Hi Rose, please get pelvic ultrasound done to rule out ovarian conditions and hormonal status to know cause . After knowing cause you can take tablets to get period and prevent further complications.

First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket. And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back. You may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * surya namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * in diet vegetable protein of cereal, b complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.

Homoeopathy is the permanent solution for hair fall. Better to apply pure aloe vera gel to scalp, leave few hours and wash with lukewarm water. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables which contains rich calcium.

Pimples (acne) at this age is common condition with varied treatment options and is due to the normal hormonal changes happening in the body which increases the sebum secretion on the face. You will need to consult a dermatologist as they would be able to assess the type of your skin, severity and grade of acne, any underlying pigmentation or scars, condition of the scalp, aggrevating factors and tailor the medications accordingly. One important suggestion I want to make for you would be to avoid plucking and picking of your pimples as they would leave an ugly scar or pigmentation.

Heavy periods, also called menorrhagia, is when a woman loses an excessive amount of blood during consecutive periods. In most cases, no underlying cause of heavy periods is identified. However, some conditions and treatments have been linked to menorrhagia, including: ? uterine fibroids ? intrauterine contraceptive devices (IUDs) ? anticoagulant medication ? polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) ? he cause of the problem may sometimes need to be investigated further. This will usually involve having a pelvic examination. A blood test may also sometimes be recommended to check for anaemia (iron deficiency). ? Hi apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day.

Follow methods by which you can gain your desired height. 1. Follow these exercises regularly and you get the goal of height gain: * first stand straight bare foot on floor, then raise your arms upwards then raise your heels of foot with breathing in, try to stand on heels for 10-12 seconds and slowlylower down your heels back on the floor and breath outthe air. Repeat this exercise 5-8 times in morning. *sit on the floor, stretch you legs together so that both foot touch each other. Now raise your arms upwards together with back straight, now move your hands towardstoes of feet and touch them. Your forehead touching your knees. Slowly revert back the arms and move back arms in normal position. Repeat this exercise 2-4 times daily. You can privately consult me for understanding more exercises. 2. Take 300 ml of rich cream milk, 200 gm of cheese and 2-3 eggs regularly. It will definitely give boost to your bone growth. 3. Sit in sun rays for atleast 8-10 minutes in morning of evenings when the sun rays are not so strong. It will help you by getting adequate quantity of vitamin-d. 4. The growth and height iscontrolled by growth hormone whichis secreted by pituitary gland situated in the brain. So take meditation and have a stressfree lifestyle. Take 6-8 hours of sleep daily. Meditation makes your pituitatry gland healthy and working properly. 5. Take 1/2 teaspoon of ashwagandha powder with milk once a day.

Dear Lybrate User, *Drinking a cup of hot water with 1 tsp of honey and 10 drops of apple cider vinegar is a wonderful way to start the day. Honey and apple cider vinegar have scraping effects and can help with reducing excess adipose tissue. *Eliminating alcohol, caffeine and smoking. There is abundant information on how many negative effects these substances induce in the body. They can alter the digestive fire and create cravings for unhealthy foods. *Reducing dairy and meats from the diet. These foods are heavy, gross and can lead to slow, sluggish digestion which will increase the same qualities in the body. Therefore one will have excess heaviness, lethargy and poor metabolism with overconsumption of these foods. *Consume the largest meal at lunch – when digestion is strongest and keep dinner a simple and light meal. *Incorporate ginger pickles and teas in the diet. Ginger is an effective herb for stimulating digestion and removing toxins from the body. It will also help to increase metabolism. *Reducing the cold element in the diet and incorporating more hot meals will also bring changes to health. *Fresh vegetables such as beets, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, celery, leafy greens, onions, garlic, peppers and sprouts will help increase the light element in the body. Fruits to favor include; berries, apples, pears, pomegranate, raisins, lemons, prunes and apricots. Generally heavier and sweet fruit and vegetables such as potatoes, cucumber, zucchini, bananas, coconuts, avocados, oranges, grapes and pineapples are best avoided.

As your doctor might have instructed you not to drive because of recurrent pain in spine disc it is better to follow them but during recovery from your pain you can try for shorter distances of not more than ten minutes in a session with good spinal strengthening exercises and postural required changes if any

My daughter has got grade 2 anterolisthesis in her L5-S1 vertebrae. What exercise should she do?

Anterolisthesis is another term for spondylolisthesis. Anterolisthesis is a spine condition in which the upper vertebral body, the drum-shaped area in front of each vertebrae, slips forward onto the vertebra below. The amount of slippage is graded on a scale from 1 to 4. Grade 1 is mild (less than 25% slippage), while grade 4 is severe (greater than 75% slippage). Patients are advised to stop the activity or sport that evokes the back pain for up to 12 weeks, and may need a brace if pain is not adequately relieved. Usually most orthopedic experts recommend a non-operative management to begin with. Customized exercise and pain management programs to help the patients to get back to as normal as possible pain-free life. These programs generally (2-3 times/week) last for approximately 1-2 months based on individual response. These consist of electrical stimulation, ultrasound, or modalities such as massage, heat, manual therapy, ice, and graduated core stabilization and strengthening exercises to recondition the back and abdominal muscles. Re-aligning the spine by postural training, ergonomic changes to decrease straining at work, injury prevention, back safety education on proper lifting and repetitive motion, support braces as needed, breathing/relaxation techniques to reduce pain & muscle tension and, and lifestyle modifications are other strategies often employed. Operative management may be needed in some of the following situations - If a trial of non-operative management fails, - if dynamic radiological assessment shows excessive abnormal mobility of the involved verteba (during flexion and extension, or - if there is progressive neurological deficit. So far exercises in this condition are concerned, they should be customized as per individual. In general, when there has been slippage, the vertebrae tends to slip "forward" (towards the belly button) over the one below it. Due to the structure of the lumbar spine, it just makes sense that the vertebrae would slip "forward" and not "backward" Don't do any bending forward. Do a lot of extension exercises (arching the back) But keep the arching within limits, because extreme arching for is not good.

Follow these methods & instructions for dark circles: • Take 6 to 8 hrs sleep regularly. • Drink 8 glass of water daily. • Apply piece of cucumber on your both eyes. That has bleaching property. • Apply almond oil or you can apply capsule of vitamin E mix it in mosturiser or cream you have daily around the eye in night and massage it lightly daily. • Take a piece of potato and make it's juice by crush it apply its juice for 15 min daily. • Apply rose water daily for 10 min daily. • Take 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric (haldi) with one teaspoon of besan mix it with water and make paste apply it around eyes for 10 minutes and make it dry remove it. • Eat green leafy vegetables daily and fruits daily. Drink a glass of milk daily. • Do not take stress do long breathing pranayams daily for 10 minutes.

Here you did not mention your height & weight. But in spite of all these, if you want to gain weight. Then it should b in healthy & natural way. For that, you need to focus on more intake of proteinaceous food, like soya, sprouts, millets, egg white, milk, milk products, meat (not oil fried)&! along with good exercises.

Hye. Thanks for the query. Just eating a particular food does not cause weight loss. It's about a balance of each food group. Alos, being hypothyroid, you need to concentrate on eating right rather than eating less. Maintaining body weight is not a one time effort that you try, succeed or fail or drop the actions that take you there. You are what you eat. Your weight is nothing but a balance of how much you eat and how much you burn or exercise. Understanding this art of balance will make it easy to maintain your body weight. Walking, swimming, strength training as well as eating are all calorie burning processes. Along with this if you eat sensibly; then you will see the scales move. There is no short cut to losing weight. You have to eat the right foods at the right time. Eat small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called fad, crash diets, medicines, pills or supplements will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, lose that fat not muscle mass.

56 Kg. 1. Take 15 mins light walk before meals to increase appetite 2. Avoid water intake with/ just before meal as it curbs appetite 3. Avoid heavy snacks/ junk foods before main meals 4. Have small frequent meals at 2-3 hrs gap instead of 3-4 large ones 5. Instead of having more no of items in a meal, have concentrated meals with less items, low volume but high nutrient & energy density- ex: Paneer paratha with chutney & mango shrikhand; Chicken/ soyabean roll, cheese omlette, fish cutlets, potato sandwich with almond milkshake, sugarcane juice, til chikki, cereal malt with milk & sugar, premix 6. Have rice & rotis with ghee, peanut butter, jam/jelly

First of all you should follow some basic thing 1. Avoid=hot and cold at time 2. Less the sugar as much as possible if you want to eat sweet take juggery which is black 3. Do not drink water after meal drink at the time of meal sip by sip up to 150 ml 4. Avoid late night sleep 5. Panchamrut parpati 1 tab before lunch and dinner 6. Audumbaravleha 2 tsp before lunch and dinner.
