Your health is affected by a number of physical, mental and emotional conditions. Falling in love is one of these factors. Being in love with someone does not only put a smile on your face, it can also boost your immunity and lower stress levels. Love can make you feel stronger both mentally and physically. Here are a few reasons why love is beneficial to your health.

You may have a longer life: love helps fight stress and hence helps reduce the harmful effects of stress. Stress is a direct trigger for many fatal conditions such as heart attack and strokes and thus, being in love reduces your risk of such diseases. Studies have also shown that when in love, a person takes more care of themselves and hence has a lower risk of having an accident, violence etc. Thus, being in love can give you a longer lifespan and can reduce chances of an early death.

Instead of microwaving a tv dinner, a person in love is likely to eat a healthier meal with their partner and be more conscious of their diet. Being in love also makes you want to look good thus, encourages exercising. By following a healthy diet and exercising regularly, you can reduce your chances of suffering from lifestyle diseases such as diabetes and obesity. Living with a person you love can also lower your alcohol and nicotine consumption and hence protect you from their ill effects.
It protects you from depression: companionship and love are good for a person’s mental health. Love can help stabilise emotions and keep you from depression. By living with someone a person does not have the chance to withdraw into themselves and can always rely on having someone to talk to. By sharing your thoughts and emotions with another person, difficult situations can become easier to handle and hence cause less stress and depression.
It can help you look younger: as mentioned earlier, being in love can make you take better care of yourself. It is often said that a person in love ’glows’. In a nutshell, being in love makes you happy and this releases happy hormones that aid in the removal of toxins and prevent premature ageing. When you’re in love, you may also notice your hair looking healthier and shinier.

How could we stop the heart attack in case of emergency is there any medicine to stop it.
In case of emergency best thing to do is rush to a nearby hospital if someone has heart attack. Although dos and donots are there but the problem is correct diagnosis and hence decission can not be taken by a non medical person. Many people report with noncardiac chest pain thinking as heart attack, which is acceptable. But many also ignore serious chest pain and try to manage with home remedies which is dangerous.

Top 10 Weight Loss Tips (Basic Tips for Weight Loss)

All of us at some point in our life crave to have the body that we had a few years earlier. We are constantly looking for weight loss tips. If the problem is not very big, we feel losing just 3-4 kgs will help us get to the place we want. Some time weight loss tips are needed for medical purposes too. You never know when that extra weight may become a cause of health issues like diabetes, blood pressure, heart ailments and even metabolic disorders.

 

Weight Loss Tips:

 

1. Increase soluble and insoluble fibre intake -

Insoluble fibre is the roughage derived from vegetables, fruits and bran, whereas soluble fibre like pectin is derived from oats, apple peels and guava. Both types of fibre are equally helpful in obtaining optimum health and achieve weight loss goals.

 

Fibre helps in weight loss by filling up the space, bringing satiety and still providing lesser calories than 90% of other foods in the world. So next time you feel hungry, grab a cucumber or carrot or tomato instead of reaching out for biscuits and chips. Raw carrots, radish and tomatoes have special enzymes that keep metabolism up. You can also increase your fibre intake by mixing bran to your regular wheat flour. And using non-sieved flour. Avoid the use of refined flours. Substitute white rice with brown rice.

 

 

2. Drink warm water 4-5 times a day -

Warm water helps in better digestion and keeping the metabolic rate elevated. Drink 4-5 glasses of warm water specially after your meals. Add lemon / cardamom / saunf for taste. These items further increase rate of weight loss.

 

 

3. Cut down on whole milk and curd -

Whole milk and curds made of whole milk have some percentage of fat in it. The best way to enjoy these foods, even when on diet is to have the milk in skimmed form and dilute the curds and make buttermilk / chaas out of it. You can take upto 3-4 glasses of chaas in a day, it will not only keep you hydrated and help in weight loss, but it will also provide you with quality protein and calcium.

 

 

4. Substitute your rice and roti (chapatti/breads) with oats and dalia (broken wheat) -

It all comes down to your routine. If a person who is used to eating more of rice or more of chapatti in day to day life, gives up on it and substitutes it with items like oats and broken wheat, the body automatically starts losing weight in order to adapt to the new changes. It might be tough for some people, but it the best way to eat as much as you want and still lose weight. For better results add a lot of veggies to your oats and daliya preparations.

 

 

5. Half a teaspoon of lemon juice or amla (indian gooseberry) powder -

Both these are good sources of vitamin c. These foods ensure that your immunity stays intact and enough antioxidants are provided to the body in order to take care of metabolic wastes. They help in weight loss by elevating the metabolic rate. Read – lemon water for weight loss

 

 

6. Increase your liquid intake -

You must have seen a lot of people who keep dieting and feel weak or they look dull and tired at all times. This is because while fat is being burnt, a lot of metabolic wastes accumulate in the body, causing stress, hence one must increase liquid intake. You can add plenty of plain water, infused water, buttermilk / chaas, warm water with lemon, amla juice and vegetable juices. These liquids ensure increased urination and hence wastes can be eliminated from the body.

 

 

7. Have lighter dinners -

The most helpful weight loss tip is substituting your regular dinner with a glass of milk with lots of fruits.

Primary requirement is strict blood sugar control. If that is achieved and if you have high bp that also should be controlled. To reduce creatinine reduce protein in take to 0.6 g per kg. Most important is absolute sugar control.

Hello, You should take a homoeopathic tincture called Arnica Montana and mix 1 tsp in 1/2 cup of water and apply upon the face on the beard and the mustache area with a cotton swab. Then use the razor movement technique. Take Sulphur 200, 5 drops once in a week. Take pituitarinum 1x, 1 tablet daily for 15 days. Repeat the process every third day . Revert me after 1 month.

गठिया, एक या अधिक जोड़ों की सूजन है। हालांकि, "गठिया" शब्द का अर्थ जोड़ों की सूजन है, परंतु इस शब्द का उपयोग लगभग 200 आमवाती रोगों और शर्तों का वर्णन करने के लिए किया जाता है, जो जोड़ों, जोड़ों के आसपास के ऊतकों और अन्य संयोजी ऊतक को प्रभावित करते हैं । सामान्य गठिया के लक्षणों में सूजन, दर्द, कड़ापन और गति की सीमा में कमी शामिल है। गठिया के कुछ प्रकार, जैसे संधिशोथ गठिया और ल्यूपस (एसएलई), कई अंगों को प्रभावित कर सकते हैं और व्यापक लक्षण पैदा कर सकते हैं। गठिया 65 वर्ष या उससे अधिक आयु के लोगों में बहुत आम है, लेकिन सभी उम्र के लोग (बच्चों सहित) प्रभावित हो सकते हैं।

जब आपके गठिया होते हैं, तो आपका शरीर सूजन की स्थिति में होता है। आप जो खाते हैं वह न केवल सूजन को बढ़ा सकता है, बल्कि मोटापा, हृदय रोग और मधुमेह जैसी अन्य चिरकाली स्थितियों का खतरा भी बढ़ा सकता है। इसके अलावा, कुछ खाद्य पदार्थ सूजन से लड़ने, हड्डियों को मजबूत करने और प्रतिरक्षा प्रणाली को बढ़ावा देने के लिए जाने जाते हैं। 
 

गठिया रोग मे परहेज
निम्नलिखित खाद्य पदार्थों का परहेज़ करें:
1. तला और प्रसंस्कृत खाद्य पदार्थ: 
शोधकर्ताओं ने पाया है कि तला हुआ और संसाधित खाद्य पदार्थों की खपत को कम करने से सूजन कम हो सकती है और वास्तव में शरीर की प्राकृतिक सुरक्षा को बहाल करने में मदद मिलती है। वनस्पति तेलों में तला हुआ भोजन से बचें, जो ओमेगा -6 फैटी एसिड में अधिक है। 
2. मीठा: डेसर्ट, पेस्ट्री, चॉकलेट बार, सोडा, यहां तक कि फलों के रस का विरोध करना मुश्किल हो सकता है। वे रक्त की अम्लता बढ़ा सकते हैं और सूजन को बढ़ा सकते हैं। चीनी कई नामों से जाना जाता है, इसलिए संघटक लेबल पर "ओज़" में समाप्त होने वाले शब्दों का ध्यान दें, जैसे कि फ्रुक्टोज या सुक्रोज़।
3. लाल मांस: इसमें एरेक्इडोनिक एसिड नामक एक ओमेगा -6 फैटी एसिड का उच्च स्तर होता है, जो दर्द और सूजन को बढ़ा सकता है। अच्छी गुणवत्ता वाले लाल मांस का एक छोटा टुकड़ा फायदेमंद हो सकता है, लोहा जैसे अच्छे स्तरों की आपूर्ति कर सकता है; हालांकि, गठिया वाले लोगों को प्रति सप्ताह एक या दो बार से ज्यादा नहीं खाना चाहिए।
4. कॉफ़ी: कॉफी भी रक्त की बढ़ती अम्लता का कारण बन सकती है, जिससे सूजन बढ़ जाती है। हरी चाय और हर्बल चाय बेहतर विकल्प हैं।
5. नैटशाइड परिवार की सब्जियां: टमाटर, सफ़ेद आलू, बैंगन और काली मिर्च गठिया वाले कुछ लोगों में दर्द और सूजन को बढ़ा सकते हैं।
6. मोनो-सोडियम ग्लूटामेट (एम.एस.जी): मोनो-सोडियम ग्लूटामेट (एम.एस.जी) एक स्वाद बढ़ाने वाला खाद्य योजक है जो सबसे अधिक तैयार एशियाई भोजन और सोया सॉस में पाया जाता है। यह फास्ट फूड, तैयार सूप्स, सलाद ड्रेसिंग और डेली मांस में भी जोड़ा जाता है। यह क्रोनिक सूजन को ट्रिगर कर सकता है और यकृत के स्वास्थ्य को प्रभावित कर सकता है।
7. नमक और परिरक्षक: लंबे समय तक शेल्फ जीवन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए कई खाद्य पदार्थों में अत्यधिक नमक और अन्य संरक्षक शामिल होते हैं। कुछ लोगों के लिए, नमक की अतिरिक्त खपत के कारण जोड़ों की सूजन हो सकती है।
8. शराब और तंबाकू: तंबाकू और शराब का इस्तेमाल कई तरह की स्वास्थ्य समस्याएं पैदा कर सकता है, जिनमें कुछ आपके जोड़ों को प्रभावित कर सकती हैं। धूम्रपान करने वालों को संधिशोथ के विकास के लिए अधिक खतरा होता है, जबकि जो लोग शराब का सेवन करते हैं वे गाउट के विकास के लिए अधिक जोखिम रखते हैं। इसके अतिरिक्त, शराब यकृत के लिए एक बोझ है। अत्यधिक उपयोग यकृत फ़ंक्शन को कमजोर कर देता है, अन्य बहु-अंग परस्पर क्रियाओं को बाधित कर सकता है और सूजन पैदा कर सकता है।
अपने आहार में फल और सब्जियों के अनुपात में वृद्धि, सूजन को बढ़ावा देने वाले खाद्य पदार्थों पर की कटाई, मछली को अपना मुख्य प्रोटीन बनाने और अधिक ओमेगा -3 प्राप्त करने से आपके गठिया के लक्षणों में बड़ा अंतर हो सकता है।

Do regular exercise. Make a habit of consuming one well ripen banana with a cup of warm milk. Eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk overnight. Fluids should not be taken before or with a meal but only after a meal so that food intake is not reduced. Include protein rich food in your diet. If you are non vegetarian include eggs chicken and fish in your diet. Take small and frequent meals.

Dear, prescribed drugs are not antipsychotics, so you need to correct your knowledge regarding drugs and alcohol both. Also, dear kuma have some faith in your doctor regarding the treatment. Amitriptyline is a good drug. Or you can take a second opinion frm other psychiatrist. Take care.

There are a various causes for stomach problems, treatment depends on the location, severity and type of pain. Laboratory tests such as the complete blood count (cbc), liver enzymes, pancreatic enzymes (amylase and lipase), urinalysis are frequently performed in the evaluation of abdominal pain. If you have h. Pylori infection for which I can prescribe a 14 day treatment plan which will eliminate it. Untreated infection causes ulcers in stomach and may finally lead to cancer. Do reply back for medication prescriptions. Being also a general physician and registered dietitian, I prescribe both evidence based herbal as well as allopathic medicines complementing with dietary guidelines and home remedies carefully personalized for each individual patient.

Hello, psoriasis is genetic disorder triggered due to stressful conditions and irregular life style. Psoriasis has three stages. First stage is when disease remain on skin and there are scaly patches. Second stage comes when there is pitting on nails and in last stage it enter the joints and there is pain in small joints. Generally patient use steroidal application on patches which give temporary relief and disease reappear after 2/3 days. In severe cases methotrexate is used which is not a safer option and is liver toxic. Ayurveda has got a complete remedy for psoriasis. It is a safer option and can be used for longer duration without any side effects. Ayurvedic external application give very quick results with sun exposure in clearing the scales and internal treatment does not allow the disease to re appear. Psoriasis is a manageable disease and can be managed with ease and effectively using ayurveda. Coconut oil is best remedy for dry skin to be applied after taking bath. You can use salytar soap. You should use 3 gms of haldi with milk helps in psoriasis patients.

Hi lybrate-user. Your bmi (body mass index) is 15, 33 which is below normal bmi of 18.5-24.9. To increase your weight, improve the protein intake by consuming food such as soyabeans, peanuts, chicken, tuna, eggs, cheese etc. Build up your muscle through weight training i. E lifting weights as it will stimulate your appetite. The extra muscle will speed up your metabolism and so you will need to consume more calories which will enhance your weight.
