Hello sir if your ligaments are damaged you need to build up strength in the knee. This is so that you can avoid iinstability to the knee. Exercise - press your knee while lying down on a towel. Hold for 10 secs. Then release the knee. Exercise - press your heel on a towel. Hold for 10 secs. This will improve your hamstring strength. Exercise - raise your leg in lying position for 10 secs. Hold and then bring it down. Exercise - squeeze a towel between your knees for 10 secs. All these exercises will help you to build up stability of the knee.

I am 36 years old Male, I am suffering with pain in the lower back exactly at the end tip of the back bone which ends at the starting point of crack in between the butt. It's severely paining while getting up and sitting eg. Sitting in a chair for continuously for an hour and when you try to get up. Can anyone reply with a reason and remedy.

Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front.

I fallen from a tree 6 years ago. In that time chequed by physician & he suggested to surgery in lumber spine. My problem was in spine d12. But I did not. Now I am paining in leg muscle& lower part of body. What will be duty of me?

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Kindly show me x rays of your shoulder. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Do hot fomentation any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. Do neck & shoulder exercises it may have to be further investigated make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Shoulder exercises can be done any time. It should not be done immediately after taking food. Do reply back for private consultation and detailed treatment plan.

It is because of stiffness of the interphallangeal joint. You need to take physiotherapy sessions to regain the normal range of motion ot joint.

Hello, knee is most remarkable complex joint of body heavily dependent for stability on ligaments intra-articular and extra-articular stabilisers. In squatting position knee gets heavily stressed. Obesity also increases instability of joint. You must visit qualified physiotherapist for proper knee examine. Avoid squatting position.

Hiii, I got an accident before 6 year in my knee (torn of acl nd meniscus of grade 3) and right now my injured leg is getting thinner as compare to other leg. But right now I can not get surgery. I will get my surgery done after 4 month. What should I do to avoid thinning of leg? And is there any problem in delaying surgery?

Delay in ACL surgery more than 6 months, does affect outcome. since it's already 6 years, another 4 months won't make a difference, provided:- 1) all activities that increase pain and instability are avoided 2) exercises are done regularly. That will also restore bulk of your leg to some extent

I have been in a lot of pain in my left shoulder since last month. I do exercise but nothing seems to be working. The pain has reduced from last week but not gone. Did you have any injury? What kind of work do you do. There are many queries which need to be answered before telling a treatment. I would suggest you to visit some specialist and get thorough examination done. Then it would be easier to treat you. Neck sound is because of osteophytes most probably. Might not need any treatment if there is no pain or weakness of upper limbs. Regarding Osteoarthritis of knees, treatment depends upon clinical examination. It varies from different exercises, some medicines, or injections in knee to may be Partial joint replacement or Total knee replacement. Joint saving surgery to joint replacement surgery. This problem can happen in a lot of young females, advice if there is only a localized type of backache with no other associated symptoms is: - do intensive back, general conditioning and abdominal strengthening exercises - use analgesic spray like volini or dynapar qps spray for local application - take adequate calcium and vitamin d as per your requirement - daily brisk walks for 2-3 km per day let me know in 2-3 weeks time/sos how you are feeling? do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day. Avoid junk food. Spicy food. Fermented food. Tea. Alcohol. Avoid alcohol consumption. Do pranayama early morning.

Use cervical pillow. Advice. Regular stretching of shoulder muscles. Warm up and cool down is a must. Hot fomentation.
