Hello sir/mam My gfs age is 21 nd she is suffering from irregular white discharge/white solids from her vagina tried many creams bt did not worked. Wht might have happened doctor? Is it normal or not. And how to stop that? please help me.

MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology, MBBS
Gynaecologist, Kolkata
The discharge may be normal if it is not too frequent, without smell, without blood/mucus, white in color (not yellow) and is not causing burning or scratching. Any of the above may be sign of infection. White solids are nothing but the discharge which has solidified inside the vagina. Again this comes infrequently, without other symptoms. Douching (internal washing) of vagina is practiced in the west but is not popular in our country. It is the best way out. Otherwise all she needs is regular external washing and sanitary napkins whenever the problem shows up.

Most sex headaches are nothing to worry about. But some can be related to problems with the blood vessels of brain or use of some medications, such as birth control pills. Anti-migraine medications can be taken an hour before sex to prevent headaches.

A delay of one day is normal. But if your period doesn't come then go for pregnancy test after one week. Other reason for delay in periods besides pregnancy are - Stress or anxiety, Illness, Weight, Excessive exercise, Change in schedule, Medication, Hormonal imbalance, Thyroid disorder. So you need to exclude above reasons. Till then Take plenty of water to hydrate yourself ,to eliminate toxins to absorb nutrients to nourish your body, establishing your flow. * Go for meditation to reduce your stress, anxiety to calm your nerve your diet be simple, non- irritant, easily digestible on time to maintain your digestion, avoiding gastric disorder. Ensure sound sleep at night for at least 7-8 hrs. If then too your period didn't come then do consult a good homeopath. And for my opinion contact me.

Tips for coping with morning sickness

MS, MBBS
Gynaecologist, Delhi

Tips for coping with morning sickness:-

Most mums-to-be suffer from nausea early on in their pregnancy. The main cause is thought to be the pregnancy hormones that your body produces in the first trimester. Other possible causes are a stronger sense of smell and excess stomach acids. Tiredness and stress can make nausea worse.
Morning sickness can last from a few weeks to a few months. And it can affect you at any time of the day, not just in the morning. Most women find that they stop feeling nauseous by the end of the third month, or soon after. You might find yourself making some strange food choices during this time, but don't worry. As long as you are keeping something down, you can catch up on healthy eating later.

I had unprotected sex post my lmp. What is the earliest I can take a hpt. What are the chances I can get pregnant. I have one baby and last month did a sonography and all my reports were normal. I fee bloated and slight cramps at nights.

In majority of the cases irregular menses are accredited to hormonal imbalance, but in some cases it may be pathological and secondary to some pathology of ovaries mostly. Now if you want to regularized the menses then you must establish permanent balanced first and this can be achieved only with homoeopathy, because in modern medicine we get only a hormonal support with a very temporary relief. But with homoeopathy you can strike the hormonal balance permanently which later on also give you regular menses even if you stop the medicine.

Hello you must get a urine examination done to rule out urine infection. Watch the next period, if that is also prolonged, some treatment will be required.
