20 rule. Start palming 2-3 times daily. Use lubricating eyedrops. Do some neck muscle and back stretches 1-2 times daily. Will help improve your efficiency n comfort during high smartphone usage.

For diabetes follow a diet low in carbohydrate, low in fat and high in fibre. Walking for 30 mins a day for at least 5 days in a week is recommended. Follow a stress free life. Medicine will depend on blood sugar report.

Hi 3 months back I got delivered and thru operation and now my stomach looks like very hard, so what is the reason and what should I do?

After the extraction of the baby through c-section, the abdomen is sutured back in layers. Hence the sutured area will be hard till the wound gets healed completely which takes about 6-8 months. Month on month the size of the hardened area of the abdomen reduces. Therefore you are advised not to squat on the floor, do severe physical exercises or lift heavy weights for about 6mths after delivery. Otherwise the internal sutures may open up and you may land up with complications.

Dear lybrate-user, vaginal itching can be due to infections, irritants, allergies etc. It is important to look for any associated vaginal discharge. Fungal infection by candida and bacterial vaginosis are important causes of genital itching and vaginal discharge. So please consult a gynaecologist or dermatologist to get the correct treatment. I am fever from last two days. I m taking medicine but nt working. What should I need to do?

Follow health advises given below: Measure your temperature and tell me reading 1. Avoid exertion 2. Take tablet paracetamol 500 mg after food (If No Drug Allergy) as and when required for fever more than 99 f (maximum 3 tablets with gap of 8 hr can be taken in a day) for 3 days 3. Lot of fluids to be taken 4. Take proper diet homemade food like moong dal dalia, chapati etc. 4. Avoid wearing synthetic and tight cloths. Get CBC checked and review with reports consult physician/me for further management and let me know what medicines you were taking and also tell me if you are having other symptoms like cough/ throat pain/ burning urine/ stomach pain so that we can confirm cause of fever.

Last month I had my periods on 17th april then I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend several times and depending on that I took 3 ipill in total till date. On 13th night I took one tablet named Histon (Norethisterone) tablet for postponing my period because generally I have early periods. Till today I didn't have my periods, I am having acute pain in my lower abdomen also which generally shows me the period's symptom. Is there any chance for me to become pregnant? Pls hlp me.

Please certainly check for pregnancy with urine strip test though there is possibilty that you get menstruation bit delayed even after noethisteron is stopped.  The i-pill or any other morning-after pill should not be misused as an excuse to practise unsafe sex. The manufacturers clearly state that a woman shouldn’t pop in these pills more than once in a menstrual cycle - however, it would be totally naive to think they can be taken so regularly. Taking more than one will play havoc with your cycle, make your periods unpredictable, with spotting becoming constant. The i-pill should be taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex but it’s most effective the sooner you take it. It is most effective if taken within 12 hours of unsafe sex, and the efficacy drops thereafter. And the worst part is it has 10 % failure rates. Thnx for asking.
