Take planty of fluid like water, cow milk, masur dal, etc.change your thought that you have enough milk for your baby, you think positive. U think about your baby. Stimulate your breast with comb below upward. Give massage over your back by striping method. Also take metoclopramide tab bid for 3 days. Also take calcium and iron tablets.

My baby is 2 months old and weigh around 3.4 kg. She is passing stool very frequently I.e. Around 6 to 7 times in a day. The stool is neither solid not totally liquid. It's a semi liquid/solid. But my worry is frequent stool of daughter. Is it normal. Should I consult pediatrician? Please advise.

If your baby is breastfed it is fine and if you bottle feed, stop bottle and give exclusively breast milk.

If the baby is active (and has no fever) and passes urine and stools as usual then there is nothing to worry. Keep feeding only breast milk. Learn more about the subject from the internet. Please go for regular health check up with your doctor and also follow the vaccination schedule. You can start Homeopathy if there is any problem. You can contact me for further details.

My 4 years baby not eating food properly and she vomiting while taking food every day, Please suggest good medicine for control vomiting Thank you.

MBBS, MD
Pediatrician, Gurgaon
At four years child should be completely self feeding. She should decide what amount she should take and eat. Generally vomiting is see. N when mothers force feed the child. Otherwise self eaters never have vomiting.

I think child is having nephrotic syndrome. If it occurs between 1 to 8 years it responds to treatment. As the age is less than 1 year it may need a renal biopsy.

There are a few reasons why this happens to kids/babies. The more common reason would be that the baby is full of milk, especially when so small and young, they burp and it comes up and exits the nose and mouth. The nose and throat are connected and in such a tiny being they are even closer together leading to this being much more common than you would expect. Unless your child is constantly doing it and it clearly causes pain, not to be confused with discomfort, I wouldn't be too worried about it...
