Hi lybrate-user, For improving tone and texture of face, removal of dark spots and for glowing facial skin, I recommend skin lightening creams, Skin lightening capsules/tablets, Chemical peels and Microdermabrasion therapy. You will need a skin lightening cream and good sunscreen initially. I can prescribe you that. For further improvement, advanced treatments can be initiated.

Start avle ka murabba daily. Also have a high protien rich diet e.g. Pulses, Dry fruits, Black gram, Ground nut etc, white of egg (if u eat egg). also oil ur hair with good herbal oil and wash with herbal shamppoo - avoid shampoos with high acid contents. As far as Ayurveda's therapy is concerned - start with Shirodhara with herbal oil and Nasyam therapy for atleast 15 days. This will greatly help. Do gentle massage with herbal hair oil daily night for 15 minutes. Although some herbal medicines might also help you but after proper history taking. Hello, there are many causes of itchy scalp like dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, an allergy, inflammatory condition, etc. Will have to rule out the problems. Get the diagnosis done from a dermatologist. Meantime, take homoeopathic medicines - schwabe's badiaga 200. Use schwabe's anti-dandruff shampoo and anti-dandruff oil regularly.

Regular massaging the scalp for a few minutes every day with lukewarm oil will lead to stimulation of blood flow to the scalp. Coconut oil helps in controlling hail fall. Other recommended oils are: Jojoba oil, almond oil, mustard oil, lavender oil. Jojoba oil is especially good because it replaces the sebum in the scalp.

Hello Doctors, From last one and half year, I started observing dark marks on my both cheeks, I tried many home remedies to cure this. But still black marks are there, and it is getting dark day by day. I used to do threading on my cheeks, but from last 1 and half year I am not doing this, but when I started feeling marks I stopped to do threading. Please guide me what I should do? One of my friend suggested me to use Nometasone Furoate crameam on these marks. Is it ok to use this or can you suggest me some ways to cure it

Mometasone cream is used to treat skin conditions such as eczema and dermatitis. I advice you not to use it. Instead use Kojic acid cream with vitamin C at bedtime. In the morning apply sunscreen: Sunprotek by salve pharma.

I am having very small visible pore on my face. My skin type is little oily. Now I Am in worry that as the age progresses these pores Become more prominent (visible) due to loosening of facial collagen. Now how. I can treat them so that they were not so much enlarge with age?

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
Homemade sugar scrubs can be of great help in reducing large pores as they exfoliate the skin and remove excess oil and impurities. Mix two tablespoons of sugar, one tablespoon of olive oil and a few drops of lemon juice. Gently rub it on your skin for 20 to 30 seconds, and then wash it off with cool water.

Hello. White patches/ dots on your skin are a common type of depigmented skin lesion associated with an infection, allergy, or autoimmune disorder. One common cause of white spots, or hypopigmentation, is a fungal infection of the skin known as tinea versicolor (associated with other symptoms, such as itching or dryness on or around the white patches). This fungal infection is not contagious and can be treated easily with over-the-counter medications. The white spots and patches can also be because of deficiency of vitamin d (for which 15-20 minutes of exposure to early morning sunlight without sunscreen is needed, 3-4 times a week). Or else they could be idiopathic (i. E, without any cause). Vitiligo is an autoimmune disorder which can be treated with homoeopathic medicines, but chances of relapses are also there. Please tell me other symptoms like about sensation on the area, since how long do you have this patch, any family history of white patch, etc. Meantime, you can start with homoeopathic medicines - cina 1m/ one dose daily at night and ars. Sulph. Flavum. 200/ twice daily for initially 1 month (it is safe). Apply a good brand's sunscreen with spf 40 on the skin (specially on the white patches/ spots) 20-30 minutes before going out under the sunscreen and reapply it after 3-4 hrs. Again.

Potato and lemon juice mix is a great aid in making your skin fair and flawless.

I am losing hair quickly and have tried all shampoos, oils but no effect yet. I am not sure what else can I do. Can you help me with this.

Trichologist
Dermatologist, Mumbai
Hair is part of the body. Hair roots are situated inside the scalp. It gets nutrition through blood. Oil and shampoo helps to condition the scalp. There are various diagnostic techniques to rule out the problem. Trichogram helps to understand anagen: telogen ratio, condition of hair root, condition of hair shaft and even protein level in hiar. Capilloscope helps to understand density of hair and even scaly problem of hair. After these tests we can diagnose the root cause of the problem. Hair needs proteins, minerals and iron. Eat well, drink enough amount of water and condition the scalp with oil. Consult trichologist.

Dear Scar are the fibrous tissue form on the skin in order to repair broken tissue. When there is an injury the skin produces more cells in order to grow the punctured skin that is known as scar. Scars always occur when the outer layer of the skin, the epidermis is cut and the injury extends to the dermis. The resulting scar does not have good blood circulation, is sometimes uneven and is less elastic. In addition, major variations in color are possible. Visit us at www.Malhotraayurveda.Com
