I had chicken pox last month and marks are still on the face. How to remove marks.

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
I had chicken pox last month and marks are still on the face. How to remove marks.
Use water to wet your chickenpox-affected skin. Now, rub some raw oats on the wet skin for 1-2 minutes. It will remove the dead skin cells, thus will help in removing the chickenpox scar Vitamin E comes as a good solution as it is a great source of antioxidants and effectively repairs the damaged cells. It protects the skin from bacteria and other hazards of the environment. So include the natural sources of Vitamin E, such as spinach, almonds, papaya, and avocado etc. in your daily diet to treat this condition from within.

SKIN CARE
Winter is the worst season for Skin- flaking, itchiness, pimples, redness, dullness is usual and neglect of daily care can easily lead to habitual dehydration, with sensitive skins and red patches. But it is so difficult to care for skin in winters with chilling cold, numb fingers, freezing water. Keeping these factors in mind here are some tips-
Despite the cold do not forget drinking lots of water-preferably warm water
The glow is not superficial. Its deep. Make it a point to drink any one type of fresh fruit juice in the morning. Best pick- strawberry juice!
Apply few drops of warm olive/coconut/apricot/almond oil on face, soles and navel at bedtime for great detox!

I am a working lady my skin is going dull and dark due to sunlight what does I do.
Hello. Exposure to sun results in some damaging changes in the skin that turn your skin dull and dark. In addition, if you have an oily skin, the breakdown products of the oil also irritate the skin leading to dullness. I would recommend you use a good pharmaceutical grade sunscreen. There are very good creams that could bring back the glow in the skin. Please do not use over the counter medicines as they can damage the skin further. Consult a dermatologist to get the best treatment.

How to treat Xerosis cutis? My thighs are wrinkled and look bad. What medicines would be best to treat this?

How to treat Xerosis cutis? My thighs are wrinkled and look bad. What medicines would be best to treat this?
Hi, The skin's condition can be treated well with homoeopathic medicines depending upon it's chronicity and intensity. Do need a clear photograph of the affected area along with rest of the details. Meantime, telling you the management: You can improve your dry skin by good along with a healthy intake of food which should includes vitamin A, C, E and protein, lots of water, application of good sunscreen before going out. Choose mild soaps that have added oils and fats. Avoid deodorant and antibacterial soaps, which are especially harsh on dry skin. After washing or bathing, gently pat or blot your skin dry with a towel so that some moisture remains on the skin (never ever rub the area). Apply the moisturizer or lubricating cream while your skin is still wet or moist from bathing. Petroleum jelly is a good choice. Cover the treated areas with plastic wrap to keep the petroleum jelly from staining clothes and furniture. Use a portable home humidifier or one attached to your furnace to add moisture to the air inside your home. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines – Schwabe's Alfaalfa Tonic and Petroleum 200/ twice daily, take them for 1 month. Use Schwabe's Skin care bathing bar, Calendula & Aloe Vera all purpose cream, Bakson's Body oil to be applied.

Hello. White patches/ dots on your skin are a common type of depigmented skin lesion associated with an infection, allergy, or autoimmune disorder. One common cause of white spots, or hypopigmentation, is a fungal infection of the skin known as tinea versicolor (associated with other symptoms, such as itching or dryness on or around the white patches). This fungal infection is not contagious and can be treated easily with over-the-counter medications. The white spots and patches can also be because of deficiency of vitamin d (for which 15-20 minutes of exposure to early morning sunlight without sunscreen is needed, 3-4 times a week). Or else they could be idiopathic (i. E, without any cause). Vitiligo is an autoimmune disorder which can be treated with homoeopathic medicines, but chances of relapses are also there. Please tell me other symptoms like about sensation on the area, since how long do you have this patch, any family history of white patch, etc. Meantime, you can start with homoeopathic medicines - cina 1m/ one dose daily at night and ars. Sulph. Flavum. 200/ twice daily for 20 days (it is safe). Apply a good brand's sunscreen with spf 40 on the skin (specially on the white patches/ spots) 20-30 minutes before going out under the sunscreen and reapply it after 3-4 hrs. Again.

Hello, you can take homoeopathic medicines 1. Kali brom 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week. 2. Berberis aquifolium q (10 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week and revert. Keep a gap of 15 - 20 minutes in both the medicines. *clean your skin gently with a mild face wash removing all dirt or make-up. Wash many times a day with plain water. *get an adequate amount of sleep. *avoid touching your face with your hands or try to squeeze pimples, it may leave permanent scars and spread the infection. *make a habit of 8-10 glasses of water daily. *avoid fried and spicy food. *include fruits, raw vegetables and fresh vegetable juices in your diet. *avoid stress and anger. *avoid harsh skin products.
